Hotel is really good but the only bad point is the lift, the elevator is always busy since there are offices in the hotel whole building and 3 elevators are not enough , you can be waiting the elevator for 10/15min before entering. The staff is helpful and everything was ok during my stay apart that the first day I received a room that was much smaller than the one I paid for

Seya Hotel (Jiefangbei Branch) truly exceeded my expectations in so many ways; it's definitely the kind of place I'd happily return to. First and foremost, I have to commend the personalized butler service – it was incredibly thoughtful and thorough. Both Kang Kang and Xinyuan were attentive and quick to respond, handling everything from check-in to daily requests with such care that I felt truly looked after. Room service was equally excellent, with great attention to cleanliness and detail. The location is another huge plus. It's right near Jiefangbei, and just a short walk to Bayi Road Food Street, offering an endless array of snacks. Reputable spots like Zhangji Xinglong are also nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The room amenities are impressive too – a powerful Bluetooth speaker, a private spa, and a massive 100-inch 4K projector with access to a wide selection of movies and the latest TV shows. Staying in at night was never boring; the experience was fantastic. And I highly recommend trying their Storm Spa; it's an absolute must-do that really elevates the entire stay. Overall, this hotel surpassed my expectations in terms of service, location, and facilities. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely be staying here again.

The building is on the corner of the block and shares with different brands, currently the receptionist are in levek 4. The room is nice, clean, and spacious. However, the mirror near the bathtub can cause dizziness as it's not a normal flat mirror. The bed is also a bit hard for our liking. However, the plus for this place is it's super close to Mountain City Alley. Also, they give you some.e local snacks and a magnet, which are very appreciated as tourists. If I want to stay in that area again, I would come back to this place. The front desk staff are also highly responsive via WeChat. This hotel was awesome! Great location and the view from the room did not disappoint. The fitout was super cute and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the automatic curtains were a great feature. In the lobby they also offered free tea and coffee which was a lifesaver in the mornings!

The location is absolutely fantastic! So convenient for getting everywhere! The people in Chongqing are genuinely kind and welcoming! I'll definitely be back! Coincidentally, the hotel's air conditioning was under maintenance, so we didn't have AC for the three days we stayed. It was a bit cool in the mornings and evenings, and the room felt a bit stuffy. It's a suite and quite spacious! It was perfect for three girls. It comes with a fridge, washing machine, and dryer. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and all the amenities are mid-to-high end. There's even a bathtub for soaking, which is amazing, but they don't even advertise it! I loved it so much! The high-floor view is also pretty good, and the cleanliness was acceptable.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from the window was amazing. The air conditioning worked amazing. The toilet had heated seats and the shower was hot with strong water pressure. The lady at reception was super helpful and friendly. She helped me with ordering food and finding my way around. The location is right above Hongya cave, super easy to get around and find food nearby. 100% loved my time there and would stay there again.

Seriously, once you're in, you won't want to leave! And the giant projection screen? Watching movies from under the covers is pure bliss! 🎬 The hotel's high-rise buffet breakfast is also incredible. Imagine enjoying pasta, egg tarts, and fresh fruit while gazing at Raffles City and the Yangtze River – the view is absolutely stunning. Plus, the bar offers special concoctions for your morning coffee and evening drinks. ☕️🥂 📍 **Location & Transportation** It's right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central area, super close to Hongyadong and Bayi Delicious Street, both within walking distance. Downstairs, you'll find a shopping district with everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping. For a trip to Chongqing, staying here is incredibly convenient! You absolutely must experience InterContinental at least once! You'll get to soak in all the romance and prosperity of this mountain city in one go. 🌉

✔ The hotel is very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around (the subway entrance is right next to the building downstairs). ✔ It's about a 15-minute walk to Jiefangbei. ✔ There are several shopping malls nearby, so it's convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. ✔ They offer a free parcel receiving service. ✔ A hairdryer is provided. ✔ You can ask the front desk for extra bottled water. ✔ There's a free laundry service (but you might have to wait in line). ✔ The shower and toilet are separate, which is more convenient to use. ⚠️【Minor drawbacks / Things to note】 ❗ The clothes hanger in the shower area isn't ideal; I recommend leaving your clothes outside to avoid them getting wet. ❗ There are only two elevators, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. ❗ You can store your luggage for free after check-out.

The location is excellent, as the hotel is situated right above Raffles City Mall in Chongqing. It is very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around the city. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It even comes with a washing machine and washing powder, which was a big plus for a longer stay. One unique highlight is the drone show on Saturdays. You can head to the Level 1 outdoor platform to watch it. The platform is spacious and feels quite private for hotel guests, so you don’t have to squeeze with the large crowds at the public viewing areas. Just note that the view is reversed because the show faces the opposite side of the river, but it is still a fun experience. The hotel also provides free supper every night, which is a nice touch and adds extra value to the stay. Service was excellent throughout. The staff were very friendly, especially the security guard at the lower ground floor. There is a tall, middle-aged gentleman who is always smiling and extremely helpful. He assisted us in communicating with our Didi driver and even helped carry our luggage to the car when we left, which made a great impression. Overall, a highly recommended stay for anyone visiting Chongqing.

This five-star review is for the front desk lady and the butler – their service was truly excellent! We stayed for three consecutive nights, and when we needed to switch rooms, the butler coordinated everything, including our luggage. Their service was genuinely good. The gentleman on the third floor was also very warm and attentive. The only downside was that the room with an interior-facing window had a strong musty smell, and the bathroom floor drain seemed to have backflow, causing an unpleasant odor. However, considering the fantastic service from the front desk lady and the butler, a five-star rating is definitely deserved. Oh, and by the way, the lights in the atrium need to be replaced – they're so flickering they make your eyes dizzy! 😵💫 Haha.
