The room was spotless, small but perfectly formed, and very thoughtfully designed – we had a really comfortable stay. It's super convenient for exploring, with easy access to transport and plenty of small eateries. The whole street is lined with old 'Siheyuan' courtyard houses, which gives it a lot of local character. According to the staff, the hotel building itself is actually a heritage site, the former residence of Mr. Ji Xiaolan – hoping some of his wisdom rubbed off on my son! 😊 We also got to participate in a Dragon Boat Festival activity and made sachets. Very satisfied with everything; the service was excellent, all the staff were polite and proactive, and the complimentary tea and pastries were beautiful. Breakfast was also outstanding. Highly recommended.

The hotel is actually older than expected. I chose this one because it clearly states that an airport shuttle service and a laundry room are available. I also double-checked to confirm they have a dryer, as I have a week’s worth of laundry to deal with during this layover. Unfortunately, the dryer did not work at all, and I ended up sitting beside it for two hours. And I had to resort to other slow methods to dry my clothes. On the upside, there is a Peking duck restaurant right next door, the airport shuttle is available, the bathroom hairdryer is powerful, and complimentary bottled water is provided.

We brought our kids to Beijing for the May Day holiday. After a long search, we settled on this hotel and were very satisfied. 1. **Excellent Location:** It's located near Longfu Temple, very close to Dongsi Station (Metro Lines 5/6) and National Art Museum Station (Metro Line 8). We walked to Jingshan Park and Wangfujing. You can also enjoy a city walk around Dongsi. 2. **Spacious Room:** Our room was quite large, probably around 40 square meters. Finding such a spacious room in this location is a rarity. 3. **Well-Equipped Facilities:** The hotel has excellent facilities, including a microwave, induction cooktop, and toaster (though we didn't use them). The most convenient feature is the washing machine, which also has a dryer! This was incredibly helpful. I've used washing machines with dryers in other hotels before, and sometimes they don't dry completely or leave clothes very wrinkled. This washing machine's 3-hour and 10-minute drying cycle dried everything thoroughly and with minimal wrinkles. Thumbs up! What's even more thoughtful: the hotel provides laundry detergent (we didn't know this beforehand and bought our own). 4. **Friendly Staff:** The staff were warm and welcoming. You can also add the butler on WeChat for easy inquiries about basic matters. If you order takeout, a robot will even deliver it to your room, so you don't have to go downstairs to pick it up. 5. **Room for Improvement:** If there's one minor thing that could be improved, it would be the attention to detail in the cleaning. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, truly breathtaking. From the moment you step in, you're captivated. It looks small from the outside, but the interior design is incredibly spacious and unique. The courtyard extends downwards, adding a lot of space and functionality, and even the rooftops are thoughtfully designed. Yet, the overall style seamlessly blends with the surrounding *hutong* (traditional alleyways). The heating in the room was excellent, keeping it very warm even in the dead of winter. It was never cold, even after a shower. The hotel has 12 rooms, each named after a month of the year – seemingly whimsical, but full of character. The staff were very friendly and patient. It was a fantastic stay.

For our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄 The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays.

The customer service lady was quite nice, but I do have some issues with the guesthouse: 1. Check-in time was 2 PM, but when we arrived, the room wasn't ready yet. We had to wait another half an hour for them to finish cleaning. 2. The pillows on the bed were too flat, and the bed itself was too soft, making it uncomfortable. 3. And this is the most important point: there's no need to stay overnight in this Chestnut Village. It's tiny, and even the 'mini waterfall stream' is artificial 😂. You can finish exploring and taking pictures in just an afternoon. Also, food is very expensive here; an ice cream costs 68. Although the restaurant is a bit pricey, the food itself is actually quite good. 4. There are a lot of people with dogs, and they tend to pee all over the restaurant. There's really no point in bringing kids here, as there are practically no facilities for children.

Rosewood Beijing is my top choice when visiting Beijing, especially as a Trip.com Black Diamond member. The hotel offers numerous exclusive benefits, including room upgrades, late check-out, and welcome fruits. Even with high occupancy, they proactively upgraded me to a Grand View Room facing the China Zun and CCTV Tower, which I was very pleased with. This is my second stay at a Rosewood property. As the first Rosewood in mainland China, it's not as new as the Guangzhou location, having opened in 2014, but the service and quality remain consistently excellent! I also enjoyed the Executive Lounge; the service was fantastic, and the champagne was delicious.

I finally got to stay in the Luna Starry Sky Room I'd been longing for! The entire room was decorated with a dreamy blue starry sky theme, and there were magical little details everywhere—retro lanterns, Hedwig, a floating broom, a miniature Hogwarts castle—you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The toiletries were very complete, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It's also very close to Universal Studios. I've already recommended it to my friends; this is definitely the top choice for any trip!

I specifically brought my kids to Universal Studios and decided to stay here for two nights. I debated for a long time whether to stay at a Universal hotel or nearby, and I'm so glad I chose this place. Upon arrival, I thought the hotel was particularly beautiful and very new. Check-in was on the eighth floor. From the floor-to-ceiling windows on the eighth floor, you can get a really clear view of Hogwarts Castle. We were given a corner room on the tenth floor, which was very quiet, though a bit of a walk from the elevator. The room had two 1.3-meter beds, which was enough for me and my two kids. There's also a capsule coffee machine in the room, so I could make coffee in the morning. I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast because we woke up late. The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to Universal Studios, and right next door is the Wangfujing Bayland shopping mall, which is huge. You can walk directly through the hotel's third floor to the mall, which is incredibly convenient and keeps you out of the sun. Back to the room: it has two small vanity sinks, so families don't have to crowd. The toilet and shower are separate, but the water pressure in the shower was too low, possibly because we were on the 10th floor. I hope they can improve this; showering wasn't a great experience. On the top floor, there's a bar that's beautiful at night, but they don't allow minors, even for dining, which was a shame. I took the kids up to see the view but we had to go back to the room. There's also a Sichuan restaurant on the 10th floor. The reception area on the eighth floor has a section for hotel afternoon tea, which overlooks the Universal Studios park. There's a swimming pool on the 10th floor. It's not a huge area, but it's quite lovely. I went to take a look but didn't swim. I asked, and it closes at 10:30 PM. After check-out, you can store your luggage on the first floor and then go shopping at the mall. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money. Staying here for Universal Studios means you save enough money to buy an Express Pass, which is fantastic!

The experience of staying at Gubei Zen Courtyard is great. It is very cost-effective to visit Gubei Water Town. The courtyard is beautiful and simple, surrounded by flowers and plants. The owner's care can be felt in every detail. The hygiene is particularly clean and tidy, especially the bedding is absolutely comfortable. The female boss is very nice and took us to see the 3,500-year-old ancient cypress nearby. There is a small stream not far from the entrance of the courtyard where children can play in the water. It takes only 5 minutes to drive to Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall. I watched the drone show at night. It's so convenient! It is worth recommending to friends to stay here. I will stay here again when I come to Gubei Water Town next time.
