The hotel's location is excellent; you can easily walk from Beppu Station with your luggage. The room view exceeded expectations, offering a panorama of mountains, sea, and city. Breakfast was great, with unlimited tempura! Plus, there's a free drink bar in the restaurant every day. The room size was generous, and the facilities were new. The only downside is that our room on the second-highest floor was directly below the onsen level, leading to some noise. We reported it to the hotel, but they couldn't do anything about it.

This hotel is very convenient if you are taking bus from Hakata Bus Terminal. It stopped right in front of the hotel. Inside the hotel, it has tourist information counter where tourists can buy bus pass etc. Room and toilet are small and is common in Japan, but they are clean and stay is comfortable.They have 1 indoor and outdoor onsen. Opposite the hotel is a departmental store and is 10 mins walk to Beppu train station. Beppu tower is just a short distance walk from hotel. If you are taking a bus to Yifuin, bus stop 1 is just nearby, opposite direction of hotel. I will recommend this hotel if you are coming to Beppu.

They are all Japanese food, but the taste is weird (especially the side dishes), the chicken is not tasty, the sashimi is very spicy, the main course of dinner, sukiyaki beef, is a little less in quantity (the taste is OK); the breakfast is also ordinary, but overall it is filling…. Room: The items are complete, the private hot spring is also good, the room is large, the bedding is comfortable, and there is a full sense of space! No disposable slippers and shower caps

Drove to the hotel so location wasn’t an issue but what a luxurious resort stay for the family! The dinner buffet options were plenty with roasted beef, seafood and plenty of alcohol options. The indoor water slides and wave pool provided much entertainment for kids and they definitely enjoyed it. Bedrooms were comfortable and relatively newly renovated so we enjoyed the stay a lot. Will definitely drop by again if there’s a chance!

It is a 10-minute walk from the JR station. There is a 24-hour discount supermarket called TRIAL next to it. The prices of the goods in it are the cheapest in Japan, including food and cosmetics. The hotel room is large and well-equipped. Breakfast comes with a discount coupon, 1,200 yen per person, which is definitely worth it.

The closest hotel to Harmonyland which allows you to take taxi to and from the theme park at a reasonable price. The hotel basically provides everything from snacks, drinks and meals all day including dinner and breakfast, everything was excellent. I was aware that Mercure is an international hotel chain thus the vibes of the hotel itself can’t truly be entirely Japanese. However, I was still very satisfied with my stay overall. I was so lucky to see some cherry blossom trees still in their peak at the hotel parking lot while the peak of most other trees in different areas had already passed. The hotel also offers free shuttle from and to Beppu Station which we found to be very helpful.

It's exactly the same as the picture. I was a little worried because there were no reviews, but it's a bit of an ambiguous distance to walk from Yufuin Station, but the facilities were very clean and the owner responded quickly. There were dishes and cooking utensils, and it was possible to bring dogs, so there were dog pads and pet supplies on one side. The private room had hot water 24 hours a day, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The four of us, my mother-in-law, my wife, and my baby, went there and had a great rest.

Hotel facilities, environment, service attitude, food, They are all over five stars. The only drawback is that the location is not very convenient. Hotel facilities at big building is good. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to use the hot spring (main reason to choose this hotel) because there was drunk guest throw up inside men room and no one came to clean. Bed sheet has water stain on the outside so could be bothering for someone.

The pick-up service responded immediately via Gmail, so it was convenient to take me there, and the service was very friendly. The private bath in the accommodation was great, and the view was so pretty! You can eat kaiseki in a private room, and the taste, service, and sake were all the best. It was so convenient that they even took you back. A place I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! It was the best. *The puppy is cute (Name: Hei-chan)
