I only have positive things to say about Hotel Plaza Venice. From start to finish, my stay exceeded expectations. Reception & First Impression The lobby is spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean and well-kept, with a touch of elegance that you immediately notice upon entering. The location is perfect, right across from the Venice Mestre train station, making it incredibly convenient for anyone traveling to or from Venice by train. After a long train journey, stepping out of the station and seeing the beautiful façade of the hotel feels like finding an oasis in the desert. It's easily the best-located hotel in the area, and that first impression is unforgettable. Check-in Experience I arrived at 11 PM for check-in, and the front desk staff was quick, efficient, and professional. Despite the late hour, the process was smooth, and I appreciated the courteous service. Room & Cleanliness The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Everything in the room, including the bathroom, felt new and freshly renovated. The bathroom was spotless, with all the necessary amenities provided. It’s clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Breakfast Experience One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast room is large, clean, and well-lit, creating a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. The hotel has several staff members serving food and beverages, which ensures everything runs smoothly. There are plenty of hot food options, and the variety of coffee drinks is impressive — you can order cappuccinos, mochaccinos, and more. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. I can confidently say that the breakfast at Hotel Plaza Venice is excellent. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Plaza Venice offers an outstanding experience. an excellent hotel with excellent service. We had 5 rooms reserved at the hotel. We left the hotel to go to Ravenna via the trains. We left our Apple air pods in of one the rooms. The gentleman from the front desk (morning shift - sorry I don’t remember his name) on his own walked over the train station, tracked us down and surprised us to give us the air pods. I travel a lot and have never seen such exceptional service. Literally, because of his level of exceptional service from when we checked in to now, we decided to change our hotels (when we return from the cruise) to stay again at The Carlton because of his above and beyond attitude. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding experience from the point of when we first checked in.

What can I say? From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome. They even offered us coffee from the breakfast floor when we asked about good coffee spots nearby, and kindly let us use their machine. It was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel’s location is fantastic—just minutes from Mestre and only 5 minutes from a supermarket, with some great dining options nearby. The room was clean and spacious, and to top it all off, they surprised me with a lovely birthday note and a bottle of prosecco. It really set the tone for our trip—a perfect start to our time in Venice!

The only complaint was about noise. I can hear people talk next door. Clear enough, but only if I understand their languages. I requested a quiet room and yes I we were arranged to nearly the last room of the floor, but the room isn't soundproof. It was very annoying because people were up late. Excellent location: last bus stop before going on the bridge to Venice Island, so it's always crowded going out and returning. Something to consider if you need to sit or travel with kids or elderly. Friendly staff: checking in was smooth. Cleanliness: acceptable. Towels have some dirts on. The shared kitchen is small but packed with people. We just went to check it out, but it stinked. Overall I think it was great. If your budget is limited, this is the best option.

The administration and service was good, they give us even bigger room then we order for the same price., no waiting time at all - service was good and room was clean with all necessary supplies.

Hotel Principe is located strategically near the train station and grand canal. We spent 2 nights here recently and were upgraded to grand canal view room, thanks a lot! The room was clean, bed is comfortable and view is amazing. Room is also quiet once window is closed, even though facing the grand canal. Bathroom is big and clean, however there’s no sinkhole in the bathroom which ia very weird, and create problem when water splashed out when we are showering (which definitely will happen) so this need to be fixed. Breakfast selections and quality were alright, we like the freshly made pancake machine. Overall, this hotel is recommended if you’re planning to stay in Venice.

Overall fine stay near Venice. 5 minutes to direct bus or 10 to train. The room not too big and the bathroom not in perfect condition. Bed is good and trains are almost silent on the railway side. Some free parking around is good. Breakfast is ok. Overall i would give around 8/10

Good standard hotel opposite Mestre station. Frequented mainly by international clients. Excellent staff very fast chekinn, quick breakfast with a good cappuccino. Convenient location to reach the city of Venice. Condigliato

Hotels rooms are comfortable, clean and with great showers. Delicious breakfast with wide range of choices. Located close to an excellent Italian restaurant and Ice-cream shop which does the best food! information about safe is misleading - no in room safe - valuables can go in the hotel reception safe but this has limited opening hours. Despite this, I would happily stay again.

Lovely hotel and very close to the train station - everything was great except the wifi was none existent so had to go outside to the centre if I needed to use wifi. Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel is at 20-25 min from Verona train station. But we were lucky, as our friends were coming to take us daily by car so we didn’t care about distance, just on the departure day we called a taxi. The room was clean, had a/c. The service was good. The hotel offers breakfast but we were eating outside as every day was busy sightseing. I would say that the hotel is value for money

Bed, or rather terrible beds. The double bed was two single beds that separate making noise as soon as you move, if you're not careful you'll fall in the middle. The mattress is very thin and too soft especially considering the bed base. Uncomfortable is an understatement. Excellent location with convenient parking. Adequate continental buffet breakfast. Cleanliness and room services in line with the price. I won't stay here again until they change the beds.

It has two supermarkets downstairs, and that is quite good, the location on foot is bad, but the bus doesn't take long at all, recommended

We stayed in this structure and, I must say, it is a hotel a few steps from Piazza Bra where the Arena is located, therefore, an excellent location. The structure is clean both in the common areas and in the room, the latter being large with a nice spacious bathroom. The good welcome, professional and helpful reception staff. Breakfast room service ... unfortunately I have to give a point not to give unclassifiable. Total lack of organization, there is no room manager to control the work of the employees, I say this because two episodes have happened to me that absolutely must not happen in a top-level hotel. First of all I approach the buffet and, wanting to get some fresh fruit, I notice that the containers of fresh pineapple and watermelon are empty, this absolutely must not happen as even before the container is completely empty it must be replaced with something already ready in the kitchen , after asking if it was possible to have said fruit I was told that they were preparing it, I assume they went to pick the fruit as everything arrived after a good 15 minutes but, that's not all, I ask a room attendant if it was possible have a coffee spoon as they were missing in both containers, my affection told me that he would have done so immediately but he continued to carry out his duties until after five minutes I went in front of the kitchen entrance asking for a teaspoon, remained perplexed by my request, they verified the lack of cutlery and began the search for crockery, after a minute, apologizing, they said they had forgotten them in the dishwasher (the excuse is worse than the accusation). Surely none of this would have happened if there had been the presence of a manager trained for this type of service. Unfortunately for errors of this type the entire structure loses value. I apologize for the length of the review but it seemed only right to explain what happened so that the management could improve the service.

My friend and I have just returned from this hotel. No real complaints hotel was spotlessly clean and staff lovely. Approximately 20 minutes drive into centre. I cannot understand previous reviews commenting on the area and distance from the centre. Surely you would read this before you booked. We did a city break with jet2 and this was mentioned. We used the shuttle bus and taxis which weren't cheap but still did not add up to price of hotels in verona centre. Our room was huge. Nice bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast had everything. Very busy no matter what time you went. I didn't like the tea and my friend didn't like the coffee but this is personal taste. The barman was really nice when we had a drink before bed. Overall we had a smashing time. We used the trains to visit other resorts. Very good service and not too expensive all in all a great time

Beautiful hotel, amazing rooms, great swimming pool. The people are very friendly. The only downside is that it is far away from the city center, and the transportation cannot work 24 hours a day, but everything else is fine
