The room design is quite traditional and dated, and there's no coffee machine. The semi-open closet is impractical; after showering, I had nowhere to hang my bath towel, so I had to use a hanger inside the wardrobe. The service, however, was excellent. The front desk upgraded us to a room with executive lounge access, which was perfect for the three of us to have tea and chat. The young lady at the executive lounge provided exceptional service, truly commendable. Housekeeping was also great; when I asked for more bottled water, they brought a whole bag of it. It's quite surprising that the hotel doesn't have robots. I asked a staff member for a razor, and they also offered complimentary shoe shining, with pickup and delivery service. The hotel's design is traditional, and the service style is typical of an older, established hotel, probably due to its brand heritage. The coffee at breakfast was aromatic and delicious. The room came with Chinese tea sets and loose-leaf tea, which was a nice touch. They use JO LOVES toiletries, which are lovely and leave the room smelling wonderful after use. The location is good, and it's not expensive. I'd definitely choose this place again when traveling with friends; it's very convenient for dining and sightseeing.

Hotel is situated at a very convenient location with the main shopping street 滨江道 opposite. There are also plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Initially I was worried about the central heating during winter (Nov to Mar) which there is no cooling from their aircon, and it worsen when i was checking in when there are people checking out due to too hot. But our receptionist has arrange a cooler room for us where it does not face the sun and also has a humidifier that can put ice inside for cooling. Furthermore there is a small window on top that can be opened and with the high level, the room is cold and comfortable. The room is beautiful and huge and well kept by the room service everyday. The bathroom is huge with a huge bathtub which my kids love and the scenery is beautiful. ******* food delivery is also convenient as they got robot to send up. All in all, the room is very valuable for the price and i really love every single night in the hotel.

During New Year's Day, I had my first stay at the Astor Hotel in Tianjin, a hotel with a profound sense of history. While it had its commendable aspects, there were also numerous shortcomings that urgently need improvement. I was particularly disappointed with the hotel's facility maintenance and service management, and I am providing this feedback accordingly. First, let's discuss the hotel's advantages and highlights. The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Haihe River, with a dazzling array of high-rise buildings across the bank. As night falls, the city lights create a vibrant, New York Manhattan-esque urban atmosphere, making for a superb night view. Transportation is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to Tianjin's core cultural and tourism areas like Jiefang North Road and the Five Avenues. The surrounding old buildings are rich in heritage and diverse in style, allowing you to fully experience the city's charm by strolling through them. Furthermore, the interior of the rooms maintains the hotel's historical tone, with a unique vintage design that showcases its heritage in every detail. The immersive experience during my stay was truly impressive. However, compared to its highlights, the problems exposed by the hotel are far more prominent, particularly in service management and facility maintenance. These issues are severely inconsistent with the hotel's historical reputation and positioning, which is unacceptable. In terms of service management, the overall service awareness was extremely weak, lacking the professionalism and etiquette expected of a high-end hotel. Only the front desk staff at check-in showed acceptable attitudes; the service experience in all other areas could be described as perfunctory: the foreign doorman did not proactively offer guidance or greetings, and I never received even a basic greeting from any hotel staff I encountered. Throughout my stay, there was a pervasive sense of coldness and detachment, completely disregarding the guest experience, which is entirely at odds with the hotel's brand character. Even more off-putting were the chaotic service issues in the hotel's museum. As a potentially chargeable ancillary venue, it should be an important place to showcase the hotel's history and culture and enhance guest experience. Yet, there were instances of staff dereliction of duty: two male and one female staff member were clustered together, chatting loudly and heedlessly even with visitors nearby. They even obstructed the projection video playback area for extended periods without proactively moving. Another male staff member was sitting on a museum sofa watching videos with the volume turned up so high that it drowned out the hotel's introductory video, severely disrupting visitors' experience and destroying the venue's tranquil atmosphere and cultural immersion. It's hard to imagine how such a level of service management could befitting of a high-end hotel with historical depth, and even harder to understand why a charged venue would tolerate such lax management and inappropriate service. Regarding facility maintenance, 'vintage' should never be an excuse for 'outdated facilities and lack of maintenance.' Various facilities in my hotel room clearly showed signs of inadequate maintenance, and oversights in detail severely diminished the overall guest experience: the towel rack was loose and wobbly, almost on the verge of falling off, posing a safety hazard; the sink faucet made noticeable abnormal noises when turned on and off, suggesting aging parts that haven't been replaced in time; switching shower head modes was very difficult and inconvenient, affecting daily use. Moreover, the wardrobe's space planning was highly unreasonable. While it's understandable to embed a safe within the wardrobe, it didn't adequately consider practical usage, directly occupying a significant portion of hanging space, making it inconvenient to store clothes. This highlights a perfunctory approach in both design and management—neither considering the practicality of facilities nor making timely adjustments, completely disregarding guest comfort. As a hotel steeped in historical heritage and held in high regard, the Astor Hotel Tianjin should have balanced the preservation of its historical charm with professional service and comprehensive facilities. However, during this stay, the lax service management and lack of facility maintenance not only failed to meet guest expectations but also damaged the hotel's brand reputation. I hope the hotel will address these issues, acknowledge legitimate guest feedback, strengthen staff service training and etiquette standards, improve its service management system, and thoroughly inspect and rectify all facility hazards. It should also carry out regular maintenance, optimize space planning and facility layouts to truly achieve 'a sense of history without feeling old, and historical depth with professional service,' living up to its brand legacy and guests' trust.

First off, we got an upgrade to a 180-degree river view room, though there were a few hiccups along the way. **Facilities:** The room has a classic business style, which looks decent, but the equipment is a bit dated. Adjusting the hot and cold water in the bathroom is the slowest I've ever encountered; you really need patience, as it takes forever to respond after each adjustment. The bathroom itself is old and needs a renovation. There were only tissues in the bathroom, none in the main room. **Service:** Perhaps because there were so many guests, the front desk service was just 'adequate.' Neither of the two front desk staff who checked us in mentioned the breakfast time or location, and I had to go back and ask them later. The room service staff were very enthusiastic, but they knocked on the door two or three times every day to deliver evening tea and turn down the bed. The service was great, but having to get up and open the door each time was a bit inconvenient. **Breakfast:** Personally, I think the breakfast restaurant was the most impressive part. Firstly, the staff at the entrance maintained a very stable and positive demeanor. This hotel hosts conferences, so there were many people dining in the morning, and some guests were indeed difficult. However, the staff remained unaffected by their moods, answering questions attentively without being cold. Why do I say it was impressive? In many hotels, breakfast chefs tend to just go through the motions, often appearing a bit sluggish because breakfast starts early. But here, the chefs seemed full of energy and very proactive in their work, presenting a refreshing and positive attitude. The breakfast selection was extensive, almost foolproof, and everything tasted quite good, especially the desserts. They blended Chinese and Western characteristics; the Western desserts weren't overly sweet, and the flavors leaned towards a balanced middle ground. I recommend the brownies and donuts. The downside was the coffee, which was terrible, but the tea was excellent. Fairly speaking, considering the hotel brand, location, and the view, the overall price felt reasonable, but you shouldn't evaluate it by Marriott International standards.

Banyan Tree never disappoints! The hygiene is excellent and the service is warm and friendly. This particular hotel is in the city center. A 10-minute walk to the left takes you to the Italian Style Area, while a walk to the right leads to Lion Grove Bridge and the Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel looks stunning at night. The location is truly superior. They even provided a birthday cake and decorations for my birthday. The breakfast is also very rich and diverse, served from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's about a ten-minute walk from Tianjin Station. The rooms are on a high floor, offering great views. Jiefang Bridge and Century Clock are right downstairs, very close by. After crossing the bridge, you'll reach Jinwan Plaza and Bujiang Road, which are major commercial centers. There's an outdoor and underground parking lot available downstairs. It's about a one-kilometer walk to the Italian Style Street. For short trips, it's very convenient whether you're driving, walking, or taking public transportation. The breakfast is also quite substantial.

I've stayed here many times, so I guess you could call me a regular. The hotel environment is really nice and clean, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation and a smart toilet. The hotel's toiletries are also good and comfortable to use. Behind the hotel is Tianjin Jingyuan (I think, I forgot the exact name). I get to enjoy the view every morning when I wake up. The hotel breakfast is of good quality; I basically eat it every time I stay. The hotel also has a parking lot, with free parking for guests. You just scan a QR code daily for free access. Everything is super clean, whether it's the front desk, elevator, hallway, rooms, or the 15th-floor restaurant. In all my stays, I've never seen anything dirty (personal experience). The room also comes with a scale (underneath the towels by the sink) and a mini-fridge (with two free drinks inside). It has Xiaodu smart home features. There's also a tea set and tea table (small size). The price is very reasonable too. All in all, it's a hidden gem of a hotel. I welcome everyone to check it out and see if I'm right!

I spent the weekend here with my parents for a relaxing getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment! The room was absolutely beautiful, featuring a modern European design and spotlessly clean; we fell in love with it the moment we walked in. It came with a fully equipped kitchen, boasting high-end appliances, and a Bosch washing machine. While laundry detergent isn't typically provided, the staff kindly brought a small packet when I asked, which I truly appreciated. (I left the remaining detergent on the washing machine after checking out.) The breakfast spread was incredibly lavish, offering a wide variety of delicious options! The evening food at the Executive Lounge was exquisite and tasty, easily serving as a satisfying dinner. The hotel's location is also extremely convenient, with Luneng City shopping mall practically on its doorstep and Water Park just a stone's throw away. Overall, this was an exceptionally pleasant and relaxing experience. A big thank you to Conrad Tianjin!

The location is excellent. The subway station is right next door, and the train station and the Century Clock are just across the bridge. The surrounding area features a cluster of old buildings, including former bank premises, the Tianjin Post Museum, the Bank of China Museum, and the Zizhulin Church. The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast room is spacious, and the breakfast spread is quite rich, offering freshly made jianbing (Chinese crepes) among other items. There's also a coffee machine in the lobby. The TV, Wi-Fi, hot water, and room layout are all very good. My only suggestion is for the C and H letters on the showerhead in the bathroom; they are hard to see. It took me a long time to make them out, so perhaps they could be made more prominent.

Bbabyray0811An absolutely perfect stay that exceeded my expectations! Staying at your hotel was truly a wonderful surprise, and I just had to write a long review to commend you all: Firstly, the service was absolutely impeccable. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the bellhop was enthusiastically there to help with our luggage. The front desk staff handled our check-in with exceptional efficiency and a warm smile, making us feel instantly at home. When we casually asked about a quieter room, they not only patiently checked for us but also proactively offered a complimentary room upgrade. This thoughtfulness truly left a deep impression on me. Upon entering the room, we were even more delighted. The room was incredibly spacious and tidy. The bedding was excellent, and the mattress had the perfect balance of softness and support, providing a wonderful, enveloping feeling. I slept soundly through the night, waking up refreshed and with all my travel fatigue gone. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, and the water pressure was strong and steady, making a hot shower incredibly relaxing. The attention to detail was also impressive, with a pillow menu offering various choices, clearly demonstrating the hotel's dedication. The hotel's location is also superb, making dining and shopping very convenient. Getting to the main attractions was also easy. Finally, I must praise the breakfast. The variety was extensive, combining both Chinese and Western options. The local specialty snacks, in particular, were very authentic, and the fruits were fresh, ensuring a vibrant start to the day. During check-out, the staff thoughtfully inquired about our stay and even presented us with a small souvenir. This stay far surpassed my expectations and was definitely great value for money! I have already highly recommended it to my friends, and without hesitation, I will choose to stay here again the next time I visit this city!

JJanet0704For our summer vacation trip with two children, we typically opt for a serviced apartment. This property, despite opening in 2016, was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We chose a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with separate living and dining areas, which felt very spacious and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally helpful; I accidentally left my sunglasses in the room, and they promptly contacted me and arranged for them to be shipped back. Although the hotel's breakfast is outsourced, it still offered a good variety. The serviced apartment also boasts a fantastic location, being very close to the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient.

AAnonymous UserChose Guanhu for a relaxing New Year's Eve getaway! 🥰🥰 As soon as I entered the hotel gardens, I was deeply impressed by its magnificent exterior, truly feeling like I was in a medieval manor castle. The living areas are in the main building, and the interior decor is also very grand. What was most satisfying was the spacious layout of the high-ceilinged room and the bright, comfortable bathroom facilities – it really lives up to being a hot spring hotel, as the water comes out at a temperature close to body heat. Besides this, the hotel's New Year's Eve activities were also very fun, and the hotel concierge was incredibly thoughtful 🥰🥰. I highly recommend everyone to experience the different outdoor hot spring pools at the spa center, with both warm and hot options, while also enjoying the wide variety of buffet meals offered there! I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

QQianzhuodichangMy stay in a river view room at the Haihe Holiday Hotel was simply perfect. The location is excellent, right next to the Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel, offering unparalleled views of the Haihe River. Looking out the window at the sparkling river surface was incredibly calming. The room itself was spacious and bright, well-equipped with all amenities, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive and responsive to all requests. The overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, making it the perfect choice for relaxation. Plus, the price was reasonable, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back here if I get the chance.

XXiaomaosqI stayed with my kids on the weekend. The room was spacious and the 2.7-meter bed was not crowded for a family of four. There was a small slide and a twisting car in the room, and the two kids had a lot of fun playing. I asked for an extra quilt and two pairs of slippers when I checked in, and they were delivered quickly. When I checked out, I was given a souvenir. The service was very good, and the kids said they would come again next time!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location. It is very close to the subway station and the shopping attractions nearby. But the hotel is a bit not very easy to find. If there is no phone, you can't contact it at all. There is no way to check in according to the above address. Then the hotel is generally a little like the light is broken. The cleaning is not true. Paper towels are also sent back, or two cans of shampoo for you, etc., it is OK to barely make do for one night.
