The room is OK, worth the price, but there is no air conditioning. I also blame myself for not checking carefully before booking. When I stayed there, it was the hottest few days. I was sweating every day. The hotel quickly bought a small fan to blow in the room.
Lovely hotel in the centre of St David’s. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. Everything about the hotel was perfect for a short stay. Highly recommend.
It's a place I stayed before crossing Ireland, but there is a pub and restaurant in the hotel, so it's very good to solve the evening. Warm water comes out well and there is a bathtub, so I get tired at night.
The travelodge at Pembroke docks was in a reasonable good site and the service was good, but it does advertise as you walk in that the wifi is FREE but you only get 30 minutes then you have to pay, this is cheaper if I use my own data from my supplier (which I did), if the wifi is not free it should advertise so.
Other than this, I would give it a 4 out of 10.
I chose this place because I planned to go on the Skomer Cruise and visit Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and it was convenient for catching a train to the Peak District afterward. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, with a bit of an uphill climb, which can be tiring if you're dragging luggage. There's a large Tesco about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is a century-old establishment; the rooms don't have an elevator, but the environment is decent. The hotel breakfast is very generous, featuring several authentic Welsh specialties to choose from. Considering such a rich breakfast, it's really great value for money. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, and the area felt a bit desolate (though that's pretty common across Europe).
We had the best experience staying at the property. Very clean and tidy. They even upgraded our rooms. Amazing receptionist, she gave us some recommendations for exploring. Well maintained swimming pool and sauna. Overall we had a good stay and will definitely visit again!
Lovely surroundings, excellent rooms, this is not a spa so please ask about facilities before booking, close to town and seaside, quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay.
Very good, relatively compact, but there is everything that should be there, and the room has air conditioning. The weather in the UK this year is very hot. Air conditioning solves many problems.

What a lovely stay at this hotel! The scenery here is absolutely stunning—whether it’s the view from the room or the surrounding landscapes, it’s such a feast for the eyes and makes the whole trip so enjoyable. The property is also immaculately clean everywhere, from the guest room, hallway to the public areas; the staff keeps everything tidy and well-maintained, which really adds to the comfortable and pleasant stay experience. A small note: the beer served here was just average, not particularly memorable in taste, which is the only tiny letdown during our stay. But overall, it’s still a great place to stay! Wishing this wonderful hotel and all the lovely staff a very Merry Christmas—may your days be filled with joy, warmth and all the festive cheer! 🎄
3 adults, stayed 2 nights in October. Room was great, clean, spacious and warm. Very comfy bed,, lovely shower. Sofa bed was already made up which was great as we arrived late after a very long drive. Only criticism was there were only 2 glasses and 2 cups in the room so had to go to reception for more which was down a long flight of stairs, no lift. Breakfast was ok, but confused by the price, advertised as £9.95 on the website but were charged £12 as told website hadn't been updated yet. Overall a perfect place for a few nights stay as price was the best around and very good location. Also reception area/bar is very well furnished and comfortable. Would stay again
Lovesgrove is a lovely place to stay. My partner and I were welcomed to friendly and happy owners who made our stay very comfortable. We came for one night for a wedding, we were able to check in a little earlier than planned and they were very accommodating. We were shown to our room - massive and spacious room with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was served with great customer service and we couldn’t fault the food as it was just right for what we needed to start our day. Debbie, David and David’s daughter (apologies I forgot your name) thank you for your fantastic service and we look forward to staying with you again.
Booked just to have a night away, all staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable, our room had a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs they have a happy hour from 4 pm to 7 pm open to non-residents too. Within 5 minutes' walking distance of the centre of Saundersfoot. Car parking at the back of the hotel. For breakfast you choose the night before, help yourself to tea/coffee juice and cereal. A full cooked breakfast was very tasty hot and fresh. Would recommend.
Stayed here for a short break to Saundersfoot and Tenby and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is ideal, just an easy 8-minute drive into the heart of Saundersfoot. There’s plenty of free parking and the staff are welcoming and helpful. While the rooms have a slightly traditional feel, they’re clean and excellent value for money. Free breakfast is also a great bonus! Overall, a comfortable stay at a great price – I’d happily return!

Exceptional services, friendly stuff and delicious food! We stayed one night after being married, the stuff upgraded our room to separate bungalow with a glass conservatory. There were also a lot of complimentary drinks. Very tidy and cosy. Really pleasantly impressed. Couldn’t wish more to that special day. Highly recommend!
Fantastic say, owner couldn’t do enough for us over our stay from service to politeness, it was a real hit with us and did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic from the spa to the evening restaurant , breakfast and everything else in between A hidden gem of a spa/hotel night stay which has all you need!
We had an amazing time with our young family. Stay in the main building but also we stay in the bell tent for the first time. Children have a great time making fire outside. The only things they complaint about is they felt cold in the morning as wood fire is off hours before.
Excellent location. Really clean kitchens and common areas. Friendly welcome. Quite remote which made it very peaceful. Close to cliff walks. Room was basic but fine for the price. Excellent value for money.
