Ticket Information - Square Cave Ticket: 40 yuan - Lingyan Entrance Ticket: 50 yuan - Combined ticket is more cost-effective, only 80 yuan - Locals can travel for free, I’m really jealous! Play time It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Fangdong Scenic Area and about 90 minutes to walk to Lingyan Scenic Area. But everyone will definitely walk, look around and take photos while playing. The total time is estimated to be about 3 hours, so remember to arrange your time reasonably before traveling. Transportation It is recommended to arrive at Lingyan Scenic Area first, and then transfer to the scenic area minibus at the entrance of the scenic area (charged from January 1, 2025, 10 yuan/person). You can take the minibus directly to Fangdong Scenic Area, which is convenient and fast. Attractions Fangdong Scenic Area Stepping onto the plank road carved out of the cliffs, you can take in the beautiful scenery of the endless mountains. Below the mountains, green fields, scattered villages and winding roads are intertwined, forming a beautiful pastoral picture. There are two cliff coffee shops in the scenic area, which are very popular among tourists and many people check in and take photos. After walking across the iron chain bridge, walk for about 10 minutes and you will reach the intersection of the Lingyan Scenic Area ticket office (going up) and Yangtian Lake (going down). This is where your tour of the Fangdong Scenic Area ends. Lingyan Scenic Area After passing the Yeongam ticket office, you will reach the peak after a short uphill climb. Standing on the top of the mountain and looking into the distance, your vision instantly becomes broader, and you feel a sense of grandeur as if all the mountains are small. The magnificent scenery before your eyes is so magnificent that even a camera cannot capture it perfectly. The tour route passes through: Wolong Plank Road ➡️Glass Plank Road ➡️Wolong Pond ➡️Broken Heart Cliff ➡️Xiaolongqiu ➡️Lingyan Temple. The small square next to Lingyan Temple is the officially recommended viewing spot for the flying ferry performance, but you can also watch it on the plank road down the mountain. The performance times are 10:30 in the morning and 15:30 in the afternoon. Don't miss this wonderful performance. Tips Choice of travel direction: If you want to experience the fun of mountain climbing, it is also feasible to enter from Lingyan Scenic Area and exit from Fangdong Scenic Area in the opposite direction. However, the whole journey is uphill and consumes a lot of physical energy. You can choose according to your needs. Situation of Yangtian Lake: Yangtian Lake, located at the intersection of two scenic spots, is just an ordinary little lake with no special sightseeing spots, so there is no need to go there specially. Features of the tour route: Fangdong and Lingyan are basically single-threaded tours. If you get tired during the tour, you can only return by the original route. You should consider your physical strength when planning your itinerary. Seasonal landscape differences: There is insufficient rainfall in Yandang Mountain in autumn and winter, and Xiaolongqiu has little water, so you cannot see the waterfall. It is recommended to visit during the flood season. Suggested visiting time: Due to the obstruction of the mountain, most scenic spots in Lingyan will not have sunlight after 13:30. It is better to visit in the morning and take better photos. Drinking water facilities: There are automatic water dispensers along the scenic area.
