Located in the west of Florence, if you don't have a chartered car, you need to take a train from Florence to Empoli Station, and then take a taxi for 25 minutes to the hotel (about 50 euros). The hotel is in the fields, and it takes a while to drive from the town. There are many hotels and folk customs on each small hill nearby. The hotel is very large. In addition to the accommodation area, it is surrounded by grape fields, farms, and areas for hotel project activities.
The environment is very beautiful, close to nature, and implements the original ecological concept. Some of the restaurant ingredients come from their own farms. There are cypress trees of different heights on the surrounding country roads. It seems that a batch of small trees were planted along the road for tourists to take pictures, so that they can become a row of neat cypress trees. The hotel's architectural style is an Italian farm. The exterior looks simple, the interior is relatively gorgeous, and the Renaissance decoration is beautiful and atmospheric. It was foggy in the early morning, and the fog dissipated before noon. There was plenty of light in the afternoon, and the sunset in the evening was very beautiful on the fields. The sunrise and the forest opened, and the scenery was different in four seasons.
Stayed for 2 nights, during which I experienced truffle picking (155 euros/person) and wine tasting (50 euros/person). It was interesting to experience it. But unlike expected, there was not much participation in truffle picking. We came to a forest and followed the footsteps of truffle hunters and hounds to search in the forest. There were explanations during the period, but we did not experience the process of digging truffles in person. Wine tasting visited the wine cellar and then tasted it outdoors. During the stay, you can walk around the hotel to pass the time and you will not feel bored. The greenery is relaxing. In fact, some scenes can also be seen in most rural areas, but the hotel's supporting facilities cannot keep up. We need to return to the hotel to get a holiday-like rest after walking tired.
The hotel has two restaurants, including breakfast. One restaurant is a local restaurant, and the other restaurant is a Michelin green star. The taste is pretty good. You can only choose between them during the stay because there are no other restaurants nearby.
It is worth mentioning that the pool selection suite where I stayed on the second night is close to the swimming pool. You can go swimming as soon as you open the door, but many bugs were found in the room. The hotel service was uneven. One of the interns did not speak English well, and it took us a long time to communicate about changing rooms. The other intern was fluent in English and had a good service attitude.
On the return trip, I chose to have the hotel make an appointment to send me to Empoli Station (68 euros).
Itโs a beautiful monastery! Very nice frescos in the chapel. It is huge with a garden and grapes. The sunset from the breakfast corridor is insanely gorgeous. Breakfast is very delicious. The pastries are all made in house. Grape pie is great. The jams are made in house and taste fresh. Service is hospitable. Room is small but clean.

A 5 minute walk from Pisa, very helpful and friendly staff 24 hours. There isnt a lift, however staff insisted in carrying our bags up the stairs, very helpful!
We were late to breakfast, and they still accommodated for us (a couple). They set up a Private breakfast for us to in the bar dining on the ground floor, asked what we wanted to eat and drink, and kept coming back to see if it was enough. It included pancakes, eggs, toast, pastries, cappuchino with pretty coffee art, teas, spreads, homemade cake, juice. They brought us more when they came pass.
Highly recommend this stay :) well worth the money!
I rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start โ I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!

An amazing hotel located in the centre of Florence overlooking a beautiful Piazza surrounded by restaurants excellent shopping and to die for sightseeing attractions.
For some reason I got an upgrade to a suite which was sensational a lovely complimentary bottle of red wine together with a packet of biscotti.
The rooftop pool and bar were sensational with sensational views as well.
Not a cheap hotel by any means but well worth the money

Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable.
First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor.
Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner.

I really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though.

Very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel, better than expected! Located in the center of Florence, by the river, the hotel itself is an ancient building, well preserved, and downstairs is the luxury street. The room is very large, exquisitely decorated, typical European style, from curtains to furniture and wallpaper are bright yellow and light green. There is a beautiful view of the Arno River outside the window. The bathroom has a shower and a separate oversized massage bathtub. The room is well soundproofed and quiet. The rooftop terrace is awesome, and the view of Florence at sunset is no less than that of Piazzale Michelangelo. The rooftop bar is also great. In short, highly recommended ๐๐ป
Very, very good! I looked at the pictures on Ctrip before and felt it was very ordinary. I was very surprised after checking in. Because I stayed for three consecutive nights, the triple room I booked was upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms, which was huge. The view outside the room window is very beautiful. See Figures 1 to 4 outside the living room window, Figure 5 is the view of the public area, and Figure 6 is the living room. This suite cannot be booked online, but can be booked by email or phone. It is really worth it and highly recommended!
The hotel is located just outside the gate of Siena. If you drive by yourself, the ZTL in the city cannot be driven in, so it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the city gate and more than ten minutes to walk to Piazza del Campo. The hotel has parking spaces, which need to be paid separately.

Very Good
GGuest UserResort hotel, very comfortable, large room, balcony view is very good, the hotel has a swimming pool, the room has a cabinet to cook by yourself, it is very suitable for lying flat, driving to Pienza for a quarter of an hour, going to Siena for an hour, there is a supermarket in the nearby town, the hotel's own restaurant tastes good, It is recommended.
GGuest UserThe overall price is very good hotel. The advantages are said in many comments, parking is free and convenient, and the front desk is warm and friendly. The fly in the ointment is that the room is not too big, and the bathroom does not have a separate shower room. It is cramped to stand in the corner of the bathtub. Go to the ancient city of Siena, you can search for public parking lots in different directions on the map. Not far from the nearest parking lot of Duomo, there is a comfortable escalator all the way to the ancient city. If you take Taxi, it will be about 10 euros to the hotel.
