[From Ishigaki Island to Taketomi Island! Relaxing time on a remote island]

While on a trip to Ishigaki Island, we also visited Taketomi Island! It's only a 10-minute ferry ride from Ishigaki Port, but it was like another world where time seemed to flow slowly. The sea around Taketomi Island was simply beautiful, and I was moved by its crystal clear blue color! The contrast with the white sandy beach was truly beautiful. I also tried riding a water buffalo cart for the first time! I was soothed by the sound of the sanshin and stories about the island from the guide as we were rocked on the back of the slowly moving cow, and enjoyed a relaxing time to the fullest. The whole island had a laid-back atmosphere, and I felt like my mind was naturally calming down while sightseeing. It was a wonderful island that made me think that next time I'd like to come and stay for a longer period of time! A zero-yen spring trip
