The hotel is great. Nothing to complain about. If Radisson is a bit too pricey for you , this is a great alternative for premium hotel. Everything is upto par for a 4/5 star hotel service.
If you do decide to dine in hotel, be ready to pay an extremely high price.
A simple salad will set you back more than $10 with tax and service charge. Went to the hotel bar and a single shot of whiskey cost around $9. Even more expensive than in the US lol.
Apart from front desk receptionist who never smiled, greeted or said anything that might make travellers/ customers feel welcome, other staff were helpful and friendly. However, as the first person travellers encounter and deal with inside the hotel, after helpful bellboy taking our cases as we approached the front door, and doorman greeting us, this young lady could use a’refresher’ in PR / customer service and basic politeness!
The hotel was renovated in 2023 but the carpet in our room could use a thorough steam cleaning, in fact the attractive decor and overall impression are undercut by a badly stained carpet, something vacuuming cannot remedy.
Both my husband and I found the mattress uncomfortable- we like firm but this was hard - ‘like a board! I noted, and did not sleep well, turning frequently from one side to another. Had we stayed longer than two days, we would have asked to move rooms or have a ‘topper’ added.
There were several good restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as a buzzy night market. Centrally located, we were able to access tourist sites easily by tuk tuk.
The hotel is run by the military. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, always willing to assist with any needs. They are especially friendly to Chinese people. I stay at their hotel every time I visit Chittagong.
Our group of nine had excellent service with airport shuttle available. The hotel was new, had a large swimming pool, and was very close to the beach. It was a rare local hotel that catered well to Chinese tastes. The hotel's fusion cuisine was reasonably priced and tasty, but the breakfast buffet wasn't quite to everyone's liking. The fried noodles, however, were quite good.
I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Chattogram and while the room itself was truly impressive—spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing—the overall experience left much to be desired.
The hotel's architecture and interior design are definitely its strong points. However, the service did not live up to the Radisson brand. Throughout our stay, staff were unhelpful and dismissive, often responding with, “We don’t have this,” or “You can do it yourself.” This was particularly disappointing when it came to basic requests like airport transfer. For such a large hotel, having so few cars available is simply inadequate and quite frustrating for guests.
Breakfast was another major letdown. It was, quite frankly, the worst I’ve encountered in all my hotel stays—limited variety, poorly executed dishes, and an overall lack of attention to quality. It was far from what one would expect from a hotel of this stature.
Radisson Blu Chattogram has the potential to offer a world-class experience, but right now, it feels more like Radisson Black. There's serious room for improvement, especially in staff training and food & beverage offerings.
A Memorable Stay at Ramada Cox's Bazar
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada in Cox's Bazar, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. Our trip started with an unexpected hiccup – a fire incident at Dhaka Airport forced us to take an overnight bus to Cox's Bazar. Arriving at the hotel on October 19th, we were understandably anxious about the room availability.
However, Ms. Fatima at the reception truly turned our experience around. Sensing our worry, she skillfully arranged an upgrade to a room with a stunning view. Her professionalism and kindness immediately impressed us and set the tone for a wonderful stay.
The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, with direct access to the beautiful, endless sandy beach. The rooftop restaurant offered breathtaking views, adding to the overall charm. Having traveled extensively, we were particularly impressed with the hotel's services. Our room was immaculate, with excellent bed comfort and cleanliness. The staff was well-mannered and proficient in English, making communication effortless. The lobby was also well-presented and inviting.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the following staff members who made our stay exceptional: Ms. Fatima, Mr. Salim (the shuttle bus driver), the customer service team at the reception, the staff at the restaurants on levels 2 and 12, the chefs, floor staff, housekeeping, security personnel, and the porters. Everyone contributed to making our stay truly memorable.
We highly recommend Ramada in Cox's Bazar to anyone looking for a remarkable hotel experience.
The cleanliness of the rooms was minimal, and I didn't feel particularly dirty, but there were many ignorances. Unlike the feeling you see in the photo, the atmosphere in the guest room is dark. It was different from what I expected for the time being.
However, the staff 々 was sincere.
The room decor was a bit dated, but the staff were excellent and the environment was lovely. The hotel boasts a variety of restaurants, including a burger fast-food joint, an Italian restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a buffet, and a Bengali seafood grill market, which was great. The airport shuttle service was a major plus. However, a small incident during my stay left me a bit perplexed. When I checked in the night before, I mentioned to the staff that I had a 7 AM tuk-tuk booked for a 'moon boat' tour the next morning and asked if breakfast started before then. The next morning, I woke up to find a hotel notice slipped under my door informing me that my dining had been upgraded to the Indian restaurant, and breakfast started at 8 AM. When I went down to the buffet restaurant, the manager on duty informed me I couldn't eat there and escorted me to the Indian restaurant. After I explained that I needed to leave by 7 AM, he reluctantly allowed me to eat in the main breakfast area, but only from the dessert section. Honestly, it's hard to describe how I felt about that experience.

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay at Sayeman Beach Resort in Cox’s Bazar. We traveled as a family of 7, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with beautiful views that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help, which really stood out to us.
The beach access was perfect, and the overall ambiance of the resort was calm and family-friendly. We also enjoyed the food—there was a good variety, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty.
Traveling with a larger group can sometimes be challenging, but the resort handled everything very well, making our vacation stress-free and memorable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cox’s Bazar, especially families.
