I brought my mom to Qingdao for a trip, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient to get to attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, Badaguan, and May Fourth Square. Our room also offered a great sea view. We had a fantastic view from the room we were assigned. The breakfast restaurant even allowed us to enjoy the sunrise over the sea. I particularly want to mention the hotel service; our butler was incredibly warm and attentive, providing local specialties and fruit as a complimentary gift. After extending our stay for another night, we kept receiving pleasant surprises (I'll review those tomorrow). Additionally, the housekeeping auntie was exceptionally warm and proactive. My mom was very satisfied, and I highly recommend this hotel.

A perfect seaside getaway, I'd come back to this hotel countless times! My recent beach vacation was completely blown away by this hotel. From its location to the dining, everything was on point, and every moment felt incredibly healing! The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to May Fourth Square, and you can be on the beach in just a few minutes, avoiding the fatigue of long commutes. Popular attractions are within walking distance, and if you want to catch the evening seascape light show, you don't have to jostle with crowds; you can comfortably enjoy the panoramic view from your room. Lying in bed, the entire blue ocean instantly fills your sight – pure bliss! The room is spacious and stylishly decorated, and the bedding is so soft you won't want to get up. Ocean views paired with delicious food – a feast for the taste buds! The dining experience completely exceeded expectations! The breakfast spread at the sea-view restaurant was so diverse it was hard to choose. Freshly made seafood, wontons, and other specialty dishes were fresh and flavorful. Paired with the ocean view outside the window, it's the perfect start to an energetic day!

Hotel is well located. Behind the hotel was a long distance bus terminal. It is easy to book a long distance trip to Penglai and the 8 mortals sights. The journey takes around 2 hours. If you are coming from Yantai Railway Station the walk is about 15-20 minutes walk to hotel or alternatively there is a public bus stop right in front of the hotel. By taxi CNY 9.00. Check-in staffs are nice and friendly. Hotel room is clean and rather hip too from the main door. A little set-back was the water kettle which I find a bit inconvenient wherever I need to boil water as you need to un-plug the whole kettle and it can’t filled much water. Not the traditional type of water kettle which I feel needed to be upgraded. Overall, a nice hotel to stay.

As a frequent business traveler who often stays in five-star hotels across various cities, I rarely give a hotel my unreserved praise, but the MGM Qingdao has thoroughly impressed me with its near-perfect performance. Its facilities and equipment go beyond mere 'high-end' – they reflect a forward-thinking pursuit of quality: the in-room office area is comfortable and convenient, and the high-speed internet is consistently stable and fast. The fitness center is outfitted with a full suite of Technogym equipment, and the experience of running while facing the ocean is unparalleled. The spa, using industry-leading products and techniques, completely melted away my travel fatigue after a 90-minute deep tissue massage.
The hotel's ambiance exudes a sophisticated, elegant, and energetic atmosphere. On the service front, MGM Qingdao demonstrates the professionalism and efficiency expected of a top-tier hotel. My dedicated butler called me before check-in to inquire about my preferences, and within ten minutes of my arrival, my preferred buckwheat pillow and extra hangers were delivered. The concierge team possesses extensive local knowledge, providing insider tips like 'the best spot to photograph the sunrise over Zhanqiao Pier in the early morning.' From check-in to check-out, every single aspect operated like a finely tuned clock, yet it was also imbued with human warmth.
Without a doubt, MGM Qingdao has set a new benchmark for luxury hotel service in the Shandong region. It will be my undisputed first choice for both future business trips and leisure getaways.

Second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and is the best part of the trip. The staff are also accommodating. It’s hard to communicate but as long as you have the translation app on your phone, it will work out. However, the amenities of the hotel is on the older side. They need to update it to become more modern. Bring your own toiletries as the ones they have are drying on the skin and hair. The air-conditioning was not working properly. Though they tried to fix it by wheeling in a portable AC. It still ran hot most days.

One of the best hotels I have stayed considering everything. I think best choice to stay in Jinan and to avoid generic brands. Good location, Spring square near, shoping center around, beatiful 49th rotating floor breakfast, excellent room, 7 bottles of water:), cheap minibar. Not 100% glamorous, 99%, but with much more heart. Thank you Mr. Harry, Mr. Steve and Mrs Amy for your help and information.
Only one little advice: bar could be open until 23:00

We stayed in a partial sea view room, and the bedding was incredibly clean and tidy. We had a very comfortable stay during our four days of travel in Qingdao, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It's the consistently excellent standard I've come to expect from Orange Crystal, and the sea view from the window was also stunning.
Now, let's talk about the impressive service. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Because the temperature in Qingdao suddenly dropped significantly these past couple of days, my partner developed a fever that evening. The front desk attendant thoughtfully brought a thermometer and even provided an extra duvet. Later, they also sent up a fruit platter, which we didn't let go to waste and finished completely.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

The full ocean view room did not disappoint me at all; stepping downstairs, you're right on Golden Beach with an exclusive private beach. In November, when it's not sunny, the coast truly feels like Northern Europe. The hotel atmosphere is friendly, clean, and comfortable. The overall service was very thoughtful; upon check-in, we received local specialties like apples and pears – a testament to Yantai's excellent produce! After checking in, the service continued to track our stay, always asking about our needs and opinions, and even proactively helped us with a late check-out. It was genuinely considerate.
All hotel staff gave off a friendly and welcoming vibe, making it a very comfortable and satisfying stay.
From here, the coastal boardwalk allows you to walk to the Lonely Whale and Time Library; the boardwalk connects a very long coastline, and the environment is extremely friendly for walk enthusiasts. Just strolling, enjoying the views, and playing with seagulls is a major activity in itself.
I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!
P.S.: The room service from the dining department was incredibly delicious!

My first visit to Qingdao with friends, and we chose Litian Hotel, which left a deep impression on us. My solo trip this time was equally delightful.
The hotel's location, just a 5-minute walk from the sea, allowed even a late riser like me to catch the sunrise over the ocean. For attractions like Wheat Island to Zhanqiao Pier, Litian Hotel is conveniently situated in the middle of Metro Line 3, with the Yan'an 3rd Road subway entrance just a few steps away.
The hotel's breakfast buffet also left a lasting impression on me. The variety was not only rich but also featured local specialties. I particularly loved the pan-fried dumplings, and the beef in their beef noodles was more generous than what you'd get at external ramen shops. Across the street, there's a local restaurant like Shuangheyuan, and nearby, you can find affordable and delicious options like Zanjia Babao Congee.
The hotel's service was incredibly warm. The 3 PM checkout and luggage storage were very convenient for travelers. A good trip certainly requires choosing a good hotel, and among all the hotels I've stayed at, Litian might not be the most spectacular, but it's definitely one of the most memorable.

This five-star hotel is incredibly well-designed, with vibrant and fashionable colors. I love Indigo Hotels, and this one is no exception. The classic spiral staircase, a rich chocolate brown, combined with the deep blue of Golden Beach, really highlights the marine theme throughout the hotel's design. The young, beautiful, stylish, and handsome staff wear various shades of ocean-inspired uniforms. You'll find pebble-inlaid patterns, anchor chains and buoys, room numbers on colorful surfboards, wooden key cards, and iron seaweed dividers in the restaurant. From the moment you approach the hotel, there's lively music playing, extending all the way to the elevators, gym, and restaurant, adding a vibrant energy that perfectly complements the ocean.
We stayed in a garden-view twin room. The next morning, as the sun came out, we could see the sea, Golden Beach, the Yantai Chapel of Love, and the observation tower from our balcony. The hotel basks in the sun, and with the help of the wind, the waves crash beautifully, like a musical composition, some long and drawn out, others short and sharp, kissing the fine golden sand. The five-star service is exceptional; even the cleaning staff are friendly and proactive. The hotel offers special Swiss rolls, which need to be ordered in advance.
Just a few hundred meters walk to the right from the hotel entrance is Hou Sha Plaza, featuring a glass skywalk. To the left is the Yantai Chapel of Love, and observation staircases are spaced along the beach. A bit further on are two whale sculptures, and beyond that, the Lonely Whale, not far from which is the Time Tower. We bought tickets for the Time Tower on-site, 59 RMB per ticket. The staff informed us that the free admission from 7 AM to 9 AM, which starts in November, has been canceled, so now all visits to the tower and library require a ticket. I absolutely adore the sea. The temperature was a bit low this time, and it was windy, but the ocean was an even deeper blue, with clusters of waves crashing, and occasionally a seagull swooping by. It was wonderful to have the beach almost to ourselves. I hope this seaside hotel continues to be even more warm, beautiful, and romantic.

AAnonymous UserThe environment of the community is good, but the furniture in the room is a bit old, the sofa is torn, and the floor is peeling. The bathroom is so big, but the shower room is so small. It is difficult for a fat person to turn around. There are ants crawling in the bathroom. It is equipped as a B&B. There were very few things, including no laundry detergent. The suitcase had to be dragged along a relatively uneven decorative road, which was very inconvenient. The wheels were very worn and noisy. The security guy's service is better than that at the front desk. Not cost effective
AAnonymous UserBefore leaving Beijing, I booked the Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel on Ctrip. Although the online review was only 4.1, I still firmly chose this hotel. Later, it was confirmed that my choice was absolutely correct. The hotel is good in all aspects and must be given 100 points. 1. The hotel is in a good location. You can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed, face the sea, blow the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a private beach. The elevator goes to the B1 floor and you can walk to the lighthouse, Lily Bay, Children's Palace, Sakura Lake, Seaside Park, etc. along the beach. You can also take the bus No. 117 or No. 289 in front of the door. Bus No. 117 goes directly to Huaxing Bridge, a popular check-in place. 2. The hotel lobby is magnificent and unique, with the most distinctive various bear toys, which are posed differently every day. In addition, you can watch the sea from the public platform on each floor of the hotel, and there is a children's playground on each floor, which is suitable for walking babies. 3. The hotel has a variety of breakfasts, roasted tobacco potatoes, meat sauce buns, and fried dough sticks must be tasted, and different fruits are served every day. Lunch and dinner can also be served at the hotel, the dishes taste good and the price is reasonable. 4. There are churches, sun umbrellas, and rest cabins on the beach of the hotel, which is warm and romantic. 4. It takes 10 minutes by taxi from Rongcheng High-speed Railway Station to the hotel. I originally planned to stay for 3 days, but then I extended my stay for 2 days. I strongly recommend friends who go to Rongcheng to stay at Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel, which is definitely worth experiencing and you will definitely linger after the experience.

GGuest UserMy Stay at XX Hotel: A Perfect Trip Beyond Expectations! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I just finished a three-day stay at XX Hotel and I can't wait to share my delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm atmosphere and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome. The front desk staff greeted us with smiles, handled check-in efficiently, and thoughtfully provided information about the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions.
🛏️ Room Experience: Impeccable Attention to Detail!
The guest room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was flawless – crisp white linens, a bathroom with a separate wet/dry area completely free of water stains, and not a speck of dust even in the corners. What truly stood out was the incredibly comfortable mattress and the variety of pillows, which ensured I had a wonderfully restful night's sleep. The room was also equipped with a smart control system (e.g., voice-activated lighting and curtains), perfectly blending technology with user-friendliness.
🍽️ Dining & Facilities: Abundant and Convenient!
The breakfast spread was extensive, offering everything from Western and Chinese options to local specialties. The restaurant had an elegant ambiance with great views, truly providing a feast for both the palate and the eyes. The hotel also boasts a 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities, which are incredibly convenient for business travelers.
💝 Service: A Truly Homely Warmth!
What impressed me most was the hotel's exceptionally warm service. On my second day, I unexpectedly caught a cold, and the housekeeping staff noticed, proactively bringing ginger tea and cold medicine to my room. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave us local specialty snacks as a thoughtful farewell gift. This kind of above-and-beyond care truly touched me.
📍 Location & Transport: Extremely Convenient!
The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of several attractions and subway stations. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel.
In summary, this stay completely exceeded my expectations and offered excellent value for money! Without hesitation, I've added XX Hotel to my 'must-stay-again' list, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by many aspects of our experience. The room is very spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need—except, perhaps, a teapot for brewing tea. However, the complimentary drinks in the fridge more than made up for this minor inconvenience.
Every day, the hotel staff surprised us with a small gift, making us feel genuinely warm and welcomed. During our stay, we were delighted by the gorgeous Christmas decorations that added a festive touch to the ambiance.
While the location may not be ideal for those relying on the metro, the hotel provides a convenient pickup service from the station. Additionally, there are bus stops nearby, allowing easy access to the town center within 20 minutes.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering a wide range of both Western and Chinese dishes, including hot plates, cold plates, and even desserts. It took us three days to try all the delicious options available.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its excellent service. The staff are incredibly polite and proactive in addressing any needs you might have. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this hotel to others.

GGuest UserHotel location is good, not very far from attractions. Good service and breakfast! Cleaner lady is very friendly and helpful.
Downside: it’s very old and needs renovation! The lobby looks dark and old, only four seats at the lobby and mostly occupied. Should have put more chairs for people to sit and rest! Washing machines and the dryer are not functioning well, the weather was hot so we needed to wash cloth often, it took a few hours to wash and dry, very inconvenient!
TTim in ChinaExcellent hotel, I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely will do so next time I’m back in Tai’an. I live in China but brought my parents here to visit Taishan and this hotel was perfect for them.
The staff were friendly and helpful, Anna in the lounge and Cece at the front desk both helped answer questions and provided great customer service.
The rooms were beautiful with high ceilings, comfortable furnishings and everything was spotless. I particularly appreciated the large bathroom mirror and rainfall shower.
The location of the hotel is conveniently near lots of restaurants, shopping options and massage parlors. Also only a 10-15 min drive from the rail stations, mountain and city temple, making getting around quick and simple.
Two extra perks, the swimming pool is great and the high speed rail makes it easy to get to Tai’an (we had a 4 hour ride from Shanghai) or nearby Qufu (20min ride to Qufu east station).
HHenry0110[Location & Transport] Perfect! It's right inside the Daming Lake scenic area, with lake views and weeping willows outside the window. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Baotu Spring and Furong Street, saving a ton of travel time. The hotel shuttle bus takes you to and from the hotel when checking in and out, so you don't have to lug your suitcases around – that's a really thoughtful touch.
[Room Experience] The lakeside tatami tea area was a pleasant surprise; sitting there in the evening, enjoying the lake breeze and drinking tea, was incredibly comfortable. The room is supplied with spring water, which tastes fresher than regular bottled water and is a nice touch unique to Jinan. The bedding was clean and soft, making for a very relaxing stay.
[Service & Other] The front desk was very efficient, and the staff were genuinely attractive! Whether it was checking in or asking for directions to attractions, they were very patient. The overall service was attentive without being overbearing.
