This hotel is located in East Fourth Ring Road, and we chose it mainly for its convenient transportation and surrounding amenities. It turns out we made the right choice! The hotel staff, noticing we had elderly and children with us, proactively helped with our luggage and arranged a quiet room on a high floor. The room size is quite spacious for a hotel of this price range in Beijing, and the layout is well-designed. Both a gym and a laundry room are available. You can also cast content to the TV in the room, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with a full set of amenities. The neighborhood has a vibrant local atmosphere, with two large shopping malls nearby, Fangyuanli and Hopson One, offering everything you need, making it easy to find dining options for the whole family. The subway provides direct access to Universal Beijing Resort and Tiananmen Square. After a tiring day of sightseeing, being able to return to the hotel quickly to rest is truly invaluable. The staff's smiles and patience left a deep impression on us.

I had an 8 AM flight the next day, so I came to Beijing a day early. When I booked, I mainly chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, which I thought would be convenient. Little did I know, this hotel was full of surprises! First, I arrived at 12 PM, and the front desk staff helped me check in early and even upgraded my room type. After checking in, since I had two oversized suitcases, a very handsome young man helped me take my luggage to the room. Once I got to the room, there were already welcome fruits, yogurt, drinks, and bottled water waiting for me. The room was extremely clean, fully smart-enabled, and the soundproofing was excellent. You think that's it? No way!!! They offer free late-night snacks in the evening. Although I didn't get to try them, I saw quite a few people in the restaurant when I walked past it later that night, and it smelled delicious! And there's more! I booked the airport shuttle for 6 AM, and at 5:30 AM, the front desk called to remind me to gather in the lobby on time. When I went downstairs, the lobby staff greeted me and gave me a departure gift: a pack of tissues and a few steam eye masks. How incredibly thoughtful is that?! I just casually mentioned that I was flying international from T3, and they even prepared for that! All for just over 300 RMB, their service is absolutely amazing!!! I'll definitely stay here again next time I fly out of Beijing!!! Cleanliness: Excellent Environment: Excellent Service: Super incredibly good Facilities: Excellent Solo Deluxe Late Night Buffet: Delicious Capital Airport T3/T2 Shuttle Service: Fast, convenient, and superb service

Excellent value for money! Hotel smells nice, has free laundry, has a free coffee and tea, has non-smoking rooms: warm, clean, no smell, comfortable. Friendly staff. Location: a little 10-mins walk to metro, but for us location was brilliant. Compare the prices and quality of other options around, it is best choice.

This year I'll be coming to Beijing often for work. I feel I got lucky choosing LiveFortuna Hotel the first time. The staff is always kind and professional - checking in and out is always so efficient. The room - more like loft apartment - is a quiet oasis that I get to call home after a long day of work. It's clean, has comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower with plenty of hot water (important in the winter), a kitchen with utensils, purified water system, fridge, and front loading washing machine. I've stayed here at the height of the hot summer and the coldest of winter days - the temp AC and heating systems work great and are easily controlled by the guest (I really appreciate that little detail). The buffet breakfast is excellent and varied- opens at 6:30 am (thank you). Plenty of food options in the neighborhood. If you are elderly or have mobility issues, the loft bedroom might not be for you. Otherwise - I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely. Helpful to assist us check in as we reach early at 8am The laundry washer and dryers are useful amenities. Did not manage to try the midnight snack, looking forward to this. The team frequently shared warm drinks as we went up to our room, this is a strong plus for service. Relatively clean room, slightly dusty. Size is actually ok for us couple. There is a joined table for study/work. There is also a space at the lobby as well. Food delivery is fantastic with use of robots. Location is also shy of a 5min walk from the subway. We love this connectivity.

Booked this hotel for a colleague. The gentleman at the front desk upgraded our room the day before yesterday, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room offered a great view of Zhengyangmen Gate Tower, and the location is excellent. It's super convenient for visiting Tiananmen Square and the National Museum. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The room attendant cleaned promptly, and there was a dedicated person in the lobby to operate the elevators. The gym and pool staff were friendly and welcoming. The deluxe view room, facing due east and located on floors 25 and above, is part of the executive level, offering panoramic views of the East Third Ring Road. In the mornings, you can gaze at the 'fog city' (referring to Beijing's occasional haze), and at night, admire the iconic illuminated landmarks. The nearby multi-story PwC building, lit 24/7, evoked many similar memories for me. The pool facilities were also excellent – a truly worthwhile experience!

We arrived before 4 PM, but they still gave us our room and even upgraded us. The front desk staff clearly explained the hotel's policies. Our room faced the park entrance bridge with a view of Citywalk. The amenities were complete, and the room itself was simple, stylish, and clean – not at all cluttered. The size was just right; I could lay out my 26-inch suitcase without obstructing the walkway. The hotel is conveniently located right above the amusement park entrance, making park access incredibly easy. The early park admission benefit (an hour before general entry, not including the ticket) was fantastic! We managed to do everything we wanted in a day and a half, and even re-ride popular attractions multiple times – awesome! When traveling with kids, what you really need is hassle-free service for parents, and that's exactly what we got.

Stayed at the Legendale Hotel at the end of 2025. The lobby had a strong Christmas atmosphere, and many people came to take photos, making it a bit crowded. There were also many hotel guests. The rooms felt a bit dated but were fully equipped, and the service was warm and attentive. Every time I stay, I enjoy walking in the corridor outside my room; I really like this atrium-style design. Another reason I choose to stay at the Legendale Hotel is its close proximity to Peking Union Medical College Hospital, which is within walking distance, making it very convenient for medical check-ups.

MM259aiste****This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I was traveling with two elderly people in Beijing, and our days were packed. We'd usually get back after 8 or 9 PM. The hotel's service was incredibly attentive; they provided so many amenities, all individually wrapped, so there was no 'you use it, then I use it' situation. They even offered foot-soaking tubs, and delivery food could be brought right to our room, which was a huge relief. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and they even offer wake-up calls. Housekeeping cleans daily, and the snacks and drinks on the table are complimentary. I think the most comfortable aspect of this place is the service; the staff are neither overly enthusiastic nor overly cold—they're just right, making communication feel incredibly comfortable and stress-free. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this place is genuinely excellent!!! Right before my flight, I realized the yogurt I bought wasn't sealed! But I was about to head to the airport! I asked the front desk if I could buy a roll of cling film to seal it myself for checked luggage. The front desk attendant went to check for me and gave me a huge roll! 🥹 I absolutely love this place! Every word I've said is true, no exaggeration!

TTAN TECK HUAStaying at the Gubei Light Hotel was truly excellent value for money. The all-in-one package made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable! The package included tickets to Gubei Water Town, the Great Wall, and the cable car, plus a hot spring experience. It saved us so much hassle and time from having to plan and buy tickets separately. We just packed our bags and started exploring! I have to specially commend the hotel's breakfast – the selection was incredibly rich, with Chinese dim sum, Western dishes, and fresh fruits and vegetables all available. The presentation was exquisite, and the quality was top-notch, giving it a very premium feel. Every morning, we ate to our heart's content. The rooms were generally clean, comfortable, and spacious, making for a very pleasant stay. However, there's one small drawback I should mention: there's quite a difference in room views. Among the several rooms our group booked, only two had decent exterior views, while the others faced inwards with rather ordinary scenery. Aside from the minor issue with the views, the hotel offers great value for money. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, it's an excellent choice for accommodation in Gubei Water Town. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

HHannah Lauren Bond- The location is excellent. It is just round the corner from Gubei Water Town. A two minute walk to the entrance hall. - The service was good. The staff added us on WeChat and were very quick to respond to messages and queries. One stand out moment for us was when our food was 2 hours late from a local restaurant. I was struggling to communicate with the restaurant because my Chinese is not very good. Staff reached out on our behalf and sorted the issue for us. - Cleanliness was OK. The sheets on the bed felt lovely and clean, but the apartment was not spotless. The shower had some black mould, and the floor in the kitchen felt sticky. - The apartment itself had some pros. My son absolutely loved all the toys and the slides. It made his experience very enjoyable. - Plenty of towels, toiletries provided. However - The shower leaked constantly. Every time we used the shower the bathroom would become flooded - which was a slipping hazard for my son. - The curtains are very thin. Every morning we were woken up to a bright light streaming through the windows. This meant that my son’s sleep was not great. We did contact the staff about this. They used sellotape to stick up some bedsheets on the windows, but this fell down within minutes! We appreciate the efforts though. - We would have felt better if there was a stair gate. As this is an apartment aimed at families, a stair gate would be good for safety. - Limited cutlery is provided. We were given some disposable chopsticks. However very few cooking utensils / no children’s cutlery. Bring your own if you want to cook. :) - There was only once choice of breakfast - which was not to our personal taste. Would be good if 2 or three options were provided. There is a lovely bakery around the corner and we enjoyed buying our breakfast from there for the remainder of the trip.

11370515****An old hotel, and I stayed in the old wing. The facilities aren't new, but it definitely has character. The lobby has a warm color scheme, and the public areas are elegantly decorated. The front desk and restaurant staff provide standardized service, and the breakfast selection is comprehensive. The Sanbaole Bakery, with its long history, opens early. There are also Chinese and Western restaurants, as well as a bar.

LLaogandaixiaoganMy family and I have been visiting for nearly a decade now – my child was just a little girl when we first started coming here! Our experience earlier this year was particularly good. The rooms were pleasantly scented, clean, and tidy. The overall package, including the hot springs, swimming, fitness facilities, and buffet breakfast, offered excellent value for money. The hot spring experience this time was exceptionally good, with great attention to detail. It was evident that the hotel places great importance on the water quality and environment in the hot springs area. We're particularly grateful to Manager Wang Fang, who oversees the hot springs. Her service is consistently excellent each year, always warm and personally attentive. The breakfast, as always, was incredibly rich, offering a wide array of both Chinese and Western options. We hope the prices remain affordable during the winter peak season, especially for loyal, returning guests like us.

GGuest UserGubei Watertown Hotel is the best choice we ever made for Gubei trip! The hotel came with the package of spacious room overseeing Simatai Great Wall, unlimited entrance access to Watertown via face recognition, 1 afternoon tea at QingYe Inn (we were pleasantly surprised with the food that they served!), 1 Chinese tea 禅茶with cookies/ fruits n nuts in TongYuan pagoda. We stayed 3D2N in this lovely serene town during this freezy winter but we were paid off with no crowd and zen feel. Breakfast choice is superb based on the varieties that they prepared. Simatai Great Wall is just walking distance but we go with free shuttle service since we are the hotel guests. Simatai Great Wall ticket with 2 way cable car cost CNY220 for day trip. Simatai Great Wall also has night view with cable car cost CNY200 but if you are the hotel guest then special rate at CNY120. It is the only Great Wall that has night view n it is lovely n touching to see Gubei town at night from top of Great Wall. After night Great Wall, we went to sauna spa (voucher provided in hotel package 🥰) n the pool overlooking Great Wall, lovely isn’t it? I want to specifically thank the hotel staff 冀英杰being super helpful to show us the room, recommended the best food, showing the way of work for Great Wall route n he was the one who highly recommend Great Wall night view and I truly appreciate it. He has also helped me to get the money changing since we are back to Beijing via bus, also helping us to keep the luggage after check out as we are walking around to wait for 5pm bus. Overall, I really felt happy to choose this hotel with full package which cost optimal with quality stay. What a memorable trip in Gubei!

EE1676****This was my second stay, and it was just as excellent as the first. Our butler, Tracy Zhang Xi, was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful service. We initially had a different room than what we booked, but she promptly arranged a satisfactory change for us. She even helped us find an Ethernet cable and an HDMI cable, which was a huge plus. The hot springs at Haiwan Banshan are built into the mountainside, and the beautiful scenery is a definite advantage. There are over 10 different types of pools, each with a great view. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for extreme privacy, luxury, or a dedicated water play area for children. The kids' play area at Haiwan Banshan is quite large. Among 5-star hotels in Beijing with hot springs, only Club Med, Badaling Jinyu, and Xishan Hot Spring Blue Parrot probably offer bigger and more entertaining options. The suite was spacious, and the facilities were undeniably 5-star quality when compared to similar hotels. The only downside was the slightly higher price during holiday periods. The Ethernet port on the desk was fake; to get a wired connection, you had to use the port behind the bedroom TV, which was about 5 meters away. The butler could only find a 2-meter cable, which was a bit inconvenient for guests who need to work during their stay. I didn't get to try the Bian stone sweat steaming at the wellness center as too many people had booked it. The indoor air dome sports field is also very large, offering basketball, badminton, and table tennis, all of which require reservations. There's also a small outdoor ice rink where you can ice skate or play on ice sleds.

MM240113****The hotel's hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor areas, and there's also a dedicated family pool. The water temperature is just right, and the kids had a blast. After soaking, you feel completely refreshed. The relaxation area thoughtfully provides free drinks and fruits, perfect for quenching your thirst and re-energizing. The room was clean and tidy, and the heating was ample, making for a cozy stay in winter. The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to assist, which made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, setting us up for an energetic day. What was most surprising was that the hotel offers skiing. After hitting the slopes, you can then relax in the hot springs, and all your fatigue melts away. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, this place is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

NNicoleg22I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Here are some of the reasons I truly loved staying here: 📱 Before our arrival, the hotel staff reached out via email, suggesting we connect on WeChat to ensure smooth communication throughout our stay. 🚗 We took the high-speed train to Miyun, and the hotel kindly provided a free pick-up service, as well as a return drop-off to the train station when we were leaving. ⛷️ Additionally, the staff arranged complimentary transportation to and from the ski resort, making our experience even more convenient and enjoyable. Every interaction was genuinely pleasant, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be recommending it to anyone traveling to that area.

MM9527****This time, traveling with my child, I really have to give a huge shout-out to my dedicated butler, Emily! Her thoughtful service made our family trip incredibly delightful and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Emily was incredibly considerate. She not only proactively showed us the kid-friendly areas in the hotel but also thoughtfully reminded us of the children's activity schedule. My child had an absolute blast at the hotel and kept saying they didn't want to leave every day. On our departure day, because we wanted to visit a nearby attraction with our child, we requested a late check-out. Emily, without hesitation, arranged it for us and even specifically told us not to rush and to enjoy our outing. Having such a warm and reliable butler truly reduced much of the travel fatigue. My child and I have already decided that for our next trip, we'll choose this hotel again and ask for Emily to be our butler!
