Staying at Toyoko Inn was a fantastic experience. The hotel offers frequent, free shuttle service, making transfers to and from the airport incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a thoughtful layout of amenities. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch, and the front desk staff were highly efficient and professional. It's an ideal choice for a transit stay near Narita Airport.

This hotel is conveniently located near Narita Airport. After landing, I was picked up by a shuttle bus at platform 33 in Terminal 2 and arrived at the hotel smoothly. It's a large property with excellent facilities and the staff are very friendly. I was lucky enough to be checked in by a ********* girl at the front desk. They kindly stored my two large suitcases for free for 15 days, which was a huge relief and really took the burden off my Japan trip planning. Such thoughtful service! I didn't hesitate to book this hotel again for my last night in Japan. Even without Japanese or English, communication wasn't an issue, and the hygiene was also very good. It's super convenient for getting around; attractions are within walking distance, and the nearby supermarket even offers discounts on sashimi and set meals after 6 PM, which is a great deal.

It was a stress-free experience having booked at Narita Gateway Hotel. Its free shuttle bus ride going to Narita Station, Aeon Mall is commendable. It enabled us to save money on taxi fare and the saved money for transport was used to buy some souvenirs. Our stay at said hotel was made more pleasant by two staff at the hotel reception, one guy named Pun Sharti (to me, he was very approachable and attends to hotel guests with warmth and smile, too bad, we didn't see him when we checked out) and a female staff who likewise has a pleasant countenance but whose name we weren't able to get. Booking costs are cheaper than the others.

In addition, the hotel features a 24-hour convenience store, as well as a gym and an indoor swimming pool (available at an extra charge). As a long-established property, some room designs may feel slightly dated. However, for those who appreciate minimalism or cutting-edge modernity, this subtle retro charm may offer a pleasantly nostalgic experience.

Although I only stayed for one night, the facilities and service were so good that I wanted to stay a few more days. The staff were especially helpful. They explained everything in English and even called taxis to get me where I wanted to go. Breakfast is included, so you get a high-quality meal, which I highly recommend. The hot springs were quiet and perfect for relaxation. The 24-hour mini hot springs in the room were especially great for early mornings and early evenings.

As clean as it gets for a dated hotel. Truly needs refurbishment. Location is alright, shuttle bus provided for town access. Service as expected of Japanese hotel standard. Nice hotel garden with onsen. However please note, this is the first 4-star hotel that provided me with only 2 pillow for my room. Additional pillow requires charges. Though I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids.

There's also a 24-hour convenience store on the first floor, which is very convenient for tourists or business travelers staying in the new or old wing who are about to leave Tokyo.

This location is close to airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3. It's less than a 30-minute bus ride. They offer a complimentary shuttle bus from the airport or Narita train station to the hotel. For early morning departures, the bus from the airport starts after 6 AM, with the last bus around 11:30 PM. You can check the hotel or bus schedules online.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good, and I stay here often. However, the one downside is that they charge guests an additional 1,650 yen each time to use the swimming pool. Doesn't this tarnish the reputation of a big brand like Hilton? I'm already paying over 800 RMB for the room (without breakfast), and now they're tacking on extra charges for the pool. It feels like they're just obsessed with money, charging for every little thing. Is it really reasonable for a hotel to charge guests an additional fee to use their own pool during their stay? I hope hotel management takes this seriously.
