Tasty Taiwanese Food at 8 Degrees

8 Degrees is a cozy cafe that sells Taiwanese food and bubble tea! I visited their newest outlet at Sembawang, but they also have outlets in Serangoon and Jalan Besar. The mains are affordably priced, with portions that are filling! [Pork Belly Rice ($6+)] This is one of the best Lu Rou Fans I’ve tried in Singapore with the perfect lean to fat meat ratio. The braised sauce seeps into the rice nicely, making the dish flavourful but not too salty 😋 [Scallion Oil Chicken Rice ($6+)] This is a must try as the shredded chicken strips are very tender and fragrant when coated with scallion oil! The sauce is very flavourful, so do mix it well with the rice. [Chitterling Mee Sua ($6+)] The mee sua here is more soupy than starchy, giving it a nice light and clean finish. They are very generous with the intestines, and they also offer alternatives like oyster and chicken.
