The environment is excellent. It's very convenient to get around being close to the subway station, and it's quiet at night, not noisy at all. I stayed in Xi'an for five days, and every evening when I returned, the room was spotless, cleaned by the lovely auntie. The front desk staff were incredibly patient, and the hotel facilities are very comprehensive. Everywhere you look, it's impeccably clean. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an!

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure.

This stay was very bad. Very bad. We were arranged to stay in the north. The north side faces the street. The cars passing by at 4 o'clock in the morning, especially the cement tankers, were very loud. It was impossible to fall asleep. No matter how good, comfortable, and welcoming the hotel is, it can't stand such noise, especially the window where I stayed was the entrance and exit of the parking lot, and there was an intelligent voice gate that announced the vehicle number in and out, which was very loud. The experience was very bad, and I would like to remind you. If you stay in this hotel, don't stay on the north side of the hotel.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of the Bell Tower area. You're practically stepping out directly into attractions and shopping districts, and transportation is incredibly convenient. The service is warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive, with staff who are gentle and polite – it truly makes you feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, with comprehensive and well-maintained facilities. The decor is simple yet elegant, making for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Overall, the hotel offers high quality and pays attention to the details, providing exceptional value for money. My entire stay was very pleasant, and it truly deserves five stars. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an!

This stay was almost perfect! We checked into the hotel on New Year's Eve afternoon. All we had to do was tell any staff member, who were dressed in traditional Tang or Han Dynasty attire, and a hotel buggy would be there in no time. Upon check-in, we received a small hand tag which granted us free access in and out of Huaqing Palace, both up and down the mountain (though taking the cable car up still cost money). First off, the hotel facilities were relatively new, featuring Dyson hairdryers, smart toilets, and electric curtains. The TV was a smart TV, so we couldn't watch regular broadcast channels, but screen mirroring was available. The private hot spring was very warm, perhaps even a bit too hot, making me feel slightly dizzy after a soak. In contrast, the public hot spring in the courtyard was spacious and, due to its larger size, less likely to make you feel lightheaded. Sometimes, we'd take advantage of an empty moment to relax in the big pool. The hotel helped us purchase tickets for the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' show, with seats in the middle of the central section, offering an excellent view. When we returned, the hot spring water was already drawn, and a fresh assortment of fruits (different every day, including dragon fruit, oranges, or cucumbers and cherry tomatoes) awaited us. The mini-fridge was regularly restocked with 'Bingfeng' soda, Perrier, Nongfu Spring NFC juice, and sour plum soup. It was wonderful to soak in the hot spring right after coming back, gazing at the fireworks from the show and the stars. Secondly, the hotel breakfast was a perfect 10. There was a wide variety of options, including hot dishes and cold appetizers. Health-conscious guests could enjoy a self-service salad bar, coffee, skim milk, and vegetable juices. For those craving carbs, there were 'saozi' noodles, the local specialty 'rouwan hulatang' (meatball spicy soup), various other hot dishes, and a full selection of fruits – I was extremely satisfied. However, the food at the hotel's 御膳苑 (Imperial Cuisine Restaurant) was rather bland, which might be a letdown for those accustomed to stronger flavors. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot was an unexpected delight. A dedicated hotel room was set up for styling, offering a wide array of Tang and Han Dynasty costumes. The makeup artist was incredibly skilled; the makeup stayed perfectly even after soaking in the hot spring and sweating – truly impressive! The photographer guided us to picturesque spots both within the hotel and the scenic area, offering careful instructions on poses. The photos turned out amazing, a definite thumbs-up!

We arrived at T5 Xi'an airport past midnight and by the time we cleared immigration and customs, it was already 1.30am. After we message them, Moon Hotel sent a mini-bus to pick us up. Moon Hotel is short distance from hotel but the bus needed to pick others from other terminals. By the time we reached hotel, it was 2.30am Check-in was smooth and our twin bedroom was very spacious. Room was very clean with modern furnishings. Bathroom was large. The most amazing experience was the bed mattress. It was very comfortable amd bed has 2 soft toys. We sleep very well for 5 hours but we had to checked out for our next destination. Moon Hotel is next to the police station, another local hotel and eateries. Our hotel breakfast was chinese buffet style but no coffee. Breakfast is from 6.45-9.30 am. Hotel provided us bus transfer to airport. We recommend Moon Hotel as layover airport hotel and for very comfortable beds.

Our family chose the雅致 hotel for our trip to Xi'an, and I was truly amazed! This hotel just opened in 2024, and both the decor and environment pleasantly surprised us. We all loved it. From the public areas to the rooms, the Tang Dynasty-style decor is stunning, and everything is spotlessly clean. They even offer a city wall view afternoon tea where you can directly see the city walls. The service is also excellent; both the front desk and housekeeping staff are incredibly friendly. If I have the chance to visit Xi'an again, I'll definitely choose this hotel. The surrounding amenities are also comprehensive, and the hotel even offers a rubbing experience for kids, which is a great souvenir. The subway entrance is right outside, making transportation very convenient, and the mini-bar in the room is complimentary. Overall, I highly recommend it. It truly lives up to its name,雅致 Hotel!

Excellent! My entire stay, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable. They even upgraded my room for free. I have to specifically mention the Novotel Bell Tower Xi'an for this trip. The staff, not just the servers, made me feel like family, taking the time to understand and help me. I believe the person at the front desk was a manager, though I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten their name. They even gave me complimentary milk. That evening, a staff member called me and brought it back just as I was having trouble sleeping – perfect timing! I won't go into too much detail, but during the New Year period, I really appreciate the thoughtful and attentive service from both the hotel and its staff. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return.

I booked this room last minute and stayed for 5 nights. I was really happy with how clean and tidy it was. The room had a large balcony directly facing the city wall, offering great views. Getting around was also very convenient. The room rate included breakfast, which was perfect for us late sleepers – we didn't have to go out looking for breakfast once we woke up, we could just head straight to the hotel restaurant. From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff were all fantastic and incredibly accommodating. Next time any of my friends visit Xi'an, I'll definitely be recommending this place to them!

This hotel boasts an excellent location right next to the Yongning Gate city wall, and conveniently, next to Heshunhui Shopping Mall. Upon checking in, you can enjoy a Hanfu experience at their Hanfu studio on the 8th floor. We took our child there, and she looked absolutely beautiful after getting dressed up and having her makeup done. You can then wear the Hanfu to the city wall! The metro station is just a two-minute walk away, and the hotel is perfectly situated for visiting nearby attractions. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and I found the staff to be incredibly warm and welcoming. Their service was outstanding; when we checked in, they offered us tea, helped with our luggage, and even escorted us to our room. The room itself was spotless and the service continued to be excellent. All in all, I would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an because it was truly wonderful.

JJunmoyigeThis was my first stay at the Sofitel Legend Xi'an, the only Sofitel Legend property in mainland China under Accor's luxury brand. The hotel boasts an excellent location at 319 Dongxin Street, Xincheng District, Xi'an, close to many historical sites like the Bell Tower. The People's Mansion complex at 319 Dongxin Street houses four hotels: Sofitel Legend Xi'an, Sofitel Xi'an on Renmin Square, Grand Mercure Xi'an on Renmin Square, and Mercure Xi'an on Renmin Square. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, making transportation incredibly convenient. After the founding of New China in 1949, to meet the needs of official foreign接待, the Xi'an People's Mansion was established in 1953 in the ancient capital of Xi'an. It was then the largest, best-equipped, and highest-standard foreign affairs guesthouse in the Northwest region, initiated and overseen by the leaders of the Northwest Military and Political Committee. In the early 21st century, with the deepening of reform and opening-up and the flourishing tourism industry, under the unified leadership of Shaanxi Investment Group Co., Ltd., the People's Mansion entrusted Accor Group Hotel Management Company to professionally operate and manage the hotel cluster within the complex. Significant funds were invested, initiating a continuous upgrade and renovation project that lasted over ten years. This ultimately resulted in the creation of Mercure, Grand Mercure, Sofitel, and the fifth and only Sofitel Legend hotel in the world located in China. To the east is the Sofitel International Convention and Exhibition Center, which officially opened after 2000. This center features a pillar-less grand ballroom, 11 multi-functional meeting rooms, and a specialty Chinese restaurant. To the west is the Sofitel People's Theater. The theater, built in 1954, was renovated and upgraded after 2000, becoming an important venue for political and cultural activities in Shaanxi Province and even the entire Northwest region. From 1953 to 1974, the People's Mansion was not open to the public, with its main entrance guarded by Chinese People's Liberation Army soldiers, conveying both a sense of solemn strictness and an intriguing mystery of that era. In 2014, Building 1 of Xi'an People's Mansion completed its refurbishment. Building 1 of the People's Mansion stands in the heart of the ancient capital, carrying the city's glorious memories since 1953. It once served as an important venue for receiving state guests, and has now been magnificently transformed into the Sofitel Legend Xi'an, retaining its historical heritage while exuding a new brilliance of French elegance and contemporary luxury. The Sofitel Legend Xi'an embodies luxury that is never ostentatious; it is subtly hidden in meticulously crafted details. We firmly believe that true respect goes beyond magnificent spaces and lies in a refined response to lifestyle. The Sofitel Legend hotel has eight floors. The basement houses the spa, the ground floor features the lobby, with the front desk on the left, along with a swimming pool, a museum, a fitness center, and the Roman Holiday Italian Restaurant. The second floor offers meeting rooms and a business center. The hotel offers four types of suites: a 61 sqm Premier Suite, a 98 sqm Luxury Premier Suite, a 133 sqm Imperial Suite, and a 183 sqm Chang'an Suite. The 61 sqm Premier Suite is well-designed, with a quiet and comfortable room and fresh, pleasant air. Upon entering, there's a living room with a minibar, followed by the bedroom. Beyond the bedroom, there's a bathtub and a separate wet and dry bathroom with a shower. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. During check-in, they proactively introduced nearby attractions and transportation routes – highly recommended!

GGuest UserI stayed for three nights and was very satisfied overall, so even after leaving Xi'an, I still wanted to leave a review. The hygiene was good, and the room had no strange odors. I casually mentioned if they had a lint roller, and sure enough, the hotel arranged one for me the next day. They even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. Excellent service! There's only one thing that could be improved: since I stayed for three nights, I had breakfast three times, and it was the same every day. By the end, I didn't know what to eat. If you're only staying one day, it's not an issue. I suggest they could offer a wider variety for breakfast or rotate a few items daily. Oh, and most importantly, they didn't force me to leave a good review to get the souvenir, which made me feel very comfortable. People are reciprocal; good work deserves praise! 👍

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to a main road. Diagonally opposite, you'll find Wangfujing Street and bus route 26, which goes directly to the Shaanxi History Museum. The subway is about a 10-minute walk away. It's about 20 minutes to Yongning Gate and 25 minutes to the Stele Forest. The front desk staff are all young, very enthusiastic, and the service is great. We stayed for three consecutive nights, and the room was cleaned every day. The only downside is that the room we booked was close to the main road. When I booked, I thought the heating might be an issue and wanted a window, but both the superior twin room and the upgraded family room were near the main road, so we couldn't open the window at night. The radiator in our room made noise constantly, which was more noticeable in the middle of the night. However, my parents' room didn't have this problem, and they slept very well.

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, close to the Drum Tower, City Wall, and Muslim Quarter, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy walking. Despite being in a bustling area, our high-floor room offered a great view of the Drum Tower from the top floor, which was a wonderful touch. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The front desk service was incredibly friendly. The hotel also features a tea room and a laundry room, offering convenient amenities. While there aren't many rooms, this adds to a strong sense of privacy. The lobby and corridors exude a pleasant aroma, creating a fantastic ambiance. I'll definitely be returning! 👍

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a magnificent Chinese-style design. We booked a family room, and the description mentioned a 2-meter bed plus a 1.3-meter tatami, leading us to believe the tatami would only accommodate one person. To our surprise, the tatami was actually 2x3 meters, easily sleeping three! A hotel staff member accompanied us to our room, meticulously explaining all the features and recommending dining and sightseeing spots. The room's location is superb, right at the foot of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We could sit on the balcony sofa, sipping the complimentary afternoon tea provided by the hotel, and admire the pagoda. During the Chinese New Year, there were different activities daily, such as paper cutting, sugar painting, and lantern making – no two days were the same. The hotel staff were warm and professional. The breakfast buffet was extensive; the freshly made rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious – I had two bowls myself! They even proactively offered a bento box for our child who didn't want to get out of bed. When we checked out and opened our door to push our luggage, a staff member immediately arranged for a colleague to help us with our bags. This is truly a hotel with heart; we're so grateful to have found it. It's the perfect choice for a trip to Xi'an.
