We didn’t go down the mountain until after dark. He knew we were going home so he waited for us at the roadside in advance. The room is next to the scenic spot. After we booked it, we called the front desk and they told us which parking lot was closer. It was indeed quite close. We parked in Parking Lot No. 1 and it only took us ten minutes to walk there. The room was very clean and it only took three to five minutes to walk to the scenic spot. The receptionist was very attentive and the room was fully equipped. I was very satisfied and will recommend friends to stay here in the future!

We were looking for a getaway from the city vacations and this is definitely the place. The room was clean and neat, towels changed every day. I was concerned about the meals not being up to our expectations, but I couldn't be more wrong. It's Chinese cuisine but not spicy as I expected and there's a big variety of dishes to choose from. A bit pricey though if you go on tight budget, but DELICIOUS. Breakfast, however was average, not many options, but coffee was decent. Bottom line a great experience, loved the pool and the attention from the staff was 10 out of 10. A big THANK YOU to all the hotel workers. Will be definitely recommending the place.

The service was fantastic. They were very prompt in their response to our requests. They provided us with kitchen tools when they knew we were intending to cook, and provided us with water when our water tap was not working. Even when we needed help with our online purchases, they were very willing to assist us. They were knowledgeable about the area. Incredible staff! The location is great. Walking distance to a shopping mall which had all your basic necessities, even the area of the apartment had a great variety of shops within the block (multiple food options, printing shop, bakery, supermarket, salon and foot massage shops less than 3min walk away). Easy to get a didi (grab/uber option in China) here as well.

Commune by the Great Wall is in a very nice location only about 30 minutes away from the Badaling section of the Great Wall. The staff here was extremely helpful, especially for someone who doesn't speak much Chinese. The area is pretty far removed from any other services or restaurants, so unless you have your own transportation, you will be mostly eating at the hotel. Luckily, the food is absolutely delicious and extremely well prepared at the restaurant offered by the hotel. It's also in a beautiful natural area with a lot of nice forested areas to explore right outside your hotel room. Yang was especially helpful and assisted me in getting a ticket and taxi to the Badaling Great Wall.

The house is spacious, with pleasant scenery. The hawthorn fruits are red and round. The children have a lot of fun playing with various vegetables, peppers and pumpkins in the vegetable garden. It is very close to the Badaling Great Wall and the Shuiguan Great Wall. There are trampolines and swings in the yard. The boss is very nice and said that you can pick hawthorns at will. The children picked some and made jam at home. We will come to play again next time!

Unique accommodation that carries vibes of ancient China, mesh with slight modern facilities, both interior as well as external features. Service was very good from kitchen staff, receptionist to cleaning ladies. They were friendly, cheerful and extend their help to us all the time. Shout out to the service crew, 筝筝，欣然，志勇 - excellent service, very warm greetings whenever we walk pass, and they voluntarily helped us with our heavy luggages up the stairs. Keep up the good work!

It's all about the location. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the cable car entrance or the footpath taking you up to the Wall. Booking into the hotel means that you can drive all the way up to the hotel and parking is free so you don't have to get on the shuttle bus. You can visit the Wall by night which is more much comfortable and less crowded than during the day. Alternatively, as you are right at the entrance you can get up early and avoid the crowds. You can buy tickets for the cable car at the hotel (CNY20 each) and entrance to the Wall if you're walking up is already included in your room rate. The hotel itself is spread over a number of buildings and there is a decently maintained kids playground in the complex. The reception staff were very helpful when it came to getting tickets and so on. Rooms are basic but big enough and clean enough. Breakfast was typical for a hotel at this room rate. Overall, excellent value and with the playground and how easy it is to visit the Wall, a great choice for families. Lots of steps between the buildings, so bring a couple of small suitcases instead of one big one.

It's very comfortable to stay in this hotel. It's very comfortable. It's a very good choice. It's clean, hygienic, cheap and affordable. I especially like the huge bathroom! The boss is very enthusiastic and even provides drinks. I will be my first choice in the future. It is worth recommending. You can enter the pit. The transportation is very convenient. There are buses downstairs and the subway is also very close.
