This is our third time staying at Pan Pacific Tianjin. A big shout-out to Tang Qian, the supervisor at breakfast, for her superb service! She not only met our needs but also made sure we felt well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with fresh ingredients and attentive service – we were very satisfied. During the Chinese New Year, they even added Tianjin's famous local snacks, like steamed pear cake and tea soup, right outside the restaurant. The Executive Lounge had a great variety of food, and there was a young male server who was particularly enthusiastic and thoughtful. We were upgraded to an Ultraman themed room upon check-in, and the kids absolutely loved the giant Ultraman inside!

We came to Tianjin with our parents and children and stayed for two nights. The room was spacious, and right outside was the Hai River with a beautiful night view. The double vanity design was very convenient. The shower had great pressure, and the drainage was excellent, plus the toilet had a smart bidet seat. The huge round bathtub was fantastic; after two days of soaking, our skin felt incredibly smooth. Although the facilities were a bit dated, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the service was attentive and friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including both Chinese and Western options. Tianjin snacks like 'lao doufu' (tofu pudding), 'jianbing' (fried pancake), 'guobacai' (fried dough with gravy), and 'chatang' (millet flour gruel) were all available, and the coffee was good too. I was just disappointed not to find the 'naipizi tanghulu' (milk skin candied hawthorn) that other reviewers mentioned, haha, what a pity. The pool was amazing, with warm, clean water, and there was an even warmer hydrotherapy pool, almost like a hot spring, and it wasn't crowded at all. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

First off, the location here is fantastic. It's really close to Jiefang Bridge, so after enjoying the night views nearby, it's a quick and easy walk back to rest. On top of that, every staff member here provides excellent service, and the rooms are very clean. From now on, when I visit other cities, Orange Crystal will be my top choice.

St Regis is one of the best rated hotels and, after checking in, it isn’t hard to see why.
The room was modern and very spacious. The location is right in the centre of Tianjin’s CBD, next to the Hai River, one of Tianjin’s most famous landmarks.
One of the other highlights is the 24 hour butler service. The team, especially Wendy, made sure to provide personalised and bespoke service. She, and the team, was always friendly and super responsive.
Oh, and the view from the room is pretty amazing too.

During New Year's Day, I had my first stay at the Astor Hotel in Tianjin, a hotel with a profound sense of history. While it had its commendable aspects, there were also numerous shortcomings that urgently need improvement. I was particularly disappointed with the hotel's facility maintenance and service management, and I am providing this feedback accordingly.
First, let's discuss the hotel's advantages and highlights. The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Haihe River, with a dazzling array of high-rise buildings across the bank. As night falls, the city lights create a vibrant, New York Manhattan-esque urban atmosphere, making for a superb night view. Transportation is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to Tianjin's core cultural and tourism areas like Jiefang North Road and the Five Avenues. The surrounding old buildings are rich in heritage and diverse in style, allowing you to fully experience the city's charm by strolling through them. Furthermore, the interior of the rooms maintains the hotel's historical tone, with a unique vintage design that showcases its heritage in every detail. The immersive experience during my stay was truly impressive.
However, compared to its highlights, the problems exposed by the hotel are far more prominent, particularly in service management and facility maintenance. These issues are severely inconsistent with the hotel's historical reputation and positioning, which is unacceptable.
In terms of service management, the overall service awareness was extremely weak, lacking the professionalism and etiquette expected of a high-end hotel. Only the front desk staff at check-in showed acceptable attitudes; the service experience in all other areas could be described as perfunctory: the foreign doorman did not proactively offer guidance or greetings, and I never received even a basic greeting from any hotel staff I encountered. Throughout my stay, there was a pervasive sense of coldness and detachment, completely disregarding the guest experience, which is entirely at odds with the hotel's brand character. Even more off-putting were the chaotic service issues in the hotel's museum. As a potentially chargeable ancillary venue, it should be an important place to showcase the hotel's history and culture and enhance guest experience. Yet, there were instances of staff dereliction of duty: two male and one female staff member were clustered together, chatting loudly and heedlessly even with visitors nearby. They even obstructed the projection video playback area for extended periods without proactively moving. Another male staff member was sitting on a museum sofa watching videos with the volume turned up so high that it drowned out the hotel's introductory video, severely disrupting visitors' experience and destroying the venue's tranquil atmosphere and cultural immersion. It's hard to imagine how such a level of service management could befitting of a high-end hotel with historical depth, and even harder to understand why a charged venue would tolerate such lax management and inappropriate service.
Regarding facility maintenance, 'vintage' should never be an excuse for 'outdated facilities and lack of maintenance.' Various facilities in my hotel room clearly showed signs of inadequate maintenance, and oversights in detail severely diminished the overall guest experience: the towel rack was loose and wobbly, almost on the verge of falling off, posing a safety hazard; the sink faucet made noticeable abnormal noises when turned on and off, suggesting aging parts that haven't been replaced in time; switching shower head modes was very difficult and inconvenient, affecting daily use. Moreover, the wardrobe's space planning was highly unreasonable. While it's understandable to embed a safe within the wardrobe, it didn't adequately consider practical usage, directly occupying a significant portion of hanging space, making it inconvenient to store clothes. This highlights a perfunctory approach in both design and management—neither considering the practicality of facilities nor making timely adjustments, completely disregarding guest comfort.
As a hotel steeped in historical heritage and held in high regard, the Astor Hotel Tianjin should have balanced the preservation of its historical charm with professional service and comprehensive facilities. However, during this stay, the lax service management and lack of facility maintenance not only failed to meet guest expectations but also damaged the hotel's brand reputation. I hope the hotel will address these issues, acknowledge legitimate guest feedback, strengthen staff service training and etiquette standards, improve its service management system, and thoroughly inspect and rectify all facility hazards. It should also carry out regular maintenance, optimize space planning and facility layouts to truly achieve 'a sense of history without feeling old, and historical depth with professional service,' living up to its brand legacy and guests' trust.

The service is great. I booked a special room without breakfast. The beautiful lady at the front desk gave me a breakfast and a souvenir. Unfortunately, I wanted to experience the breakfast in Tianjin and didn't try the hotel's breakfast. The room is indeed small, but very clean. However, it is enough for one person to stay in. There is also a tatami in the room, where you can rest and drink tea. There are four bottles of drinking water, which is generous! But I didn't enjoy it, because I bought a bucket of mineral water myself, haha. There are Guomao and Hisense shopping malls around, which is convenient for eating. The subway station is also convenient for transportation! I will stay here next time I come to Tianjin.

The room was comfortable, and the hot water came on instantly. It offers great value for money and is perfect for a trip to Tianjin. The transportation is convenient, and the service is excellent. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, and the cleanliness is good, though it could be a tad cleaner.

Hotel is situated at a very convenient location with the main shopping street 滨江道 opposite. There are also plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby.
Initially I was worried about the central heating during winter (Nov to Mar) which there is no cooling from their aircon, and it worsen when i was checking in when there are people checking out due to too hot. But our receptionist has arrange a cooler room for us where it does not face the sun and also has a humidifier that can put ice inside for cooling. Furthermore there is a small window on top that can be opened and with the high level, the room is cold and comfortable.
The room is beautiful and huge and well kept by the room service everyday. The bathroom is huge with a huge bathtub which my kids love and the scenery is beautiful. ******* food delivery is also convenient as they got robot to send up. All in all, the room is very valuable for the price and i really love every single night in the hotel.

I spent the weekend here with my parents for a relaxing getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment! The room was absolutely beautiful, featuring a modern European design and spotlessly clean; we fell in love with it the moment we walked in. It came with a fully equipped kitchen, boasting high-end appliances, and a Bosch washing machine. While laundry detergent isn't typically provided, the staff kindly brought a small packet when I asked, which I truly appreciated. (I left the remaining detergent on the washing machine after checking out.)
The breakfast spread was incredibly lavish, offering a wide variety of delicious options! The evening food at the Executive Lounge was exquisite and tasty, easily serving as a satisfying dinner.
The hotel's location is also extremely convenient, with Luneng City shopping mall practically on its doorstep and Water Park just a stone's throw away.
Overall, this was an exceptionally pleasant and relaxing experience. A big thank you to Conrad Tianjin!

This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed in. First off, its city center location is incredibly convenient, right next to the train station, just a 12-minute walk away. Secondly, the hotel occupies floors 47 to 51 of the Maoye Building. I was on the 50th floor, and the night view of Tianjin from my window was absolutely stunning – perfect for my social media! It totally satisfied my vanity, haha. Lastly, the service was incredibly attentive, making me feel right at home. I'll definitely be back! 💪

Eelaine_wong****Although it's an older five-star hotel, the service, facilities, and value for money are truly impeccable!
The location is incredibly convenient; the subway is just across the street, and there's a large parking lot with charging stations. It's also close to popular attractions and the famous morning market.
The hotel's service genuinely lives up to five-star standards. Our luggage was personally delivered all the way to the elevator, and everyone from the staff to the supervisors was incredibly welcoming. Room service was prompt and responsive. The room decor wasn't outdated and everything was very clean. The air conditioning was also exceptionally warm. At this price point, it's truly fantastic value!
Highly recommended!

JJanet0704For our summer vacation trip with two children, we typically opt for a serviced apartment. This property, despite opening in 2016, was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We chose a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with separate living and dining areas, which felt very spacious and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally helpful; I accidentally left my sunglasses in the room, and they promptly contacted me and arranged for them to be shipped back. Although the hotel's breakfast is outsourced, it still offered a good variety. The serviced apartment also boasts a fantastic location, being very close to the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient.

AAnonymous UserChose Guanhu for a relaxing New Year's Eve getaway! 🥰🥰 As soon as I entered the hotel gardens, I was deeply impressed by its magnificent exterior, truly feeling like I was in a medieval manor castle. The living areas are in the main building, and the interior decor is also very grand. What was most satisfying was the spacious layout of the high-ceilinged room and the bright, comfortable bathroom facilities – it really lives up to being a hot spring hotel, as the water comes out at a temperature close to body heat. Besides this, the hotel's New Year's Eve activities were also very fun, and the hotel concierge was incredibly thoughtful 🥰🥰. I highly recommend everyone to experience the different outdoor hot spring pools at the spa center, with both warm and hot options, while also enjoying the wide variety of buffet meals offered there! I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

Ttk82674l377The lobby is beautifully decorated with a strong Chinese New Year atmosphere. Check-in was quick, with minimal waiting time. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
XXiaomaosqI stayed with my kids on the weekend. The room was spacious and the 2.7-meter bed was not crowded for a family of four. There was a small slide and a twisting car in the room, and the two kids had a lot of fun playing. I asked for an extra quilt and two pairs of slippers when I checked in, and they were delivered quickly. When I checked out, I was given a souvenir. The service was very good, and the kids said they would come again next time!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location. It is very close to the subway station and the shopping attractions nearby. But the hotel is a bit not very easy to find. If there is no phone, you can't contact it at all. There is no way to check in according to the above address. Then the hotel is generally a little like the light is broken. The cleaning is not true. Paper towels are also sent back, or two cans of shampoo for you, etc., it is OK to barely make do for one night.

GGuest UserThe hotel is next to the Panshan Scenic Area; parking is convenient in the courtyard; supporting leisure and entertainment projects are complete, and a few are free; it is convenient to eat in the hotel and near the scenic area; the room is spacious and has a balcony; it's just a bit stuffy without air conditioning in this season, but the waiter quickly brought a floor fan; the buffet breakfast has many varieties and the taste is average; the duty managers Xin Yang and Hu Weiwei are very enthusiastic, and gave small gifts before leaving; I will consider staying here next time I visit!
