Let's introduce a lesser-known destination in Guilin, Ziyuan Tianmen Mountain! First of all, this Tianmen Mountain is not the one in Hunan, but a national 3A scenic spot, national forest park, national geological park, located in the northern part of Ziyuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi. Tianmen Mountain dominates the Zijiang River, and the mountain shape is like a gate open to the sky. It covers an area of 10 square kilometers and is composed of Baihui Valley, West Line Sky, Fairy Village and Peach Blossom Island. It is a typical Danxia landform, different from the mountain type on the side of the Lijiang River in Guilin. Many light red stone pillars in the scenic area stand upright at 90 degrees, which monkeys can't climb and birds are shocked to see. Guilin is famous for its karst landforms, while Ziyuan Tianmen Mountain is a genuine Danxia landform.
