Romantic Hotels in Jeju Province, South Korea

"Oh my goodness, this Ocean Hotel seriously exceeded my expectations! I only booked a twin room, but to my surprise, there was another small room inside! You could even put down a floor mattress! It could easily accommodate 4-5 people! The price was also quite reasonable (I hope they don't hike up the prices in the future!). Plus, it was exceptionally clean. Although the front desk lady didn't speak Chinese, she was incredibly patient and used a translation app to answer all our questions. And it's right across from the ocean, so the views are fantastic! Behind the hotel is Chilseong-ro Street, and there's even an Aesop store! Stussy is right downstairs! The location is truly excellent for getting great photos. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jeju Island, it's really great! Too bad I forgot to take photos inside the hotel!"

"Modern and aesthetic hotel lobbies - would have been better if the two buildings had a shelter link as it was raining during this period. Very clean lobby toilets. Sufficient carpark lots although we normally parked beside the hotel (no shelter). They provided water every day. Helpful staff who brings extra towels to our room. Location is good as it is near to convenient stores and many food options in the area. Some attractions are located nearby too 👍🏻"

"The hotel is very close to Dongmun Market and the Black Pork Street. However, if you're not a fan of grilled meat, dining options in the surrounding area are quite limited. There's a McDonald's and a supermarket not far from the hotel downstairs. Overall, the accommodation environment is decent. There's a fried chicken place on the ground floor of the hotel, but the taste is just average. If I were to prioritize location, I'd recommend staying near Lotte Duty-Free Shop for more convenience in shopping and dining. But if you prefer peace and quiet and want to see the ocean, this place is a good choice."

"This resort is located southwest of Jeju Island, about an hour and a half by taxi from the airport. Drivers here tend to drive quite slowly, usually around 80 km/h at most. The taxi fare was a bit over 38,000 won. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire resort and the speed is excellent. We booked a family room for two adults and one child, which had one double bed and one single bed – perfect for a family of three. The room was very new and clean, and it was cleaned once a day. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, but everything else is. There are three hotels in the resort: Marriott, Landing, and Shinhwa. I think Shinhwa is the best place to stay because it's close to the pool, the food street, and the theme park. Our room package included three theme park tickets. Each ticket allowed us to enjoy three rides, so a total of nine rides was more than enough for our child to experience everything. It also included admission for three to the water park. One visit to the water park simply isn't enough; there are so many attractions, it's incredibly fun!"

"First, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Now, for the pros: 1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance). 2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes. 3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English. 4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious. 5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport. Areas for improvement: 1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them). 2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better. Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side."

"The room was quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Although the decor is a bit dated, it was generally clean. Jeju Island on a sunny day is truly beautiful. Every room offers a stunning sea view; waking up in the morning to see the blue ocean really brightens your mood. Right outside the hotel, there's a barbecue restaurant and a coffee shop. The BBQ was delicious, generous, and great value, and the staff even cooked and portioned everything for us. The coffee shop also sold pastries and bread, which were tasty and had cute designs."

"Pros: I have to give a shout-out to the two front desk staff members who spoke Chinese! Their service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. A special thank you to the young lady at the front desk [name unknown], who was absolutely wonderful, thank you so much! 🫰 There was also a male staff member whose service attitude was very friendly (his name is in the photo I took). He patiently answered all our questions. The considerate service made me feel very warm and created unforgettable memories for this trip! However, I hope the attitudes of a few other front desk staff members can improve. I would still choose this hotel next time."

"Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away. The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities. The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood! The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired. Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer."

"Overall, my stay was quite good. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, very close to the tourist attraction itself. There are also many convenience stores and Korean restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. The room provided toiletries and slippers, and it was cleaned daily to a good standard. The view of Ilchulbong Peak from the room was beautiful."
