City Pillar Shrine, Trat

🏝Trat is another coastal city in the eastern part of Thailand that is worth exploring. It is a community of Thais and Chinese people since ancient times. 🎎Trat City Pillar Shrine is a city pillar shrine that is different from other places because it is a "Chinese pavilion" architecture. It was built by King Taksin the Great.. ⛩️It has a miraculous history as follows: when the French came to power in Siam, they saw Thai people worshiping the city pillar shrine. So they tried to dig up the city pillar. Even though they used 🐘 to pull the pillar, they could not pull it up. 🎊Every 6th day of the 6th lunar month, there is a celebration called "Pli Mueang" or..Wan Siakong Saiyut City Pillar Shrine is like the center of the hearts of Trat people and connects Thai-Chinese relations.
