I was in such a rush in Hong Kong that I forgot to take photos of the hotel room 😂 but I was quite happy with the hotel overall. The location is relatively close to Disneyland; you can get there by MTR, and having an MTR station nearby makes it convenient to go elsewhere too. The hotel is located inside a mall, with plenty of dining options downstairs. The room was quite spacious, the bedding was clean and tidy, and there was even a small sofa. The bathroom was a normal size and had a bathtub. Good value for money. The little restaurant across from the hotel had pretty good food.

Regala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm.
As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required.
I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor.
On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed.
Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use.
About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later.
About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use.
The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat.
It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time.

Conveniently located right at Terminal 1 Arrivals, it's super easy to find. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room is actually quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, and the price is reasonable. Getting around is very convenient – taxis and buses are readily available. The shower water gets nice and hot, but it's a bathtub, not a walk-in shower.

I requested a quiet, high-floor room away from the elevator when booking, and all my requests were accommodated in advance. The hotel's location is excellent, with direct subway access, making it convenient to go anywhere. While the decor is from over a decade ago, the quality is superb. The materials and craftsmanship are flawless, and it's so well-maintained that you wouldn't guess it was renovated more than ten years ago. The lobby and drop-off area are truly unique and must be experienced firsthand. The room wasn't as small as some reviews suggested; with two 1.5-meter beds, it was perfectly fine for a family of three. There's a large shopping mall right downstairs – if you have the budget, it's worth exploring; you're sure to find something nice.

I stayed at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis during my trip to Hong Kong. Although I booked a bit late and the price was a bit high, the 25-square-meter room was still quite good. I could see Victoria Harbour, and the view was decent. Breakfast was also quite rich. The only problem was the air conditioning; it was too noisy, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted once it was on. It got quite cold, but the comforter was very thin. When I turned the AC off, the humidity rose, making the room stuffy, and there was also a sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

This was the first hotel I stayed at upon arriving in Hong Kong, and the excellent experience gave me a great initial impression of the city. A big thank you to Victoria Xu, who made the entire check-in process smooth and efficient with her fluent Mandarin. She even upgraded our room for free to a larger one, with plenty of space for our luggage. She proactively helped us with the elevator, pressing the button for us when she saw we had a lot of bags, and holding the door open when we exited. When we checked out, Victoria Xu even gave us a canvas bag for our belongings. It's a shame I accidentally left it behind in Hong Kong because I was in such a hurry to catch my flight home. Overall, the service was great, the stay was comfortable, it's close to the MTR station, and easy to find.

The hotel boasts a beautiful sea view! With two 1.5-meter beds, it easily accommodates four people. The room amenities are basic, and unfortunately, there's quite a bit of dust, even on the hangers. There are no tables or chairs in the room, but there's a countertop (useful for boiling water or making instant noodles) and an extra sink. The refrigerator is a decent size. In the bathroom, only toothbrushes and cotton swabs are provided; other toiletries are absent. The shower water pressure is just average. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Tsuen Wan; it departs from the hotel and stops at 'Tsuen Wan Station'. If you're coming to the hotel, there are two stops: 'Tsuen Wan Station' and 'Tsuen Wan West Station'.

Cons:
The room was tiny, and the bathroom had a noticeable odor. The hotel staff outright refused to open a window for ventilation, only offering an air purifier, which did nothing. For a hotel charging nearly 2000 a night, they still charged for bottled water and even a razor.
The staff training was inconsistent. Most of the front desk staff didn't even smile at guests (the Filipino interns at the front desk actually had the best attitude). However, the executive lounge staff were excellent, with a much higher level of training and service awareness than the front desk.
There was a middle-aged woman at the front desk who seemed to be a local Hong Konger, possibly a front office manager. When she heard me speak Mandarin, she insisted on conversing with me in English. I'm not sure if it's because she grew up in colonial Hong Kong and felt the need to assert her presence and superiority with English, condescendingly looking down on us ”mainland bumpkins.” I suggest the hotel's General Manager provide better ideological education and training for their middle managers. It's 2026; no one is inherently superior to anyone else!
Pros:
The hotel is very new, and the gym, pool, and rooftop Cruise restaurant are excellent – new and beautiful. The staff at the Cruise restaurant and executive lounge were very good in terms of service attitude and problem-solving skills.

All the staff were incredibly nice, and even though we arrived around 11 AM, they managed to get us into an available room early! However, when we got back to our 10th-floor room at night, there was no hot water, and my friend even had a cold shower. After some back and forth, they upgraded us to an Executive Room. The Executive Room on the 15th floor was very clean and well-decorated, but the soundproofing definitely wasn't great. The original room on the 10th floor was a bit older. Overall, I'm still very satisfied with the service and would consider staying here again because the location is just too convenient. It's easy to get to from West Kowloon, whether you walk or take the MTR, and there's a bus stop nearby too. Dining is super easy as well, with lots of great food options in the vicinity! It was also a short walk back after watching the fireworks at Victoria Harbour!

Staying at The Hari Hong Kong this time was such a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and bright, and being on a high floor, the sea view was completely unobstructed. It was so calming to watch the ocean during the day and admire the Victoria Harbour night view. The hotel is located in the prime area of Wan Chai, with numerous shopping and dining options nearby. The MTR is right around the corner, making it incredibly efficient and convenient to get anywhere. The service was attentive, and the facilities were modern. With both great sea views and excellent convenience, I highly recommend staying here when you visit Hong Kong.

GGuest UserIt was an amazing stay! The thing I liked was that the room was spacious and we had a balcony. This would’ve been a perfect 10/10 if it weren’t for the toilet problem our room had. But the hotel was so accommodating and made sure our room was cleaned every day because of the toilet issue. I would definitely consider coming back.

GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at Rambler Oasis Hotel – it exceeded my expectations in many ways! The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a nice, relaxed vibe. My room was cozy, well-kept and came with a lovely view. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary tea – it was delicious and felt like a thoughtful little extra.
The location is very convenient, especially for getting from the airport – the transport links are straightforward and easy to use.
A couple of small notes: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room (which I would have appreciated), and no spoons for the tea but it wasn’t a big issue overall. Also, for European plugs you need to bring your own adapter or borrow one from reception (they provide it, so it’s not a big problem).
The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the hotel felt welcoming and great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Hong Kong. Thank you for a nice experience! 😊

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is new, soundproof, clean, and tidy. The room is quite spacious, even big enough to add an extra bed. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and they thoughtfully gave my child a teddy bear. The hotel's location is super convenient, backing onto Victoria Peak and very close to Admiralty MTR station. Taikoo Place shopping mall is right downstairs. It's convenient for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. We booked a mountain view room, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!
11358053****1. This hotel is a bit out of the way. There's only one 7/11 nearby, and it's not even 24-hour. The closest place to get food is a 20-minute walk. If you're coming back late and want a bite to eat or to buy something, it's best to have eaten beforehand or to have bought things already.
2. There's no general food delivery in Hong Kong; you can only download the Hong Kong-specific Keta delivery app. However, you need to register to use it, and you can only do so with a local Hong Kong or foreign phone number. Mainland Chinese phone numbers don't work. We asked the front desk if we could register with their number and have them notify us when food arrived, but no one in the entire hotel was willing. So, Keta delivery was effectively useless.
3. The power outlets in Hong Kong are different from mainland China. If you bring the wrong adapter or forget to bring a specialized one, your phone and computer will be useless, because the hotel provides absolutely nothing. At most, they'll let you scan a power bank for 200 yuan deposit and 8 yuan an hour – do with that what you will.
4. The hotel rooms are quite old and a bit dated, and the cleanliness is just average (there was still hair on the towels, and tea stains hadn't been wiped off the table). Those who mind these things should take note.

YYiqiqukanhai58The hotel's location is excellent. From West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, head towards Elements Mall. Once inside Elements, continue following the clear signs to the hotel. The entire walk is indoors. It's also convenient if you exit at Kowloon MTR station; just walk into Elements. The hotel is clean and the service is warm and friendly. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very welcoming. There are clear signs leading to the hotel entrance. You take the elevator to the 6th-floor lobby where staff direct you to the front desk for an easy check-in process.
Because of the convenience and excellent service, I extended my stay for an extra day. On the first day, I wasn't familiar with Elements Mall, but once I got my bearings, it was very easy to get around. To travel from Hong Kong to Macau or Zhuhai, you can simply take the cross-border bus from within Elements Mall, which is incredibly convenient!
