AAnonymous UserThis was my second stay at Studio City Macau. I originally chose it hoping my kids could experience the indoor water park, but due to a packed schedule, we ended up not going and focused mostly on shopping. The hotel's location and amenities are definitely convenient, but the weekend premium is just too high. This time, the Celebrity Tower room cost nearly 2800 RMB. Compared to my previous stay in the Star Tower, I didn't feel any corresponding improvement in service despite the room upgrade. The overall service was quite average, definitely not up to five-star hotel standards. There was no attentive service, not even basic turndown service. It felt very procedural and impersonal. Honestly, if you're just going for the water park, you could totally stay at another hotel with better value for money and just buy individual tickets to the park – it would be more cost-effective. This hotel might be acceptable when prices are under 1000 RMB on weekdays, but paying almost 3000 RMB for one night really isn't worth it; the value for money is pretty low. I made a spontaneous decision when booking because my child had SATs, and there weren't many rooms left even three weeks in advance. If you're taking the SATs at the Escola Kao Yip exam center, I'd recommend New Oriental Landmark Hotel. It's just a short walk through an underpass to the school. I redeemed points and only paid a little over 600 RMB per night, saving more than 500 RMB – excellent value! It's in the old district, so it's not as bustling as hotels in Taipa, but it has King Cafe downstairs, which is perfect for kids rushing to an exam in the morning. Compared to many hotels in tier-3 and tier-4 cities in mainland China, service is becoming increasingly thoughtful and personalized. In contrast, these major five-star hotels in Macau still have a significant gap in service awareness and warmth. My overall experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Just choose according to your needs. I also want to specifically mention the deposit issue. I checked in on March 14th and authorized the deposit via VISA. I've been back in Shanghai for several days now, and the deposit still hasn't been refunded. After inquiring with Ctrip, I was told I'd have to wait a month for it to be returned. This is the slowest deposit refund I've ever experienced in all my hotel stays, both domestically and internationally. Many places no longer even require a deposit, yet this hotel, with a 2800 RMB per night room, still charges a 1000 MOP deposit and has such a slow refund process. It's truly inexplicable and greatly detracts from the overall experience. And speaking of last year, we stayed here in February too, and compared to the New Year decorations last year, that moving red zodiac snake installation was absolutely stunning and created such a great atmosphere, whereas this year it was just a plain white carriage, much more uninspired in design. There was none of the thoughtfulness or highlights of previous years, and the overall impression was significantly worse.

YYee11Had a fantastic stay at YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Macao. The hotel feels modern, classy, and well-maintained, with a stylish design that gives a premium vibe the moment you step in. One of my favourite parts was the beautiful sea-facing view towards Hengqin, which made the stay extra relaxing. My room was very spacious and comfortable, and I loved having a private balcony to enjoy the view. The highlight for me was definitely the huge bathtub — perfect for unwinding after a full day out. The amenities were also great, with stable Wi-Fi, mini-bar, and in-room entertainment, making it a very complete and luxurious stay overall. If you’re booking the Suite King, do note that these rooms are usually limited in units and are often located near the last few rooms on each floor, likely because of the bigger room size and layout. So it’s best to book early if you want to secure this room type. I also enjoyed the facilities, especially the outdoor pool and fitness centre. The hotel is also family-friendly with a kids’ pool and play area, which makes it a great choice if you’re travelling with children. If you’re looking for extra relaxation, the spa treatments are a nice touch too. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service, which makes travelling to nearby attractions more convenient. However, one small downside is that if you’re coming by public transport, you may need to walk a bit from the nearest LRT station to reach the hotel.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was pretty mediocre, kind of like what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel or a budget chain in mainland China. My neighbors were a bit noisy, even though it was brief, it was still pretty awkward; my kid was blushing. Everything else was fine. The food at the ice cream parlor downstairs was delicious. The curry was light and suited my taste, and the crispy bone noodles were really good and worth recommending. The service was also very attentive.

SSuannaShelkenThe hotel's environment is fantastic! The sea is right behind it, offering beautiful scenery and fresh air. The room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The staff's service attitude was excellent! Everyone was friendly and patiently answered our questions about tourist attractions. It's right next to Fisherman's Wharf and a bus stop, and across from Sands Casino, where you can catch free shuttle buses to downtown attractions and other casinos!

GGuest UserMy stay at The Venetian Macao was absolutely beautiful and truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. The room was amazing — spacious, comfortable, and elegant, with lovely details that made the stay feel luxurious and relaxing. One of the highlights was the stunning light show, which created such a magical atmosphere and added to the overall experience. The shopping was also incredible, with so many stores, restaurants, and things to see, making it easy to spend hours exploring without getting bored. Traveling to and from the hotel was extremely convenient. The ferry shuttles were easy to find, well organized, and very affordable, which made getting around Macau simple and stress-free. Overall, The Venetian Macao exceeded expectations — a beautiful destination with excellent service, amazing facilities, and a truly enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again.

GGuest UserOur family trip to Macau for Chinese New Year was fantastic, and the hotel experience was top-notch! We arrived before the official check-in time, and the front desk staff, Lulu, saw that I had elderly parents and children with me, so she arranged an early check-in for us. She even coordinated with the back office regarding our booking – the service was just excellent. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Lisboa, and public transport nearby is easily accessible. Plus, the Western restaurant next to the hotel is really great too.

FFengkuangdezhuRebeccaUpon checking in, the lady staff member warmly spent half an hour showing us to our room and introducing us to everything Macau has to offer, from dining and entertainment to shopping. In the evening, there was turn-down service, and they neatly arranged all my belongings. I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw my tech bag – every single cable was coiled up and organized, and they even provided a mouse pad for my mouse! Housekeeping really went above and beyond! 👍 The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every staff member I encountered throughout the entire Galaxy complex, from the shopping mall to the hotel, was incredibly nice and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Grand Lisboa and Wynn hotels. In the evenings, you can easily walk over to catch the Wynn's Golden Tree show and see the treasures in the Grand Lisboa's lobby. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, St. Dominic's Church, and Mount Fortress. The room size is decent, and the price is reasonable, making it a hotel with good value for money in Macau.

GGuest UserThis veteran five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation. The room was exceptionally clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's service was a definite highlight; staff would personally guide me wherever I needed to go, and repeatedly reminded me about steps when going up or down. Whatever I needed, the hotel staff would deliver it promptly, making me feel right at home. Oh, and the hotel's breakfast buffet was delicious! While the variety wasn't huge, every dish was tasty.
