Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛. Highly recommended!

Stayed at the Imperial Hotel Osaka during cherry blossom season. It has that old-money charm, understated yet elegant. The service was excellent and very attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive and high-quality. The hotel is surrounded by cherry blossoms, and the riverside cherry trees were absolutely stunning, like clouds and rosy mist. Overall, a perfect experience.

- Spa was good, breakfast was good. - Location was good; we could go shopping or eating outside easily. The area across the station felt a bit unsafe, and there were some homeless people around. - Very clean floors in the entire building since everyone had to take off shoes at the lobby. - After check-out, the hotel allows guests to store their luggage if guests stay on the premises to enjoy the spa. However, if guests leave the hotel after checkout and then return later, the hotel does not offer luggage storage. In that case, you have to use the coin lockers in front of the hotel. It was a bit inconvenient because I had to exchange money again to use the locker. That was the only inconvenience.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle (newly opened in 2024) is a premium business hotel that boasts great views, new rooms, spacious accommodations, moderate transport links, and an international chain standard of service. It's ideal for travelers who want to see Osaka Castle, stay in a new hotel, and value space. **Key Highlights (Reasons to Choose):** 1. **Osaka Castle Views are a Major Draw:** * High-floor/castle-view rooms offer direct views of Osaka Castle's main tower, with particularly stunning night views. This is the hotel's biggest selling point. * The executive lounge is also on a high floor, allowing you to enjoy the castle view while dining, adding to the experience. 2. **New, Clean, and More Spacious Than Similar Japanese Hotels:** * Opened in 2024, the decor is modern and minimalist, facilities are brand new, and hygiene standards are high. * Rooms are generally more spacious than other business hotels in Osaka at a similar price point, mostly 26–30 sqm. Two large suitcases can be opened without feeling cramped, and bedding is comfortable. * Most bathrooms come with a bathtub, amenities are comprehensive, and water pressure and temperature are stable. 3. **Comprehensive Facilities, Suitable for Families/Business:** * Features an indoor pool and fitness center, which is rare for this price range in downtown Osaka. * The executive lounge, meeting rooms, and business center are all available, making it suitable for business trips. * Cribs/children's amenities can be arranged in advance, making it family-friendly. 4. **Good Location for Sightseeing, Requires Transfers for Shopping Districts:** * Very close to Osaka Castle Park, making it super convenient for exploring the castle; near Temmabashi Station, about a 7–10 minute walk. * Requires subway transfers to get to Umeda/Shinsaibashi, taking about 20–30 minutes one-way, which might be a slight hassle for serious shoppers. 5. **Consistent Service, International Chain Standard:** * Front desk offers multilingual service, check-in and check-out are smooth, and luggage storage and package receiving services are available. * Includes the signature DoubleTree warm cookie, showing attention to detail; overall, it's more American professional rather than exquisitely delicate Japanese service.

Coming from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map. I'd highly recommend taking a taxi if it's your first time in Umeda and heading to this hotel! However, once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Osaka Station is just 200 meters across the street! Hankyu Station and Umeda Station are also nearby. Within 500 meters, you'll find the Umeda shopping district: Hankyu Department Store, LUCUA, LUCUA 1100, Daimaru Department Store, Yodobashi Camera, and Hankyu Sanbangai are all in the vicinity – a shopper's paradise! The best part is the time-saving aspect; if you buy too much to carry, you can just drop it off at the hotel and head out again – plenty of time, haha. Most importantly, it's also quite close to Universal Studios Japan. A 17-minute subway ride from Osaka Station makes it incredibly convenient. **Service:** While I didn't find any staff who spoke Chinese, they were very friendly towards Chinese guests. My basic English was sufficient. You'll need to pay the deposit with cash or a Visa card. **Accommodation:** Since the price is a bit higher than the Shinsaibashi area, the rooms are also larger. This is the biggest hotel room I've stayed in Japan, and the accommodation was excellent and very clean. The only downside was that the hairdryer had very weak airflow and was loud, making it a struggle to dry my hair.

Although the hotel is within 10 mins walking distance from the metro station though it may not be best ideal when you need to walk back to the hotel late at night with hand full of shopping. I am not a smoker and i was known at point of booking that the room is for smoker though would be nice if at point of check in the hotel can ask me again so a possibly to have a non smoking room. There were massage chair outside of the onsen foyer which I am quite appreciated though even with the blinds down in the evening, the sun is still creaking through the side of the blinds showering directly to my face which can get quite hot and stopping me to open my eyes during my massage on the chair. Suggest also to have more information on the commute to Namba station for early train to airport when metro is not available. There is no USB plug in the room and I am glad that I have prepared my own socket. Overall I have a good experience staying at this hotel and I see that some of the details can be easily improved to elevate the hospitality.

After some positive experience from their Tokyo branches, I decided to try Grand Prince Osaka Bay during my stay in Osaka. There is a shuttle bus from Kansai International Airport directly to the hotel, there are buses from the hotel to Osaka station and it's within walking distance to ATC, Cosmosquare and Nakafuto (the closest) metro stations. The hotel is perfect if you plan to catch a ferry or if you want to be away from the busy areas of Osaka. The environment is spacious, with a few restaurants, cafes, and a shop to plan weddings. The hotel overall is clean and the staff are attentive. Highly recommend!

+The location was really nice, very serene with lots of mountains surrounding the ryokan; +Relatively easy to access (pretty far from Osaka, but close to the train station); +Staff speaks English, so you shouldn't have issues with communication; +They have a lot of instructions/maps/manuals on how to fully enjoy the ryokan, so you shouldn't have trouble figuring out the basics. ~Food was mostly ok, nothing bad or spectacular, good portions; ~Although they do have some SPA elements, it's really not a lot (basically nothing except hot springs and massage) -It's certainly on the older side (not in the sense of it being particularly historical, rather that it would benefit from some renovations), but maybe that adds to the ambiance for some people; -The actual inn territory is rather small, so you won't have much to explore without going outside. Overall, I think it's a good first ryokan to familiarize yourself with the culture a bit, but I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as particularly impressive/authentic experience.

The hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

That was my second stay at the Candeo chain but this one I loved more for location and better reception guys and girls who make you feel a special guest or even a friend, not just doing their job. I really appreciate that. Wanna say huge thanks to everyone who work there, I cannot skip to mention an English speaking guy (I don’t wanna post his name for his privacy), his friendliness, kindness and sense of humor made me smile every time. And for sure I’m gonna back to this hotel only, don’t even wanna look for another one for my next trip to Osaka. Thank you, guys, you’re the best! You all are sunshine! P.S. The hotel located literally in the middle of everything you need. Don’t even think, just book it and you’ll be satisfied at maximum, I swear.

GGuest UserThis is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are brand new. However, the mini-fridge in the room was incredibly loud, which disturbed my sleep. I had no choice but to ask housekeeping to switch it off. No one came to fix it the next day, so I couldn't use the fridge for two days. On the other hand, the concierge and restaurant staff were impeccable; they always greeted guests with a smile and were ready to help.

ZZHGKI originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.

YyucongseuExcellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. The view from the window was great, offering a glimpse of the red Ferris wheel. The location is superb, right next to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so dining, drinking, and shopping are all very easy. Plus, breakfast is free for children under six, which is a great value.
