Wan Chai district is super convenient, lots of local and international cuisine. Hotel is located 5mins walk from various entry points to MTR station. Beds are firm and comfortable, provided two pillow types - soft and firm. Sufficient luggage space. Clean bathrooms, supplied thick, fluffy towels, cans of water and toothbrushes. Glass door to bathroom has no lock and the glass feels slightly translucent when light is switched on. Housekeeper does brilliant job maintaining the cleanliness and is friendly. Check-in service is effortless and efficient.

The room facilities were a bit old, but the size wasn't small, and it was enough for three people. Plus, there was a free shuttle bus to the MTR station the next day. Although they didn't provide free drinking water, the purified water from the vending machine downstairs was only 3 HKD, which is already considered a good deal for water in Hong Kong. Overall, a positive experience!

If you're visiting Lantau Island, Mui Wo, or Silvermine Bay, I highly recommend this hotel. I came here after a day at Disneyland, and it took about 80 minutes to get here (the MTR is fast, but waiting for the bus at night can be tricky). First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's far from the city's hustle and bustle, with its eastern side facing the sea. From a sea view room, you can open your eyes and watch the sunrise, enjoying the sun and beach. Silvermine Bay Beach is right outside, and Lantau Island is behind you, offering BBQ, fishing, and various water activities – you can play however you like! It's a 10-minute walk to Mui Wo Pier, where a 30-40 minute ferry ride takes you directly to Central and the Observation Wheel, essentially like taking the Star Ferry for a tour of Victoria Harbour. Secondly, the price is very friendly. Just make sure to book a room type that includes tax and breakfast. The value for money is clearly far superior to those crowded, noisy hotels with small beds and no breakfast in Tsim Sha Tsui or Central. And yes, the breakfast is quite good too. The only slight drawback is the charging situation. There are USB ports, but they can be unstable. However, even though there isn't an adapter, there's a vending machine that sells them. Special tip: Remember to bring a deposit (or a credit card for pre-authorization).

The location is a bit out of the way. You have to take a mini-bus from Kwai Fong MTR station to get there. The staff service at the hotel lobby was not bad. I was upgraded to a king-size bed room. There were no toiletries in the room, but the room wasn't too small. The only recurring issue was that the shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner were all-in-one! Overall, it's not bad, just a bit secluded.

★★★★☆ Great Location & Spacious Rooms, but Some Amenities Need an Upgrade The location is definitely the biggest strength of Royal Plaza Hotel Hong Kong. I would give it 5 stars for convenience—it is directly connected to MOKO, which makes it extremely convenient for last-minute shopping, dining and picking up anything you may need. It is also just a short walk from Mong Kok East MTR Station, making it easy to get around Hong Kong. The room was surprisingly spacious by Hong Kong standards, which was a definite plus for our family. I had accidentally selected the wrong room type when making the booking, but the hotel staff were prompt and helpful when I requested to change from the upgraded King Bed room to a room with two double beds. As the family rooms were already fully booked, they arranged a handicap-accessible room for us instead. It was actually more spacious, so while it wasn't the room type I had originally intended to book, we appreciated the effort to accommodate our needs. That said, some of the in-room amenities could use an upgrade. In particular, the hairdryer really needs replacing. It became extremely hot very quickly and was uncomfortable to use—I was concerned it might damage or burn my hair. Overall, I found the hotel comfortable, convenient and well located, with good service and generous room space for Hong Kong. However, having stayed five nights at Intercity Hotel Shenzhen immediately before this, I found Royal Plaza to be a step down in terms of the overall room experience and amenities. This is not to say that Royal Plaza is a poor choice—it is still a solid option, particularly if location, shopping convenience and room size are your priorities. Best for: Families, shoppers and travellers who value convenience and easy MTR access.

The hotel lobby service is excellent, and the environment is clean and hygienic. The rooms are spacious and clean, definitely worth the stay. There are direct bus and minibus connections to MTR stations like Tsing Yi, Maritime Square, Kwai Fong, and Tsuen Wan, making transportation incredibly convenient.

On the day of check-in, we arrived at the hotel in the morning and immediately told the front desk staff that we needed laundry service and wanted to hand over our clothes right away. It was 10 AM at the time, and the hotel front desk also charged me a credit card deposit of 6000 RMB. However, the front desk refused to accept our clothes for washing, stating that we were only staying for two nights, from September 7th to 9th. He claimed that it would be impossible to return our cleaned clothes by the 9th. The four of us took turns asking him if he could provide a specific time for the return of our clean clothes on the 9th, but he kept saying he didn't know the time and ultimately refused to take our laundry. That evening, we returned to the hotel at 10 PM and got our room key. Upon entering the room, we saw a notice about the laundry service, which clearly stated that clothes submitted before 9 AM would be returned the same evening, and clothes submitted after 9 AM would be returned the next day. We immediately called the front desk to complain and then went downstairs to speak with the so-called duty manager that night. He promised to give us a response regarding this matter the next day. It's now September 11th, and we have already checked out of the hotel, yet we still haven't received any explanation from the hotel. This service is absolutely outrageous!!!

First of all, it truly lives up to its five-star rating! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. And the housekeeping department was excellent too! The only minor issue I had was that the pillows were a bit too flat and soft, but after calling the front desk, the hotel provided me with a pair of latex pillows. Because there were so many guests, the hotel gave me a free upgrade to a king-size room. It even had two refrigerators! And a bathtub… though, there was only one trash can in the entire room, located in the bathroom. Charging options: Three-pin plugs, USB, or Type-C.

When choosing a hotel, I always check the bedding first because I have sensitive skin. I also prioritize transportation, location, and room cleanliness, and the Four Seasons Hotel satisfied all my expectations. The staff were friendly, the hotel pool had a great view, and the in-hotel restaurants and bar were also top-notch! The view from the room was also incredibly beautiful, making for a delightful trip. I was worried about the heat or typhoons since it was a July trip, but the weather was fantastic, and the fact that the IFC Mall is connected to the hotel made getting around easy, which made the trip even better. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel! 👍👍👍

I booked this hotel during my layover in Hong Kong, and it was unexpectedly good! So good, in fact, that I booked the same one for my return trip. The welcome fruit was very generous, and it was surprising to find two toilets and two bathrooms in one suite. I was traveling alone, so it felt a bit like a waste!
