Romantic Hotels in Shandong, China

This was my first trip to Qingdao, and booking the Hyatt Regency was definitely the smartest choice. 1. The location is excellent; it's right across from the sea, and you can even walk to May Fourth Square. 2. The service is superb, from check-in to our butler, Elaine, who checked in daily on our experience and promptly resolved any issues. We even received a lovely surprise gift, which made the experience truly exceptional. 3. Traveling during the off-season also meant great value for money. If I come back to Qingdao, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. My family was very satisfied too.

I stayed at this hotel apartment last year and chose to stay here again this year. The room was exceptionally comfortable. I booked a sea view suite, and the ocean scenery was absolutely stunning. It's conveniently located near the subway station, making getting around quick and easy! I had to go deep-sea fishing early the next morning, so staying by the sea in the city was also more convenient. I think I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Qingdao! 👍

This is an absolute gem among all the hotels I've stayed in over 15 years of traveling across 40 countries. The design of the rooms, corridors, and common areas is stunning and truly unique. There’s an arcade machine in the room with Nintendo games from my childhood… It feels like the hotel owner's personal signature style - and it's the most amazing highlight of this place! A special afternoon tea with fantastic cookies is a wonderful service. Breakfast is usually a buffet, as far as I understand, but on the day of my stay, there was no buffet, and breakfast was served individually for each guest. Still, it was very good and filling. The location is excellent - right next to the bus station. That means you can check in immediately after arriving from the airport by airport bus, or leave your luggage if you arrive early. Getting anywhere in the city is also easy, quick and cheap by local buses. The room was very comfortable: quiet and very warm (I stayed during the cold season), exceptionally clean, with a great bathroom, and everything was in perfect condition. The bed was very comfortable with amazingly soft pillows worthy of a high-end hotel - and they even provide several pillows with different levels of softness! The staff's attitude toward guests is excellent: I'm a light sleeper, and quietness is important to me, but in Asia this is often a problem even in expensive hotels. So when booking, I requested a quiet room on a high floor and away from the elevator - and my wishes were fulfilled perfectly. And for all of this, the price is simply incredible. This hotel is worth traveling to Yantai just to stay here! Overall, it's a masterpiece. The only places I've seen that are better are classic five-star hotels, but even they don't have such outstanding interior design and arcade machines. 😊 And if you were born in the 1980s, you absolutely have to stay at this hotel to play the games of your childhood on a real arcade machine right in your room. 😊

I've chosen MGM many times, and this stay was the most satisfying. A huge thanks to the professional and thoughtful butler, the lovely Doris, for upgrading me to an unbeatable sea-view room (who understands the joy of watching the sea bathed in morning sunlight? 🌅). The complimentary Christmas-themed scrawled little lion also added to the festive double holiday atmosphere 🎄🦁. The hotel's hardware facilities are excellent, and I really loved the vintage red tones of the room this time. The various 'Hermès orange' items and擺件 were also very bright. The HONG bar on the first floor has live music, and having a drink with friends there really set the perfect mood 🍸. As my last trip of the year, this experience was truly both romantic and warm 💜. I hope happiness continues to accompany me in the new year 🌈.

My stay at the Wyndham was exceptional. Staff picked us up at the train station as well as dropped us off after our stay. The hotel is a bit outside of the city center but it's easy to get around using didi. They also have a convenience store which is quite useful since there's not a lot nearby. Room was amazing and service was great. Easily the best value for money I've ever seen. Highly recommended to local and foreign travelers. We liked the hotel so much we stayed an extra day in Tai'an after climbing Mount Tai.

Second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and is the best part of the trip. The staff are also accommodating. It’s hard to communicate but as long as you have the translation app on your phone, it will work out. However, the amenities of the hotel is on the older side. They need to update it to become more modern. Bring your own toiletries as the ones they have are drying on the skin and hair. The air-conditioning was not working properly. Though they tried to fix it by wheeling in a portable AC. It still ran hot most days.

The architecture is magnificent; standing before the grand lobby, one can't help but feel transported back to the glorious Tang Dynasty, an era imagined to be of immense prosperity and contentment, where every family thrived. The hotel's service is impeccable, striking the perfect balance – never overbearing, never lacking. It's like a perfectly blended juice: not too sweet, not cloying, just smooth and delightful. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and the tropical rainforest in the atrium truly sets a delightful mood, making everything even more appetizing. You genuinely have to put the brakes on, or you'll easily overeat and regret it! If you're feeling bogged down by work stress and things aren't going your way, and you need a change of scenery, then Jimo Ancient City Junlan Hotel is definitely a choice worth considering.

Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped. A minor drawback is that the toilet isn't smart, and the shower door doesn't close completely. However, the water pressure for the shower was excellent. Hygiene: The hygiene was superb, meeting five-star hotel standards. Environment: The hotel environment is fantastic, especially the revolving restaurant, which is very unique. Breakfast was also great with a wide variety of options. Service: The service was very attentive and warm. They even offered turn-down service late at night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I was truly impressed by the hotel's attention to detail during this stay; it was a comfortable experience from check-in to check-out. The front desk lady had such a warm smile; she not only processed our check-in quickly but also proactively upgraded us to a room with a view. She patiently explained the hotel's facilities and even shared detailed recommendations for nearby restaurants. Her service was genuinely enthusiastic without being overbearing, making us feel instantly at home. The room itself was an even bigger surprise. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked a courtyard surrounded by lush greenery, and it was incredibly quiet at night! From the staff's thoughtful attitude to the stunning environment, everything deserves a perfect score! I've already recommended it to my friends, and it will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Jinan!!!

We stayed in a partial sea view room, and the bedding was incredibly clean and tidy. We had a very comfortable stay during our four days of travel in Qingdao, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It's the consistently excellent standard I've come to expect from Orange Crystal, and the sea view from the window was also stunning. Now, let's talk about the impressive service. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Because the temperature in Qingdao suddenly dropped significantly these past couple of days, my partner developed a fever that evening. The front desk attendant thoughtfully brought a thermometer and even provided an extra duvet. Later, they also sent up a fruit platter, which we didn't let go to waste and finished completely. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.
