The Travelodge Devizes Hotel is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Devizes, having been recently opened in 2025. Melksham is located approximately 16km away and Bristol Airport around 51km away. This hotel is located near many of Devizes's attractions including Wiltshire Museum, Long Street Blues Club and Maryport Street Baptist Chapel. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
A very convenient hotel in town, with a good location, close to everything, but there is no elevator, and it is a bit difficult to drag the suitcase upstairs.
The hotel was well located as we visited friends in nearby Wootton Basset - reception was courteous and efficient in our check in… we asked for a room way from the lifts and this request was delivered.
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly given it’s been a very hot few days!
Breakfast the following morning had plenty choices and tables were clean and cleared up quickly. Staff in restaurant were very efficient and courteous. Express check- in was good too. Overall a great stay and serves us well.
A treasure hotel found during the trip is highly recommended to everyone. The hotel room looks better than the official website photo. The food in the hotel restaurant is very delicious. The environment is clean and tidy and well equipped. It is about an hour's drive from Water Burton and Baybury. Entering the town is like breaking into a paradise in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, because the itinerary is tight, otherwise you can consider staying a few more nights and exploring the beautiful food in the nearby area.
This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.
In particular, there is no reception, I did not notice it anywhere when booking. But the room was really very fine. The beds absolutely super, fine shower (shared with 1 next room, though), warm floor, really clean and clean. The room was a small refrigerator for breakfast and drinks, and what was a pity was that the restaurant was empty and closed, and had been eaten elsewhere and that was good for us. The location is close to the main street with shops and buses. Although there is no reception, really recommend. You come in with a code. Also for your room. So you can't lose cards or keys. I'm very happy.
Hotel was perfectly located for where I wanted to be. Overall good experience, there is a Trainline behind the accommodation which was noisy and noticeable but not enough to disturb my sleep. Room was lovely and cosy and decor was excellent. Shower was fantastic, evening food was ok but nothing special, breakfast was excellent
Lovely hotel, polite and friendly staff, ample parking, excellent location in the heart of town. Only negative is the stains on the bathroom walls that could easily be removed with a little more attention to detail and the cold tap hardly let out any water. Unfortunately there wasn't any real ale available whilst we were there thus stopping us from enjoying that facility.

Very Good
LLisaLouWhat an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days
EEujene LiyuWe were there for one night. Service was okay, breakfast was good, although other guests were acting as if they were deprived of any food for days and the poor staffs were struggling to replenish the trays. Other than that, all good.
