It takes about 15 minutes to get to the entrance to the mountain. The reason you can't drive up by yourself is because the road is very steep and dangerous. It's better to hire a four-wheel drive driver to sit and relax. 😅 When you reach the entrance to the mountain, you have to walk up for about 300 meters. Phu Chi Dao is about 1,800 meters high (higher than Phu Chi Fa and Doi Pha Tang). The path up is a bit steep. If you don't exercise often, you might get tired. I recommend bringing a bottle of water. For beginners, there are poles to help you walk up. You can walk up comfortably and leisurely. Once you reach the top, it's worth it. The air up there is cool and comfortable. You can sit and rest until you're no longer tired. You can take pictures. And enjoy the atmosphere that is definitely unlike any other. On top, there are long wooden chairs for you to sit and rest.
