Taizhou | Seeking Spring at Tiande Lake

In March, by the Tiande Lake, new willows try on their spring attire, their green branches adorned with smoky clouds, their drooping tassels fishing for fallen petals in the clear waves. February orchids spread layers of purple, while small-leaf plums bear stars all over their branches, and the flowering plum dances with endless charm. The most wonderful sight is the magnolia blossoms, shyly inviting the clouds to share their rosy hue, holding their cups to welcome the spring. The spring breeze suddenly becomes a perfumer, blending the colors of the garden into a fragrance even richer than the fish soup of Qintong. "Such a pity to disturb the tranquility of the stream, let's not crush the jade-like melody," Su Shi's light ink washes over the traces of spring, turning the garden's beauty into footnotes of his poems.
