I stayed at the Wyndham hotel, which opened this year in Liuzhou, and here are my impressions:
1. **Location:** It's right in the heart of Liujiang, with a modern and minimalist exterior. The lobby is on the 13th floor, offering stunning views of the Liujiang River, both day and night.
2. **Service:** The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since I was traveling with a child, they arranged our room near the playground. When checking out in the morning, they thoughtfully offered me two bottles of water for the car, which was a really warm gesture.
3. **Room:** As a well-known chain hotel, the room was clean, tidy, and equipped with advanced smart facilities. Even though it opened this year, there was practically no unpleasant odor in the room.
4. **Dining:** The restaurant is next to the lobby and boasts the best views. The breakfast spread was extensive, with quality ingredients and delicious food that even my child enjoyed. Eating there while admiring the river view was a truly enjoyable experience.
5. **Surroundings:** The hotel's location is perfect for easily seeing the musical fountain and popular photo spots. There are also many food night markets nearby, so you won't go wrong trying the delicious Luosifen (river snail noodles). It's only 800 meters from Qingyun Morning Market. It's truly the best choice for a city walk; you can explore the essence of Liuzhou just by strolling around in any direction.

My stay was the best hotel experience I have ever had. I am so satisfied and happy with the beauty and kindness of LS Inn. The room was so beautiful and so clean. The food was Amazing and the service was outstanding. I would especially like to highlight Icey and Reina. They were so attentive and accommodating to every need. They respodend very quickly and helped me book activities nearby. They were so kind and truly made me feel at home. I would also like to highlight the photography of Cai. She was very professional and patient with a great eye. She helped me with poses and the photos came out stunning. I am so happy I stayed at this hotel. It exceeded my expectations and made my trip even more remarkable. I hope to spend another stay at this hotel soon. Thank you to the LS Inn team for everything. Truly a great memory I'll cherish.

The front desk service was very attentive, guiding us to parking, which made up for the inconvenience of parking in a busy downtown area. The hotel's location is very close to all the major attractions; Solitary Beauty Peak and Jingjiang Prince City are just 100 meters across the street, and Elephant Trunk Hill isn't far either. The hotel is located above a pedestrian street with many lively snack bars and restaurants.
Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting.
The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes.
One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds.
Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the amenities were both high-quality and stylish. They really nailed the tech-savvy, comfortable vibe with things like electric toothbrushes, a projector for movies, a sleep sound machine, and a plumbed-in water dispenser. All the appliances in the room were smart and could be voice-controlled. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and patient. This is a hotel I'd highly recommend, from its facilities to its service.

I called the hotel yesterday before checking in to ask if I could fish by the Li River, and they confirmed they provide a full set of fishing gear. While not top-of-the-line lure rods, they were perfectly fine for a good experience. I brought my daughter along, and we also tried the hotel's travel photography service; the photographer was great at guiding us with poses. The hotel is right by the Li River, and this morning we even saw cormorants fishing – the hotel said it's a special sight only during Chinese New Year! The room facilities are complete, and all the minibar food and drinks are free. The breakfast rice noodles were also delicious. The location is excellent, making it convenient to visit many attractions. I highly recommend everyone to come and stay!

My kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave, allowing this mom to relax and enjoy the trip.
We stayed in the Little Yellow Duck family room, which came with a tent, plush toys, and various cartoon-themed soft furnishings. They also provided exclusive children's amenities, showing incredible attention to detail – it was so thoughtful! Right outside our room was the hotel's kids' playground, featuring a ball pit slide, a play kitchen area, and a dress-up corner that my daughter adored. She went wild as soon as we entered and I literally couldn't pull her away; she just wanted to stay and play at the hotel!
The hotel also has a gym, an outdoor pool, an outdoor bar, and a self-service laundry room with sterilization and drying functions. Breakfast is served at the Nai Garden Restaurant, and the ambiance speaks for itself – just look at the pictures! It was incredibly picturesque, especially with a bit of rain, giving off strong Monet vibes. The atmosphere was just perfect! I have to praise the hotel breakfast; the value for money is absolutely amazing. For this price, the breakfast spread was so rich, including Guilin's famous oil tea, rice noodles, Western pastries, and Chinese breakfast items. They even offered cups for free takeaway coffee – as a coffee addict, I had two cups to get my day started ☕️.
On the first floor, the hotel lobby also had a Chinese New Year event where my child experienced making hand-printed good fortune paper, and they even framed her artwork as a gift. My daughter was thrilled!
Across from the hotel is a department store, making shopping and exploring very convenient. It's also very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and the Li River scenic area. Elephant Hill Scenic Area, East-West Alley, and Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street are all within walking distance. Guilin, this picturesque and poetic little city, is truly chill and always uplifting. It's super suitable for a city walk with kids!
It takes about 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the highway, which is very convenient. There are many farms around where you can eat and buy local specialties. The hotel is very large, the lobby is magnificent, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The room is spacious and clean, very comfortable. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. The most important thing is the hot spring area of the hotel, which has dozens of pools with clear water. There is also a large infinity pool on the top of the mountain! 👍👍There are also bonfire parties every night, which bring everyone's excitement and enthusiasm to the extreme. 🔥🔥

The scenery is picturesque, with a prime view of the mountains. Opening the window reveals karst peaks, and the infinity pool reflects the green hills. The misty morning view paired with rice noodles is incredibly soothing.
The lawn and minimalist pathways are perfect for photos; you can capture atmospheric, ready-to-post shots right away, and every picture is wallpaper-worthy.
The high-altitude observation deck offers panoramic views of the Yulong River, with pastoral landscapes and mountains stretching as far as the eye can see.
The wooden-themed room is minimalist and super comfortable; you can simply lie back and relax.
The kids' club is fantastic: slides, a ball pit, and a swimming pool. The kids can burn off energy all day, giving parents a well-deserved break.

There was a bit of an unpleasant incident during check-in. We arrived around 3:30 PM, and they told us the room wasn't ready yet and asked us to wait. So we went for afternoon tea. However, even after finishing tea and returning at 4:40 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Since we were only staying one night in Nanning and were eager to visit Sanjie Liangxiang, I unapologetically insisted on getting into the room first to put away our clothes and luggage. The room and afternoon tea were both fantastic, and the location is excellent, with a Ferris wheel visible from our room at night. If it weren't for the check-in hiccup, I would have given a perfect score. It's right next to Parkson, and convenient for both the subway and taxis. Breakfast was also quite rich and tasty. When we left, they even gave us a L'Occitane travel-sized toiletries set.

AAnonymous UserStepping in, I thought I'd arrived at a fake Shangri-La. It's quite an old hotel, facing an unfinished building, and the environment was the worst I've experienced at any Shangri-La. Two of the welcome fruits had rotten spots, they weren't cleaned properly, and felt sticky, so I didn't dare eat them. I even thought the bottled water was fake because there was some condensation around the neck. The duvet was quite old, and the room itself was old and dim. The backyard was okay, and the breakfast was very good though.

__WeChat267106****I originally thought that since I was traveling with a friend, we could just book any place to make do. But wow! I absolutely have to give this hotel a great review. The value for money is incredibly high. During the off-season, they upgraded my friend and me to a better room. The customer service was also excellent; any questions we had were answered patiently by the staff. The hotel's location is also very convenient. The first time we went out, we didn't quite figure out the way to West Street, haha, we walked back and forth a couple of times, but it's really close. Plus, right down from the hotel entrance, there are many bars, and most of the smaller bars are in that area. I mean, who else's drinking DNA just got activated? 😂 There's also a rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset, which is great if you have the time to sit and relax.

GGuest UserWe arrived by boat from Guilin, so we chose this hotel because it's just a 10-minute walk from the pier. The hotel's facilities are great, and both the Western and Chinese restaurants serve delicious food. The rooftop view is lovely, and you can even see the Li River from the third-floor rooms. They have everything you could need, including washing machines, dryers, and even a shoe washer. But the best part was the incredible service: they folded our dry clothes after we went out, reheated our takeout, and even mailed forgotten children's items to our next hotel after we checked out. It was a very satisfying experience!

GGuest UserTraveling with my family, we booked the family room with bunk beds, which the kids absolutely loved. The room itself was in a relatively secluded and quiet spot. The hotel's location is excellent, right by Twin Towers Lake, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast area transforms into a Chinese restaurant in the evening, offering stunning views from the top floor with live cooking stations – tasty and hygienic. The service exceeded our expectations; from pre-arrival confirmation and parking guidance to the friendly front desk, help with luggage, dinner reservations, and responsive concierge service, everything was perfect. The hotel also offers intangible cultural heritage craft experiences, and they even gave us a souvenir upon departure. Regarding facilities, it would be great if there was an additional chair in the room, and the night light was far too bright; a softer glow would be more appropriate for a night light.

MM26106****The hotel's location just a few hundred meters from the attractions is incredibly convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic, and even though we had a small hiccup, it was perfectly resolved. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but the service and cleanliness are good, it's easy to get around, and it's great value for money. A special shout-out to the landlady, her service attitude was superb!

MMengmengdadetiancaiThis guesthouse is the reason we're returning to Yangshuo. After staying here in the winter of 2024, I couldn't stop thinking about it, so here we are again in winter 2026.
**Facilities:** Even after two years, the guesthouse walls, furniture, bathroom fixtures, and shower glass are all exceptionally well-maintained (unlike many guesthouses where the photos on Ctrip are taken right after renovation, and the reality is often disappointing).
**Hygiene:** My immediate impression was that I could confidently let my child touch anything, and I felt comfortable taking my time showering in the bathroom. The owner provides Dettol disinfectant for laundry and disinfectant wipes in the restroom – she's clearly someone with high standards and great attention to detail.
**Environment:** Located right by the Li River, the guesthouse boasts natural beauty. The owner has prepared various tour itineraries for guests, and the information for Ruyi Peak has also been updated.
**Service:** The owner is fully dedicated to managing the guesthouse 24/7, and the service remains excellent. The downstairs kitchen offers clean and delicious food! I highly recommend the fried wild small fish; it's so tasty, and the oil used for frying is very clean.
While many guesthouses are beautifully decorated, few have such a warm atmosphere. As my child said, coming here feels safe and relaxing. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance.

AArka BiswasPerhaps one of the best hotels you can find in all of Yangshuo and Guilin combined.
Location – the hotel is located 5 min from the Yangshuo city and yet in a more peaceful quiet rural setting. Its 5 min from the scenic area of the Yulong rivers as well. Lots of parking spaces if required.
Services – the services by the staff can be compared to a 5 star hotel standards. When arriving we were greeted well and were given options of rooms to choose from with free upgrades with beautiful view .See picture below. The front desk lady was superb with information in and around Yangshuo , bought tickets for us for several venues . Even borrowed us her own private scooter to drive around the scenic area. Breakfast was delicious and the cook was very generous.
Hotel- the hotel is quite well designed , although its small but the color pallet is quite soothing. Well furnished and the bed was really comfortable and clean. Slept really well throughout the night.
Overall , it’s a great deal considering the price and services and recommend it.
