Spent five nights here at around Easter time, visiting my relatives living nearby. Hotel is a hidden gem - really beautiful, ancient, quiet; with magnificent panoramic view of Rome, esp at night. Staff are all very nice, friendly and provide help whenever required. Breakfast is fine, not much in variety but for me it's good enough. will certainly come again when I next visit Rome/grottaferrata.

Room Decor: Typical Rome hotel style. The room isn't actually in the main building (confirm this when booking); it's in a neighboring residential building. It's relatively spacious, with a high window that offers little to no view outside, only good for ventilation. Soundproofing is terrible; at night, you can clearly hear conversations, hairdryers, and toilet flushing from next door. Bedding and Towels: Normal, comfortable, and clean. Location: While advertised as being in Plaza de España, it's actually on a hill. You need to take an elevator from the metro exit to the street above. The hotel didn't email us directions beforehand, causing me to get lost following Google Maps. I ended up carrying a large suitcase up about four flights of stairs at night. When I called the hotel, the front desk said there was only one person available and they couldn't come to meet me. Although they apologized afterward, it was still a huge inconvenience. I can't believe this is the kind of service you get for 2000 euros. Recommendation: Definitely take a taxi to the hotel. There's about a four-story difference between the ground-level plaza and the street above Plaza de España. Although there's an elevator from the metro exit, you might not be able to find it without knowing the route, and the hotel didn't inform me beforehand. It's worth noting that the elevator closes late at night. I stayed two nights, and both times I had to climb a long flight of stairs to get back to the hotel because the elevator was closed. If you don't mind climbing stairs, you can ignore this.

Great location, near the train station, service was also good. The main door is not obvious, is it beside the Viet restaurant. Need to press the door bell to open. Enter the main door and take the lift to level 1 to the reception. We took the ”private” outdoor terrace at level 2, and loved it. Wasn't bothered about the noise from the tram. We can hardly hear it.

The hotel is very well-maintained, and the service is excellent. Stefhany checked me in at the front desk, and it was a very quick process; she was incredibly friendly. I was able to store my luggage while waiting for my room to be ready at 3 PM. Although the area outside isn't the best, with some questionable individuals due to its proximity to the terminal, there was always security nearby, and police patrols were frequent. The rooms were quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. It's located two blocks from Termini, and there's a bus station very close by, which made getting around easy, especially when returning late at night.

Very well placed, just next to the Termini Station, in a very calm and safe street. Big hotel, 6 floors. Restaurant and bar on the top floor with a nice terrace and view. Nice decoration. A lot of large and cozy spaces where to sit in the public area. Great breakfast. Rooms are correct for the price. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is close to Termini Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. **Accessibility:** It's a 6-minute walk from the station, making it easy to get to the Vatican and Colosseum. **Service:** The staff were friendly, but I had booked a twin room and was initially given a double. I had to go to the front desk to get it changed. **Cleanliness:** Everything was satisfactory, including the bed sheets. **Facilities:** The room itself was decent, but the shower stall was too small, making it difficult to move around. Also, the showerhead was facing the wrong direction.

The location is spot on! It’s not far to walk to anywhere from this hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants around so easy to find a lovely evening meal. The breakfast was simple but I enjoy that. There was fruit, eggs, pastries, bread, coffee and juice laid out each morning. The room is very basic and small. I understand that the pictures online and the rooms can vary, but this was very different to what we thought we had booked online. The balcony is very small and just a simple view of the nearby roofs. But the bed was extremely comfortable, I had a great nights sleep every night. The reception staff were helpful with everything and gave us great advise about travelling around Rome. This was a great place to stay if you’re only using to the room sleep.

The service was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean! However, the location was difficult to find, and the system required calling the front desk upon arrival to unlock the door. Since my mobile phone plan didn't allow international calls, I had some trouble. Please be aware of this.

Hotel Seiler truly exceeded my expectations! It was spotless, the rooms were warm and stylish, the environment was elegant and comfortable, allowing me to relax completely; the staff were exceptionally attentive and responsive; and the facilities were excellent. Staying here in Rome was incredibly worthwhile, highly recommended!

The open-air bar on the top floor of the hotel is nice; the soundproofing of the room is not very good. When I first lived on the first floor, I felt like I was sleeping on the street. The noise was very noisy. It was much better after I moved to the fourth floor; the overall location is good, located on the commercial street, close to the Pantheon, fountain, and Spanish Square, and can be reached in more than ten minutes on foot; but it is a little far from the subway station, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to it

EElva LuoThe room is clean, people are very comfortable, good breakfast! The hotel is antique but they have been well treated, inside the bathroom finds the toothpaste, dental stick, soap, etc. There is no mini bar. The night is very quiet. The area near the University, there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, very easy to add to the bus, metro. Excellent quality- price, I advise you!

GGuest UserAs always, this hotel is a sure bet. The staff are kind and professional, and the breakfast is superb. Both the breakfast and restaurant staff are always attentive and courteous. Dinner was very good, even though we arrived late due to a train delay. The only minor issues I found were in the room: the terrace door didn't close properly, and the kettle wasn't working. These are minor problems that shouldn't exist given the hotel's nightly rate and they did impact my overall rating, which otherwise would have been absolutely excellent. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied this time as well.

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a functional home base in Rome, Hotel Villa delle Rose offers a mix of classic hospitality and convenience, though it shows its age in certain areas. The absolute highlight of this hotel is the location. It is perfectly situated for travelers who plan to use the rail system extensively. Whether you are navigating the Rome Metro to see the local sights or catching a high-speed train out of the city for a day trip, the proximity to the station makes logistics seamless and stress-free. The Room & Atmosphere While the location shines, the accommodations are more modest. The rooms are basic and definitely feel a bit worn out, reflecting an older style of Roman hospitality. One thing to keep in mind is the sound insulation; the walls and ceilings are quite thin, meaning you can easily hear neighbors in the hallway or footsteps from the floors above. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are a must. Dining Breakfast is a reliable, typical Italian spread. You can expect a variety of pastries, breads, and preserves, complemented by solid juices and a quality cappuccino to start your morning. It’s simple, sweet, and classic. Service The staff is a major plus. The front desk is accommodating and helpful, always ready to assist with questions or directions. Their welcoming attitude goes a long way in making up for the hotel’s older infrastructure. The Bottom Line: Hotel Villa delle Rose is a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize transportation links and friendly service over modern luxury. It’s a ”no-frills” spot that serves as a convenient gate-way to Rome and beyond.

GGuest UserLocation is quite convenient. Around 13mins walk from Rome Termani Station, where the main trains depart from/arrive into, and where the airport shuttle buses are located. Close to multiple bus stops that takes you to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Tiber Island and other key attractions, and within walkable distance to Villa Borghese Gallery. There are a few restaurants that open till late night in the area and mini-supermarkets as well in the neighborhood. It's quiet and isn't noisy. Hotel has a lift that takes you up to your room, a locked room for storing baggage, and only a few stairs at the entrance so accessibility is good. Single room size is decent, with windows, and toilet with stand shower and stable hot water that doesn't fluctuate in temperature and good drainage, no leakage. Recommendation for the hotel to provide some more toiletries and basic amenities besides shower cap, as there are nothing else in the room. No hot water boiler, no hairdryer, no slippers. And I had to ask reception for blankets because housekeeping forgot to put new ones back onto the shelf. Staff is helpful and was able to give me the blankets I requested efficiently, which is clean and wrapped in plastic, so kudos for the hotel for having good hygiene. There is a fridge and a mini safe box though which is a plus. Cleanliness is above average, ventilation and air con/heating are also good. Overall room is good value for money, and is big enough for you to open a 28inches+ luggage fully. Check-in process is also speedy, WiFi is reliable.

GGuest UserFantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!

CChingGoesGlobalAS A FIRST TIME AND A SOLO TRAVELLER- The hotel location is 10-15 mins from termini or the City Center. Not so crowded place which I like. There is bus stop near to the hotel just 1min walk. From there you can ride bus number 90 or 66 to bring you to termini. You can just use your bank card to tap and its also less hassle. I didnt check if how much does it cost but pretty sure its cheap. Haven't check my card anyway. HOTEL ROOM- I am very particular about the cleanliness but this one never dissappoint me. It's well maintain, modern, clean and no nasty smell. I have a single room just perfectly fit for 1 person. The place is cozy .The toilet is spacious(its big) inside have hand soap, body liquid soap. Hair dryer, towels. CLEAN✅ HALLWAY- is clean I even walk barefoot not too scared to get too much dirt. Since my foot is aching from a long walk with my shoes. They dont have slippers but thats fine. There is 1 water bottle for free. BREAKFAST- they have excellent breaky serve daily at 7am to 10am, buffet style. You can just approach the counter to have a coffee or juice. Coffee is perfect. The place as well is cozy you can just refer to my photos. They have lounge where you can stay after your check out whilw waiting for your time to go. They have vending machines for some of your essential hygiene needs. OVER ALL IT WAS EXCELLENT AND HIGHLY RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE. Affordable price I would definetly be back.🥰

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to stay close to the main attractions here in Rome. I booked the Basic Single Room and it was very spacious and comfortable for single travelers. The price may seem high but the location, service, and safety makes up for it. There is a police presence outside the hotel as your right by the Parliament adding a sense of safety throughout the day. The front desk was very helpful and respectful at check in and check out. If I ever come back to Rome and it’s in my budget I will definitely highly consider staying here again.

GGuest UserThe staff are very friendly and the breakfast is not bad. It's very outskirts, so the train is cut off after 12 o'clock and you have to take a taxi. It's a perfect place to stay The new metro line C is also available once to the Colosseum, and it takes 25 minutes without transfer. ㄹㅇ Recommended
