"We had the most amazing stay here, all thanks to the incredible hospitality!We arrived at Hobart Airport after a super long and exhausting journey, and we were honestly running on empty. Melissa at the front desk was an absolute lifesaver! She noticed how tired we were and immediately went to work trying to get us an early check-in. Since our room wasn’t quite ready, she safely stored our luggage for us and text us the very second it was clean. That meant the world to us!She also gave us a fantastic, super detailed rundown of all the hotel facilities.
To make things even better, our room had a stunning, super beautiful view of the lake. We couldn't take our eyes off it!"

"Good location, just walking distance to the main streets which closes very early. Restaurants are easily accessible. I self drive, nearest parking is of about 3-5mins walk away at $35AUD per night unlimited. I personally feel if i were to choose again, maybe i would just park at the nearest carpark beside, or park at the same carpark without using the hotel privilege, maybe it could be cheaper. This is because i only come back to the hotel at night and moved out early in the morning. Worth exploring if anyone were to try.
Cleanliness wise, im not too sure, i make room everyday but theres some stains in the bathroom which was left on day1, still there on day3, but room and bed definitely tidied.
Still worth to stay. Love the indoor pool and the breakfast is good too! (Ala carte order, not buffet)"

"The room itself was fine, clean and spacious with some cooking equipment (kettle/toaster/microwave). It is centrally located. Some of the rooms have parking directly outside, so I would suggest parking in the space directly outside of reception, checking in and then figuring out where to park.
There is one washing machine and one dryer, they looked extremely old and only take coins, the machine was in use so we used the laundry down the street (which also only takes cash) instead."

"The room wasn't very big, and since I booked only a week in advance, the price was a bit higher than expected. Overall, the hygiene was acceptable, although there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom when I checked in. The hotel staff helped us resolve that. I forgot to take photos of the room, but you can refer to the hotel's pictures and other reviews; they're all pretty similar. It's worth noting that international hotels aren't as accommodating as domestic ones when it comes to upgrades. Here, you'd either need to be a high-tier member or pay for a higher room category to get an upgrade.
Each day, the room is stocked with two bottles of drinking water, a carton of milk, and the usual capsule coffee and tea bags – pretty standard. However, I don't understand why housekeeping moved my belongings. Several times, I returned to find my neck pillow on the floor, clothes I'd hung on the hanger had been moved, and my slippers were in a different spot. While it's not a major issue, it was a bit annoying for someone with OCD. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this aspect.
I've included a few breakfast photos. On a side note, the fillet steak at the downstairs restaurant was very tender and worth trying."

"This is an older, Chinese-owned establishment. The front desk staff and the penguin guides, who double as hotel chefs, are all Chinese, making communication very easy and friendly. The hotel features a row of small villas backed by a huge lawn, often frequented by wild rabbits and kangaroos.
The hotel offers a complimentary penguin viewing experience, which is different from the paid tours on the beach. Some penguins have their nests within the hotel grounds and will waddle up from the beach. The advantage is a much closer view, though the number of penguins might be smaller.
Each room comes with a full set of cooking utensils, a refrigerator, and an induction hob, but consumables like cooking oil are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own. Be aware that the supermarket in town closes at 6 PM."

"The location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk.
For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice."

Breakfast is good, traditional English breakfast, compared to other big hotels may not be many types, but there should be classic food, and old British favorite marmite.
The scenery of the hotel is very good, you can faintly see the sea.

rampfDrove straight to the hotel after coming down from Mount Wellington. The hotel is directly opposite the pier. Pulled back the curtains and the view was lovely. Parking in the basement is AUD 25 per day, but you have to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs. If you have less luggage, you could park in the public car park next door, which should be free at night. This is probably the hotel with the best views in Hobart.

2. The hosts are very friendly; it's basically their home, with only two rooms available for guests. If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter.
3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample.
4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available.
5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer.
6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston.

Eastcoaster Tasmania was a fantastic choice for our Maria Island adventure—it’s just a shortdrive to Triabunna, the main ferry port. Rooms were cozy and spotless, with unbeatable water views that set a relaxing tone before our island hike.
Perfect for nature lovers; the peaceful coastal vibe recharges you after a day exploring Maria Island’s trails and wildlife. Parking was plentiful, and the on-site dining hit the spot. Highly recommend for a laid-back base on Tasmania’s east coast.
