We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Facilities: The facilities were excellent and fully equipped; we had everything we needed, including a washing machine, and the air conditioning was very powerful. Cleanliness: The place was spotlessly clean and very tidy – excellent. Environment: The environment was superb! With the ocean right outside the window, the view was absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea. Service: The owner was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive.

Spent Christmas on Weizhou Island, staying three nights. Arrived on the island at 2 PM on the first day, and the hotel sent a car to pick us up. After enjoying the complimentary afternoon tea, we headed out at 4 PM to take photos at Xiashiluo. We had dinner at the hotel that evening; although a bit pricey, the dishes were absolutely amazing 👍 The second day was dedicated to whale watching. I went on two trips and actually saw them! The captain mentioned that the success rate for whale watching is 90% from March to April. On the third day, the sea was too rough for water sports (over 7-level winds), so we rented a car to tour the island. I highly recommend checking out ”Huan Dao Bookstore” and ”Jingye Restaurant.” Hotel highlights: The service was very prompt, and the pool was heated. I went for a swim every night… it was wonderful, swimming while admiring the starry sky.

The Shangri-La Hotel Beihai, located in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has been operating for 29 years with an incredibly stable management team. It's common to see staff with over a decade of experience, and the Shangri-La 'DNA' is evident throughout. Even with the current climate, the Horizon Club benefits haven't been simplified. The new General Manager, who recently took over, is also very hands-on, and you often see her and the management team bustling around... Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant is a major highlight, with tables fully booked for every meal. It's the top dining choice for locals, domestic and international tourists, and hotel guests alike! 👍

For my Beihai trip, I specifically chose the relatively new Marriott Resort, and it truly lived up to the Marriott brand – a delightful experience! The hotel design is stunning and unique, resembling a giant ship docked by the sea. The surroundings are beautiful, and it's incredibly convenient, with direct access to the beach right from a side exit. The room was spacious, and the facilities were excellent, offering beautiful sea views right from the balcony. Breakfast was extensive, and every aspect showcased the signature Marriott quality. What truly stood out was the high standard of service, from the butler to the front desk, everyone was warm, attentive, and thoughtful.

The room is relatively simple, the advantage is that the amount of hot water is large. I chose a view room, facing the sea, but the window is limited, and the sputum can be opened a little bit, which is more sputum. I changed the hotel slippers to the beach, just at low tide to reveal a large tidal flat. Be careful when climbing stones. The top is full of seagull shells, which is very sharp. You can dig shells on the tidal flats, the tide rises late, and the tidal flats are flooded. I rushed to the sea and didn't rush to anything, but the children should like it very much. Open the window at night, fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, the white noise really works. There is a large parking lot and parking is very convenient. I didn’t eat seafood around, I went to the octopus seafood market, it’s far away, I have to drive there.

I absolutely have to give this a five-star review! The value for money is just incredible! To stay in a five-star hotel at this price point is an absolute steal. The service was thoughtful and very welcoming, and the room was bigger than I expected, spotless, and completely odor-free. All the amenities were there, and two entire floors were dedicated to entertainment facilities and fitness options, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were super helpful, recommending local eateries and must-see spots, and even helped us plan our travel itinerary, which saved us a lot of hassle.

Facilities: Comprehensive Hygiene: Clean and sanitary Environment: Tidy and orderly, not far from Beihai Silver Beach Scenic Area Service: The front desk staff were welcoming and patient. I didn't get to experience the complimentary services included with the booking, so I can't comment on those. However, the air conditioning in the room couldn't provide hot air; when I asked the front desk, they said it was just circulating air. Beihai's weather gets quite cold at night, and I didn't warm up at all during my one-night stay. I hope the hotel can be more considerate with its services, especially given its star rating and size.
