Romantic Hotels in Beijing, China

I had an incredible experience at Sofitel Beijing. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I especially loved the spa-like bathtub. My children enjoyed soaking in it after a long day of exploring the streets of Beijing. The hotel is located in a great area with plenty of delicious food options nearby, and the train station is just a short walk away. Jackie at the front desk was extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you, Sofitel Beijing, for making our vacation so memorable!

The hotel is relatively close to the city center. Taking a cap takes around 20 to 30 min to the forbidden city, which is quick depending on the traffic. The staff is very welcoming, although they don't speak English very well. Be prepared to use a translator. The hotel itself is clean and makes a very good impression. The room itself has air-conditioning, a nice balcony with a view to the neighborhood. Unfortunately the balcony light didn't work for our room, but I saw the others are just fine. We loved the bed and the shower. Really clean. Lights are all controllable from the bed. The TV has Chinese program and a collection of movies. It's not a smart TV unfortunately and we didn't manage to put in English subtitles. The toilet is a smart toilet and was really good. You get a free supply of water and some small tomatoes next to the elevator. They also supply your rook with bottles of water after cleaning (which happens daily!). Shout-out to the cleaning lady, she was so nice. Right next to the hotel there are many bars and restaurants, although more on the expensive side within a walk of 15 min. If you opt to go south from the hotel it takes a 10 min walk to reach some nice local restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket. We had the best night drinking and eating with locals there. Super friendly people in this neighborhood. If you want to call a Didi (cheap chinese taxi app) there are good locations around the hotel for dropoff and pickup even with luggage. I can really recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Beijing.

This is my second stay. The hotel staff has good manners and appearance and is professionally trained. The hotel is quiet in a busy area and has a good environment. The hot spring is clean and the water temperature can be adjusted. The breakfast is worth mentioning, which is rich and exquisite. The travel photography service is quite good value. The photographer is patient and friendly, will give professional advice, and the photos are also good.

Great hotel, excellent location for food and to visit universal beijing, rooms big, breakfast decent, cant complain. Beds were comfy, great showers. One thing that stands out the most is the service. Outstanding service from the staff, xiao wang was in my opinion the best. His attention to detail, his 24hrs service, alwys wanted to make sure we are all ok, if we are lacking of anything, i could private massage him and he would reply instantly, amazing, i have no words, Xiao wang thank u. The hotel is connected to Wangfujing Central Shopping Mall, with a pedestrian street next to it, so you can go shopping in one stop. The subway entrance is 500 meters away from the hotel, making it convenient for travel. I arrived at the hotel at around 1:00 p.m., and the hotel arranged the room early, and the check-in process was extremely smooth. Guest relations Cassie's service is super nice~ She helped with the luggage all the way until it was delivered to the door of the room, and introduced the hotel's various facilities and services along the way. The service is also warm and thoughtful, responsive, and super considerate~ The scenery on the hotel terrace is so beautiful, but it's a pity that the wind was too strong during the few days of stay. The steakhouse manager Nacho is super handsome, and he is also very gentle. He will listen carefully to the guests' suggestions, and even gave a small cake when dining🔚! I stayed in the city for a staycation during the Chinese New Year. The location of Qianmen Mandarin Oriental is so good. I turned a corner from the noisy tourists in Qianmen and gradually walked into the quiet alley. The atmosphere was leisurely. After checking in, I went to eat pot stickers across the road and went back to the room to rest. In the evening, I borrowed the hotel's retro bicycle to ride to the Chongwenmen area to visit an independent cafe. I came back to Yanting for dinner at night. After dinner, I strolled to the entrance of the alley to sit in Shitiao Bar. At night, I went back to the room to take a bath and enjoy the perfect bedding all night. I got up lazily in the morning and went to VICINI for breakfast, burned some calories in the gym, and then went shopping around the alley. I checked out and went home at noon. It was a perfect day vacation~ In fact, I encountered a little setback when booking, but the hotel service was excellent after checking in, which was completely in line with the impression of Mandarin Oriental. The catering level was also great. The hotel maintained and renovated the surrounding environment very carefully. I like the Mandarin Oriental brand +1

The breakfast provided by the B&B is very rich, and there is also a meal-making service. You can eat Miyun Reservoir fish without leaving the house, and you can overlook the panoramic view of Vernon town by opening the curtains. Just a few hundred meters away you will reach Monet's garden and church. The overall feeling is very good. I will come again next time~

The housekeeper was very nice and responsive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the floor heating in winter was also very comfortable.
