Homely Meal at Toby’s Kopi Toast Bakery

Toby’s Kopi Toast Bakery is a homely cafe situated along Boon Lay Way, serving local delights, western mains and desserts. It’s a short bus ride away from Jurong East or Clementi MRT, and it’s worth the trip cause it’s a nice place to chill with your friends over some good and affordable food - all prices are nett! The [Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice ($6.90)] was huge and very filling! The curry was Hainanese style, with the thick brown gravy carrying a little sweetness and a little spice. The chicken cutlet surprisingly retained its crisp for quite some time, and the crumbs on the skin were delicious! The cabbage was also really crunchy and sweet 😋 I also enjoyed the [BBQ Baby Ribs ($10.90)] as they was tender, and the sweet, savoury and sticky BBQ sauce went rather well with them! The fries were seasoned with some cajun spice and were quite tasty too! Save some space for dessert as their cakes are all made in house!
