Combo Hostel, Bologna Approx 15 min walk from train station. Utilitarian in a cool, funky way. VERY bright colours in the corridors. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice, reasonably priced bar with indoor and outdoor garden seating areas. Excellent breakfast. Rooms clean and spacious. Laundry with two washing machines, two dryers, two airers and iron/ironing board. Would definitely stay again

Le petit déjeuner servi à l’hôtel est extraordinaire : énormément de choix de viennoiseries, fruits frais et autres légumes, jambons et fromages frais. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel proche de la gare de Bologna. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

The hotel is about a 15-20 minute ride from airport The staff is friendly and accommodating the rooms are clean and comfortable breakfast is bigger than most and had lots of good variety and huge pastry selection with fruits and fresh squeezed OJ Lots of shopping and a wonderful restaurant nearby that our party of 14 really enjoyed Miraville Not as pricey as other cities and so quaint. Bologna city center more crowded, graffiti and not as clean. It has the tallest leaning tower in the world and you can climb all 498 steps. only 5 euro Very warm june and humid but at top of tower there was a nice beeeze

The hotel surpassed our expectations. We were on a road trip around the region and decided to find somewhere to stop, away from the hustle and bustle of the big towns. What a find! The rooms were clean and comfortable with convenient amenities like kitchenette, washing machine and dryer.

It takes five minutes to take a taxi from the hotel to the hotel We took a taxi and three pieces of luggage and it took us about twelve chance encounters Those who want to take the bus can go to piazza Cavalli. If the bus ticket remains unchanged, one yuan two to one five yuan per person The room can have an extra bed and the location is very good right in the center of the city there is a parking lot at the door The hotel should be considered a relatively modern hotel in Europe I used to eat in the restaurant on the roof and the first floor of this hotel when I was at school in piacenza Stayed for two days on this tour The hotel is very good and the facilities are relatively complete Afternoon tea or appetivo, you can choose to go to the top of the building The scenery is really nice It's a pity that the suites are all booked during this stay really like I hope I can live in a suite next time.

Parma is actually a lot of Chinese, but it is estimated that many are businessmen, and there are very few tourists, so the traffic is not developed. On the contrary, the hotel is conveniently located on the right hand side of the train station, paying attention to the store and blocking the tree. The girl at the front desk is a bit like the Eurasian girl. She is not only eager to stay in time, but also asks if I want to eat breakfast, very generous, and the cook who is early is also more polite. The room is spacious, just the elevator needs to be familiar.

We stayed here at the hight of Covid, and had the worse dinner and breakfast of any hotel we had ever stayed at, ie a microwaved pizza and breakfast pastry’s/bread 4 or 5 days old. I am so glad to say things have changed. We had a hot and tasty meal. Not gourmet, ( I don’t think residents of Parma would use it) but fuel for our journey. Not expensive. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast staff spoke good English which is not typical, and one of them even asked us if we had every we needed, and could she get us anything. Everything was nice and fresh and a good selection. You could have breakfast outside if you wished. As before the receptionist were very good, and the room also excellent, a very reasonable size. Suitable for more then a one day stay. Since our terrible experience we have been staying many times at the Hotel Real Fine Baia del Re in Modena, which has the most wonderful restaurant which the locals do use. But the hotel was fully booked. So, we have a choice in future.

It is very close to Modena Station, so it is very convenient at the same time. It is very easy to travel on the same day when traveling to Modena because the station is close. It's hard to catch a taxi in the early morning or early morning, but the station is close, so it's easy to get to the hotel without a taxi. Cleanliness and facilities breakfast are also good among nearby hotels. Parking is also available. Very satisfied.

DO NOT STAY HERE the photos here are fake. Our room has wallpaper hanging off the wall. We have a bath that has no plug and there is a shower head in the bath but the holder has snapped and there is no shower curtain. therefore no way of washing ourselves properly. The phone is hanging off the wall in the bathroom with all the wires exposed so a massive danger hazard when in a bathroom with a shower with no shower curtain and hold for the shower hose. There are holes in the wall and the room smells like there has been people smoking in it previously even though we are in a no smoking room. completely and utterly not worth the £100 a night we have payed for this. When we have gone to the staff to politely ask for a new room they are rude and honestly don’t really care. On a previous review coming from June 2023, people stayed in the same room as us and had the same complaints with the exact same photos as ours, when they complained they got told that the room was getting maintenance done and there was nothing they could do. Clearly a lie as the same issues are still there a year later. Just have a scroll to see for yourself.

Two stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

The location is perfect, the hotel is nice. I arrived earlier and asked for a early check in but they said it was not possibile and I was waiting on the sofa. Nobody informed me when the room could be ready to get in.. and when I asked it was actually ready. A pity as someone could notice me about that and not letting me waiting there in the hall… the rest all ok!

One battle hardened Fathers birthday gift from his children , hasten to add 21 and 25 . Having had no input was very apprehensive on what they had booked . All apprehension disappeared the moment I stepped into the hotel . Firstly deal with the ”big one” re the reviews , Location. Yes the hotel is walkable 30 to 40 minutes away from the centre. With young kids wouldn't reccomend it. Neighbourhood where the hotel is situated is residential but totally fine . We returned most nights around midnight and no.probs . Bus number 25 is 2 min walk from the hotel , pointed out by the two helpful girls on reception. A euro odd and 20 mins in the city or 15 mins outside the train station. Runs on time. So no issues. Hotel itself is lovely and modern . Elegant and stylish . The reception area nice and clean and always was greeted jovially by various staff at point of entry and exit throughout the day. Always on hand to give advice and information. First night , the girls on reception pointed out a local Italian eatery 5 mins away and boy where we blown away by the food . They reccomended taxis , travel tips etc etc .So superb and thanks all. The rooms are lovely , spacious, clean and filled with everything you need for your stay and everything works . Iron , safe , hair dryer , minibar etc etc didn't need anything other than what was provided . Bathroom is a shower room and again everything was clean , toiletries provided together with ample towels. Claudia the cleaner , never met or saw you but thanks for making the bed and keeping things neat and tidy . Breakfast is a subtle and functional affair. Don't expect the great British fry up . What is offered is the usual items with a touch of class. The standard fare is plenty . At this point I must commend the staff Superb , attentive and could not do enough . Pierre Paulo who manned the breakfast department, showing you to your table each morning, armed with a smile and casual yet professional manner was exceptional although he is an Arsenal fan - kidding. Hats off and thanks from all of us Pierre , I'm sure you'll know who we are. Drinks at the bar are.pricey , only gripe BUT there is a superstore 5 minutes around the corner to stock up if you need . So what else can I say besides book it.

A clean basic hotel close to Bologna. Great free parking space which is the reason we picked the hotel and also to be close to the airport. We took a bus to the centre which was very easy and took around 20 minutes. The bus stop is within 5-minute walking distance next to the Casalecchio di Reno train station. Trains didnt operate from this station for some reason and we noticed the bus lines had holiday schedules in August too. We bought our bus tickets from a tabaccheria that is located on the left side of the street when walking towards the station/bus stop which was handy.

Lovely, comfortable, modern room. Great Wi-Fi, good choice of items at breakfast. Staff were very accommodating at keeping our bags as were were too early to check in. Well situated for the centre and the train station. Very pleasant stay.

My room was spotlessly clean, good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Breakfast had a lovely range of pasties, salami, cheese, rolls, cereals, fruit juice and amazing coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful despite my language barrier. Room had a fridge in which was particularly helpful as the temperatures outside when I was there was 35 degrees. It was lovely to come back to a cool room after a long walk. I would highly recommend the restaurant across the road for the tastiest meal and friendly service - La Nuova Fraschetta

Fabulous location. You can walk everywhere. Very spacious 2 room suite with large bathroom with shower/tub. Traditional Italian decor - local feeling. We had the Suite Piazza Maggiore on the 5th floor. You can see view over to Piazza Maggiore. Easy taxi dropoff and pickup for arrival and departure.
