Pan Pacific Suzhou is one of those rare hotels where the stay itself feels like part of the sightseeing. It combines Suzhou’s classical garden charm with modern comforts in a way that feels both tranquil and indulgent. Garden resort setting The hotel is built in the style of a classical Suzhou garden, with courtyards, covered walkways, sculpted bridges, ponds and pavilions spread over expansive grounds. Walking around the property can feel like wandering through a private scenic park, with many rooms and paths looking directly onto landscaped greenery and traditional architecture. Direct access to Panmen Scenic Area A standout perk is its location right beside the historic Panmen Scenic Area, home to ancient gates, pagodas and canals. Guests typically enjoy complimentary or convenient access via a dedicated entrance, turning morning strolls or evening walks among the illuminated walls and waterways into a daily ritual rather than a rushed excursion. Rooms and views Most rooms offer either serene garden vistas or views over Panmen’s walls, waterways and even Ruiguang Pagoda from some angles. Inside, the rooms pair contemporary comforts like high‑speed internet and workspaces with warm, subtly traditional decor, so you get a sense of place without sacrificing modern convenience. Location and convenience While it feels like a secluded resort, the hotel sits in a prime Suzhou district with easy access to key attractions, shopping and dining. Suzhou Railway Station is only a short drive away and the nearest metro station is about a five‑minute walk, making it straightforward to reach popular gardens and business areas without losing that peaceful “garden retreat” base.

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it. The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable. What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

During the New Year's Day holiday, I was planning a trip to Nanjing and compared various hotel chains. Ultimately, I felt that Jinling Hotel had the best location, so after reading reviews, I booked a room in the Asia Pacific Tower. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's just a two or three-minute walk from Exit 6 of Xinjiekou Metro Station. Whether you're taking a taxi or the metro, nothing feels far away. Upon entering the room, I was impressed by the thoughtful layout and excellent facilities. The mini-bar was complimentary, and even the AHAVA toiletries were a pleasant surprise. After using them, my hair felt voluminous and my scalp wasn't itchy or dry – I even asked about the price because I wanted to buy them for home, haha! The concierge and housekeeping services were also top-notch. I order a lot of takeout, often several at once, and it's reassuring that the concierge department verifies the room number and name. When the robots are busy, the concierge staff personally deliver the food. Yesterday morning, when a concierge staff member brought my takeout, he noticed a bag of my previous takeout outside my door and kindly took it away – I really appreciate his attentiveness! When taking a taxi, the concierge also helps with opening and closing car doors and carrying luggage. The housekeeping hotline was very responsive; when I mentioned my pillow was too soft, they promptly provided me with a suitable latex pillow. The cleaning lady thoughtfully tidied my small desk and even left extra bottled water. All these little touches are examples of excellent attention to detail and warm service. Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice when I visit Nanjing again.

This is the most comfortable hotel we've stayed at, and the kids absolutely loved it! Besides the hot springs, there are also small animals, arcade games for children, and even a beach, making it truly ideal for families of all ages. What's even better is that Slender West Lake is directly opposite the hotel, just a short walk away – super convenient! Every staff member at the hotel was also incredibly friendly and approachable. Knowing we had children, they thoughtfully and proactively provided kids' slippers and toiletries, which was a very kind gesture. Overall, our stay was very comfortable!

This hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, comfortable, luxurious amenities and impeccable services ! We met Mr.Lui, the owner of Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn! He is incredibly friendly & most warmest person that kindly offered us a local delicacy. He shared with us with great food & showed us where we would like to have & to go to explore in Suzhou City. I loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and I highly recommend to anyone to come to experience this stay yourself. The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. The hotel was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions, super easy to explore with all the great food around & shopping! No regrets at all to have a stay here! I can't wait to stay here again. We definitely will be back again !!! Thank u very much !! We love Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn!!! 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

Highly recommend this hotel for couples! It's a three-story building, and the hallways are great for photos. You can even see the Gate of the Orient from the 7th-floor balcony. The hotel is super close to the newly opened MixC World, just a skywalk away. It was renovated in 2025, and there's no strong formaldehyde smell in the rooms. The facilities are quite complete, and the toothbrushes aren't those cheap disposable ones. The hygiene is excellent. For couples checking in, here are a few tips: 1. When you check in, ask the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner. The tissue box might not have a tissue sticking out; you'll need to flip it over and open the bottom to get one. 2. The fixed showerhead can be adjusted, so you don't have to stand right against the wall. 3. The main bed doesn't have outlets at the headboard, but the two side beds do. The switch for the inner side bed only controls the small circular light at the foot of that bed (see pic 5). The spotlights for the side bed near the bar are what control the ambient lighting at the headboard and under the bed. 4. Also, I want to complain that I didn't get a random cultural and creative blind box! 5. Still, I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Crowne Plaza was absolutely fantastic! As a standard five-star hotel, it's incredibly well-equipped with an executive lounge, gym, and heated swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, perfect for both work and relaxation. The breakfast offers a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options, and the service is attentive and prompt – even the small details reflect professionalism. A special shout-out to Cecelia and Layla! Whether for business or leisure, it's a truly comfortable experience with amazing value for money!

Our trip was an excellent experience! The concierge, Fiona, reached out early via WeChat, arranged a fantastic room for us, and even booked a table with a window view at the Chinese restaurant. She was incredibly warm and lovely, always responding and resolving any issues immediately. The hotel has a great location and wonderful views. The duck blood vermicelli soup at breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar. The concierge service was outstanding; a particularly enthusiastic doorman, Lu Yuanzhen, helped us with our luggage every time we came and went, and our bags were always delivered to our room. This hotel offers truly exceptional service. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again on my next visit to Nanjing. Our first trip of the New Year was absolutely delightful. Wishing everyone here a Happy New Year!

1. There is no self-service laundry room. When I almost lost my clothes while doing laundry, I ran to the front desk, and the relevant person in charge shied away from responsibility, which caused high communication costs; 2. The cleaning aunt basically ignored the room sign at the door indicating whether to clean or not. I chose ”no cleaning yet” but when I came back in the evening, I still found that the aunt came in to clean; 3. The overall service attitude at the front desk is so-so, because the front desk was not very active and enthusiastic for a few days, but this is not too demanding. 3. The Wifi signal quality is not very good. Summary: There are some shortcomings, but based on the price, it is generally reasonable.

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

HHuahuaxiaojiejiePerhaps due to the room type, both rooms were far from the elevator. Around 8 a.m., there was a thumping noise from upstairs. The room was spacious, but the downside was that there was no TV or refrigerator. If you wanted to cool something, you had to go up to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. If you were picking up a tour driver, you had to have him go into the lobby and scan a QR code before you could leave. The breakfast here was very poor. There was no basic milk, juice, or sauces. The outside bar only had two kinds of pickled cucumber and plain porridge. I got a bowl of bland noodles, so I skipped it the next day! It was simply not good. It's a shame that the hotel rooms are basic, but the food wasn't well-received.

MM287623****## Environment: Excellent! The hotel is clearly designed for large conferences, so it's incredibly spacious – it actually felt larger than the entire Xizha scenic area in Wuzhen! Located right on Tongli Lake, it boasts absolute prime lake views and is within walking distance of the ancient town. The landscaping and overall greenery are very high-end and luxurious. ## Cleanliness: Lacks attention to detail. The lakeside pavilions had quite a few cobwebs and bird droppings. There were also cobwebs outside the room window. The Daguan Garden area is currently under renovation, which made that section look a bit desolate. ## Room: This time we had a standard room. While no lake view was understandable, the window faced another room's window, which was pitch dark and a bit eerie at night – I'm not sure if it was a conference room. There was absolutely no greenery outside, as you can see from the pictures. I believe this is the area that most urgently needs improvement. ## Service: The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, always greeted us with smiles, and were very professional. ## Facilities: Also very impressive. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, with several sprinklers inside, making it very suitable for children. It was a pity we didn't bring our swimsuits this time. We did play table tennis, and the court was good. There's also golf, but we couldn't go due to the rain. ## Breakfast: Mediocre. The dining area was quite small, and the variety of food was limited. It didn't match the hotel's overall standard, and disappointingly, the venue didn't offer lake views either. It felt like the entire long lakeside wasn't well utilized for dining, which is a real shame. ## Other Points: We purchased a package deal this time. The package included 'Tongli Night Tour,' which we initially assumed meant the hotel would provide tickets or some sort of activity. However, there was nothing of the sort; it merely implied you could go to Tongli Ancient Town yourself at night. How can this be included in a package? I find it misleading. Furthermore, the minibar only contained four Master Kong soft drinks, which felt very stingy. ## Overall: The hotel's hardware facilities, stunning views, and service level are all up to par. Despite some minor issues, it is still highly recommended.

DDrewVisionAbove average in all areas. Only 2 small things, but difficult to complain at all. Amazing service, above average for China. Food was not just above average - top level and not too expensive. All facilities were excellent, though the kyaking in the photos do not exist anymore. A small, but still a reason I booked was it showed kyacking for kids, which my son loves, therefore one (but not the only reason) for booking. Trip.com should update this image. I would suggest also redoing the lobby area, its way too small. Its one of the smallest lobby's in any 5 star hotel, and when its on the weekend and everyone booking in at the same time, its very noisy and crowded. The lobby and reception area should be 2-3 times the size. But these two negatives do not distract from the many positives which were above 5-stars. If these other two could be fixed it would be one of the top hotel stays in China.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's concierge team was incredibly professional and enthusiastic in helping us resolve our shipping issue. Due to a layover at Nanjing airport, our luggage couldn't be checked through, and we had many gifts for friends and family that we didn't want to carry with us, which was quite inconvenient. We considered shipping them, but it was already 10 PM and SF Express was closed, so we thought it was a lost cause. However, the hotel's concierge department wonderfully solved our problem and even showed us how to place an order with SF Express for them to send the items, which significantly eased our journey.
