Authentic Vietnamese Food at Le Saigon Cafe

Le Saigon Cafe is a new cafe serving up authentic Vietnamese cuisine, just a short walk from Bugis MRT along Liang Seah Street 🚶🏻The cozy decor, friendly staff and delicious food brought Vietnam to me ☺️ I was enticed by the extensive menu, with unique offerings that are not commonly found in Singapore! The [Le Saigon Pho Premium ($29.80)] pho set comfortably feeds 2, with a generous portion of tender meat cuts and rice noodles served separately, and accompanied by a bowl of warm, flavourful and comforting soup 🍜 I was in love with the [Viet Fried Spring Rolls ($6.80)] 😍 It stayed amazingly light and crisp (that outer layer was so crunchy) and was packed with fillings - this is a must order! The [Mini Golden Chicken Pillow ($12.80)] dish was a plate of yellow glutinous rice balls stuffed with shredded chicken, carrots and mushrooms, and then fried for that nice crisp exterior ✨ Not bad, and very filling as each pillow was quite substantial. I ended the meal with their refreshing [King Durian Jackfruit Dessert ($9.80)], that had cute dolphin jellies 🐬 among the mountain of toppings and frozen fruits 🍓 The durian is mixed in with the ice, so its taste is not as strong as the jackfruit! I also tried their [Hot Viet Sweet Coffee ($4.80)], served traditionally with a phin filter.
