The hotel is right next to the JR station, and it's so convenient to walk only 2 minutes! There are also many restaurants and shops around, with a wide range of choices. The most important thing is that the price is very affordable, thank you very much! !
Impeccable service, very Japanese-style rooms. I heard it is a century-old hotel. There are not many rooms, so there are not many people taking a hot spring bath, which is a good experience. There is an open-air bath, you can watch the snow and take a hot spring bath, which is very flavorful. The food is very good, dinner is Japanese, and breakfast is a buffet. The buffet has Western bread and coffee, and natto rice with miso soup. My snow boots disappeared when I came back without putting them in the shoe cabinet. All the hotel staff helped me find them, and the uncle who manages the shoe rental kept apologizing. He said that if I can't find them, he will prepare a pair of snow boots for me.
The hotel provides paid station pick-up, but it is free to go from the hotel to the station when leaving. The hotel is located next to the ski resort. The hotel also provides washing machines and dryers, but they are very popular and it takes a long time to get one.
In Yuzawa Onsen Street, this is a very cost-effective hot spring inn that offers one night and two meals.
It is located about ten minutes outside the exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station, but be aware that there is a slope. As for the pick-up and drop-off, I only know that they will send you back to the station after check-out.
There are cooperating ski equipment rental shops that will pick you up at the hotel and ski resort.
I stayed at my maternal grave.
There was dinner and breakfast, but both were delicious.
However, the amount is quite large, so those who eat less may not be able to eat it.
The building is old and there are many insects outside because the mountain is close, but it did not come into the room.
Because Niigata was a hot day, the air conditioning was not effective 々, and the common parts such as the corridor were quite hot because there was no air conditioning.
Instead, I'm grateful that you can always put hot springs in.
It was said that there was a possibility that there was a cat, but this time I couldn't meet it because I was bad luck.
Facilities: Typical Japanese style. The hotel is not very new, but it is very warm and recommended.
Cleanliness: The hotel is not very new, but every corner is clean.
Environment: Yahiko Village is very comfortable and very suitable for walking around slowly.
Service: The reception staff are two old ladies. They are very polite. It can be seen that they love life and their work. The experience is great.
It is a very traditional Japanese hotel with a bathtub for 3-4 people.
The hostess is a cook, waiter and receptionist. Attached are breakfast and dinner made by myself, showing my sincerity. Shared bathroom, public toilet, hair dryer and toiletries. Trip cannot respond to requests for pick-up services. Please ask the station service desk to call for you (if you can speak Japanese). They provide station pick-up services, lockable racks for snowboards, and drying room services. Very good value choice.
breakfast
Day 1: 3 pieces of fried meat, fried spring rolls, sweet shrimp, salmon sashimi;
Day 2: French bread, scrambled eggs, 2 hot dogs, macaroni salad, orange slices
Dinner includes sweet shrimp, mashed tuna salad, lettuce, pickled soybeans, pickled cabbage, miso fish fillet, fried shrimp, braised Dongpo pork, egg drop soup, coffee, and all-you-can-eat rice. The above is for one person.
If you are used to private bathrooms or noisy group play, this is not recommended. The stairs and rooms are all made of wood, so the sound insulation should be poor. The tenants were all very nice, speaking softly and walking lightly.
There was actually someone who asked others not to enter the bathroom because he was not used to bathing together and asked others to wait until all three of them had finished bathing 😳😳😳😳 On 2/3 at night, a mother took her two daughters. If you see this, please don't book this kind of hotel in the future, and please change your shower time to the last minute after 21:30. My daughter and I have to take a shower, wash our hair and blow dry our hair before 10 o'clock!
Thank you for the delicious meal provided by the hotel. We can have a full meal and enjoy the food after skiing.
Keiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours.
The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable.
Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!
