Motel 6 Memphis, TN - Downtown

The motel is very close to the center so it is very easy and comfortable to get there. The good thing was that it is in a gated property so at least it feels safe. I reserved a room for three people but they provided just two sets of towels. The room had the basic. TV, no fridge. The main problem I had was the clean. The room did not feel clean at all. The beds were changed, but under the bed the dust and dirt was disgusting. The floor probably has not been clean from a very long time and there was a condom wrap open under the bed. The walls and doors had spots all over . Overpriced for what you get.

I was driving through town and saw a motel 6 with an affordable price. I am thankful for the person that helped me get the room. I was warm and out of the cold. It was an extremely nice room. I had a heater and I had a nice shower.

Lovely stay in Nashville arriving to celebrate a family birthday. I was concerned about being out of downtown Broadway area, but we were ultimately happy to be away from ”crazy town”. Everything is quick and easy Uber ride and we actually enjoyed our 1.8 mile walk back from Sinatra's in the Printer's Alley area last night. Beautiful lobby and pool areas and Katie, the bar tender at the Henley was top notch. David, our hard working valet, went above and beyond nonstop and always with a smile. Room were nice sized, comfortable and well-equipped. Highly recommend a stay at the Kimpton Aertson Nashville.

So our beloved friends were looking to celebrate their engagement with us; someplace amazing. Doing so in a safe way during the current pandemic proved challenging. Luckily I had met MJ, the general manager of the pool club at the Virgin Hotel, who offered her amazing private outdoor patio to host the occasion. The drinks were refreshing, the food delicious, and the view was captivating- the best I've seen of downtown Nashville. Looking from the iconic Batman Building to the Parthenon was a sweeping, breathtaking view. Before long the bride-to-be was dancing to the music, saying ”I am so, so happy”. We were shown incredible service from the time we dropped off our cars with the valet staff, and our server Conner was attentive and friendly, seamlessly becoming an important part of our evening. Thank you MJ, Conner, valet staff, and anyone else at Virgin Hotels who helped make this special night perfect.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Franklin - Berry Farms

Wow, this established has been open for 11 days as on 10/11/19. As I drove in, I was already impressed with the facility. But walking in this lobby blew me away. This feels more like an establishnent that is right under Intercontinental in the IHG family if brands. I have NEVER seen a full service Holiday Inn, Staybridge, Holiday Inn Express or even an Indigo this impressive. The room is large, exceptionally designed with the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel. The breakfast was fairly basic, but still itquite tasty. Even though they were sold out and they were feeding about 200 people, the breakfast attatendances kept everything full and fresh. Housekeeping is simply fantastic. All the staff were exceptional, but I would like to point out the General Manager, Terri Aunkst and front desk clerk Oz. I was in the area, last minute, for an emergency. and their compassion, empathy and help was amazing. I will forever be grateful and will be a loyal customer from this point forward!!

Not sure why this motel has only three reviews and they are all 1's. Not a bad motel at all but dated. Pretty good value in our opinion. We’re been in Knoxville a number of times recently to help a relative rehab an old house and for most of those times have stayed at the Quality Inn at the Strawberry Plains exit off I-40. It’s clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable. Front desk workers are friendly and helpful. A placard in the bathroom states “let’s work together to conserve water and energy resources.” It goes on to say that towels and sheets will be changed every three days unless requested sooner. Most motels tell you to hang up towels, and they won’t be changed; here, it flat out said they would not be changed. Guess what??? They were! We are happy to reuse towels and always dismayed to find that the stated policy has not been followed. I wish someone from management or corporate headquarters would explain this to me! Except for this (and to us, it’s a pretty big deal!), this motel always serves our needs, and we have no reservations about returning in the future.
