Overall, a pretty satisfying stay. It's an older hotel from 2014, so you can definitely see signs of age. The maintenance of facilities and equipment could be better, especially the shower in the room and the changing rooms in the fitness center. The hygiene is good, but there's still room for improvement. The environment is excellent, and the location is fantastic; you can walk to the Tianjin Eye, and the views are first-class. But the best part was the service! Both the check-in and check-out experiences at the front desk were impressive. The front desk staff and even the manager greeted us, and they gave a small cake to our child. I especially want to commend Alice Zhang from the fitness center; both times I encountered her, she provided wonderful service – it felt truly refreshing! The hotel offers great value for money, and the price is affordable. However, I genuinely hope they can effectively maintain the facilities and equipment to match the outstanding service the hotel provides.

The hotel's overall style is great, and the facilities are comprehensive. The front desk service was excellent and very thoughtful; they upgraded our room to a corner view room with stunning scenery, perfect for photos. The bathroom was also spacious. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and when we checked out, our luggage was too heavy, so they even helped us load it into the car. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay! This was my first time visiting Tianjin from the south, and I really experienced how incredibly hot northern China's floor heating can be...

During New Year's Day, I had my first stay at the Astor Hotel in Tianjin, a hotel with a profound sense of history. While it had its commendable aspects, there were also numerous shortcomings that urgently need improvement. I was particularly disappointed with the hotel's facility maintenance and service management, and I am providing this feedback accordingly. First, let's discuss the hotel's advantages and highlights. The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Haihe River, with a dazzling array of high-rise buildings across the bank. As night falls, the city lights create a vibrant, New York Manhattan-esque urban atmosphere, making for a superb night view. Transportation is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to Tianjin's core cultural and tourism areas like Jiefang North Road and the Five Avenues. The surrounding old buildings are rich in heritage and diverse in style, allowing you to fully experience the city's charm by strolling through them. Furthermore, the interior of the rooms maintains the hotel's historical tone, with a unique vintage design that showcases its heritage in every detail. The immersive experience during my stay was truly impressive. However, compared to its highlights, the problems exposed by the hotel are far more prominent, particularly in service management and facility maintenance. These issues are severely inconsistent with the hotel's historical reputation and positioning, which is unacceptable. In terms of service management, the overall service awareness was extremely weak, lacking the professionalism and etiquette expected of a high-end hotel. Only the front desk staff at check-in showed acceptable attitudes; the service experience in all other areas could be described as perfunctory: the foreign doorman did not proactively offer guidance or greetings, and I never received even a basic greeting from any hotel staff I encountered. Throughout my stay, there was a pervasive sense of coldness and detachment, completely disregarding the guest experience, which is entirely at odds with the hotel's brand character. Even more off-putting were the chaotic service issues in the hotel's museum. As a potentially chargeable ancillary venue, it should be an important place to showcase the hotel's history and culture and enhance guest experience. Yet, there were instances of staff dereliction of duty: two male and one female staff member were clustered together, chatting loudly and heedlessly even with visitors nearby. They even obstructed the projection video playback area for extended periods without proactively moving. Another male staff member was sitting on a museum sofa watching videos with the volume turned up so high that it drowned out the hotel's introductory video, severely disrupting visitors' experience and destroying the venue's tranquil atmosphere and cultural immersion. It's hard to imagine how such a level of service management could befitting of a high-end hotel with historical depth, and even harder to understand why a charged venue would tolerate such lax management and inappropriate service. Regarding facility maintenance, 'vintage' should never be an excuse for 'outdated facilities and lack of maintenance.' Various facilities in my hotel room clearly showed signs of inadequate maintenance, and oversights in detail severely diminished the overall guest experience: the towel rack was loose and wobbly, almost on the verge of falling off, posing a safety hazard; the sink faucet made noticeable abnormal noises when turned on and off, suggesting aging parts that haven't been replaced in time; switching shower head modes was very difficult and inconvenient, affecting daily use. Moreover, the wardrobe's space planning was highly unreasonable. While it's understandable to embed a safe within the wardrobe, it didn't adequately consider practical usage, directly occupying a significant portion of hanging space, making it inconvenient to store clothes. This highlights a perfunctory approach in both design and management—neither considering the practicality of facilities nor making timely adjustments, completely disregarding guest comfort. As a hotel steeped in historical heritage and held in high regard, the Astor Hotel Tianjin should have balanced the preservation of its historical charm with professional service and comprehensive facilities. However, during this stay, the lax service management and lack of facility maintenance not only failed to meet guest expectations but also damaged the hotel's brand reputation. I hope the hotel will address these issues, acknowledge legitimate guest feedback, strengthen staff service training and etiquette standards, improve its service management system, and thoroughly inspect and rectify all facility hazards. It should also carry out regular maintenance, optimize space planning and facility layouts to truly achieve 'a sense of history without feeling old, and historical depth with professional service,' living up to its brand legacy and guests' trust.

Returning to the St. Regis Tianjin after dark, this hotel, nestled along the Hai River, is one of Tianjin's iconic landmarks, with its hollow cube design echoing the concept of 'Jinmen' (Tianjin's historical gate). That evening, I stumbled upon a champagne sabering event for guests. Sipping a glass of champagne, I relaxed in the outdoor seating area, quietly observing the bustling Hai River and the throng of tourists – it was incredibly pleasant. I had a surprisingly peaceful night's sleep, much quieter than I anticipated. The next morning, breakfast on the first floor was unexpectedly crowded, but the service was exceptionally standard and well-organized. They even had Tianjin local snacks like Jianbing Guozi, which was very satisfying. Afterward, I headed to the gym to work out and unwind, then returned to my room for a brief rest, enjoying the riverfront view. It was a perfect end to my Tianjin trip. #Tianjin #CityGuideOfficial

This was my first stay at the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe, and overall, the experience was quite good. **Service**: From the welcoming staff to the front desk personnel, the breakfast restaurant employees, and every staff member I encountered, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, and kind. **Room**: The room size is quite large compared to other hotels in the same category. The separation of the living area and the bathing area is a bit unconventional, but the oversized bathtub was absolutely amazing! The scent on the guest room floors was also very pleasant. **Details**: The containers in the room had a nice texture. The patterns on the slippers and bathrobes, which I believe are extensions of the hotel's logo, were very well-designed and looked great. **Breakfast**: They even had milk skin tanghulu (candied hawthorn on a stick)!

This was my second stay at this hotel; my last visit was for five days. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. If you exit Tianjin Station via the South Square, you'll see the hotel building right next to the Century Clock. Guest rooms are located on floors 47-50. The front desk staff will contact you a day in advance to ask about your room preferences and do their best to accommodate them. The hotel is not far from Ancient Culture Street and Gulou. The Jiefang Bridge is directly opposite, and the Italian Style Street is behind it. Walk across Jiefang Bridge, and you'll reach a pedestrian street; it's also not too far to walk to Quanyechang from there. This time, I was given a corner room. The room was a bit small, and the view was decent, but it wasn't as comfortable as the room I had last time. Breakfast is served on the 51st floor and ends at 10 AM. The breakfast was okay; they had 'jianbing' (Chinese crepes), but the taste was average. There were also freshly-made noodles, which were also just average. The breakfast restaurant staff were very friendly, except for the man at the noodle station, who always seemed grumpy and unapproachable. The female staff, however, were excellent. Being able to check out late, at 2 PM, is a great perk. You can also get bottled water anytime, and it's delivered quickly after a phone call. By the way, the 'uncles' now dive into the river at Chifeng Bridge in the afternoon, which is just a few hundred meters from Tianjin Station. If you're interested, you can go and watch.

The price is reasonable, and the room was clean and tidy (the photos were taken after we'd settled in, but it was spotless when we first arrived). The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was dry and odorless. The overall environment was quiet, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The location is also very convenient, close to the subway station with plenty of dining options and easy transportation nearby.

I spent the weekend here with my parents for a relaxing getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment! The room was absolutely beautiful, featuring a modern European design and spotlessly clean; we fell in love with it the moment we walked in. It came with a fully equipped kitchen, boasting high-end appliances, and a Bosch washing machine. While laundry detergent isn't typically provided, the staff kindly brought a small packet when I asked, which I truly appreciated. (I left the remaining detergent on the washing machine after checking out.) The breakfast spread was incredibly lavish, offering a wide variety of delicious options! The evening food at the Executive Lounge was exquisite and tasty, easily serving as a satisfying dinner. The hotel's location is also extremely convenient, with Luneng City shopping mall practically on its doorstep and Water Park just a stone's throw away. Overall, this was an exceptionally pleasant and relaxing experience. A big thank you to Conrad Tianjin!

The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to the Century Clock and Jiefang Bridge. A subway station is conveniently situated right next door, and it's incredibly easy to dine at the Youth Restaurant which shares a wall with the hotel. The cleanliness, service, and facilities were all excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Tianjin. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The room location is excellent, with a view of the Ritz-Carlton across the street and the 12stay corner from the window. The front desk and breakfast service were very attentive. It's also very close to Taian Road and the Wudadao area.

Bbabyray0811An absolutely perfect stay that exceeded my expectations! Staying at your hotel was truly a wonderful surprise, and I just had to write a long review to commend you all: Firstly, the service was absolutely impeccable. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the bellhop was enthusiastically there to help with our luggage. The front desk staff handled our check-in with exceptional efficiency and a warm smile, making us feel instantly at home. When we casually asked about a quieter room, they not only patiently checked for us but also proactively offered a complimentary room upgrade. This thoughtfulness truly left a deep impression on me. Upon entering the room, we were even more delighted. The room was incredibly spacious and tidy. The bedding was excellent, and the mattress had the perfect balance of softness and support, providing a wonderful, enveloping feeling. I slept soundly through the night, waking up refreshed and with all my travel fatigue gone. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, and the water pressure was strong and steady, making a hot shower incredibly relaxing. The attention to detail was also impressive, with a pillow menu offering various choices, clearly demonstrating the hotel's dedication. The hotel's location is also superb, making dining and shopping very convenient. Getting to the main attractions was also easy. Finally, I must praise the breakfast. The variety was extensive, combining both Chinese and Western options. The local specialty snacks, in particular, were very authentic, and the fruits were fresh, ensuring a vibrant start to the day. During check-out, the staff thoughtfully inquired about our stay and even presented us with a small souvenir. This stay far surpassed my expectations and was definitely great value for money! I have already highly recommended it to my friends, and without hesitation, I will choose to stay here again the next time I visit this city!

JJanet0704For our summer vacation trip with two children, we typically opt for a serviced apartment. This property, despite opening in 2016, was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We chose a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with separate living and dining areas, which felt very spacious and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally helpful; I accidentally left my sunglasses in the room, and they promptly contacted me and arranged for them to be shipped back. Although the hotel's breakfast is outsourced, it still offered a good variety. The serviced apartment also boasts a fantastic location, being very close to the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient.

XXiaoxiuzhuThe room was great, and the breakfast was quite abundant. It was so comfortable to go for a hot spring dip in the dead of winter, especially since my head was hurting from the cold at home. My back and leg pain felt much better. I'll definitely visit the hot spring bathhouse several more times this winter. Just a suggestion: the bottom of the pool had some green algae that I think should be cleaned.

The daily complimentary meal vouchers, soft drinks, and fruits provided excellent value, almost offsetting part of the room cost. The location is superb, with plenty of dining options both nearby and conveniently within the hotel. Major attractions like the Ferris wheel and boat tours are just a short stroll away, making it perfect for seniors and children who won't have to walk too much. Highly recommended for family trips!

GGuest UserI chose a large suite with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. The room is big enough and the view outside the window is very good. There are enough places for children to ride balance bikes and play remote control cars. There is a small hill that can be climbed to the highest point to see the castle. Starting from the back door of the naughty castle on the first floor of the hotel, half of the way is a gentle slope, and the other half requires some leg strength. It is not suitable for elderly people who are not used to exercise, but the overall difficulty coefficient is not high. The facilities of the hotel itself seem a bit old. When there are few people staying, many places do not turn on the lights to save electricity. These details make people feel that they are not worthy of the hotel's star rating, but Jixian is generally like this. It is still very suitable for taking the whole family out for a trip.

EE0016****We decided to travel before the Qingming Festival. Many hotels in the suburbs were fully booked, so we booked here for two days. Four adults and one baby, we booked a king-size bed room and a standard room. After checking in, we found that the room where the baby stayed was very cold. We contacted the front desk with a try-it attitude. The front desk manager was very patient and thoughtful. He upgraded the baby to a suite and had a lot of fun. The playground is very large, but the only thing is that there is no heating, the ground is cold, and it is a bit uncomfortable to stay for a long time.
