I highly recommend this place for your stay in Polonnaruwa.
You can enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace nestled in a quiet forest. A short walk away is a lake where you can stroll along the shore or watch the sunset.
The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including air conditioning and a hot water shower.
We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but I recommend staying longer if you have the time.

Nice home cooked food. Very friendly and helpful owner, Mr. Sampath. The property is surrounded with trees and hidden in the jungle. Very quite and fresh air.
