We had an absolutely perfect stay at Beyond Kata in Phuket. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable, and the hotel’s atmosphere made our trip really special.
A very special thanks to San (trainee), who assisted us so well throughout our stay. San was always friendly, attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. His professionalism and kindness truly made a difference and elevated our experience.
We highly recommend Beyond Kata and would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Phuket!

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the exceptionally helpful staff. They were knowledgeable and could answer all my questions. The cleanliness was outstanding, which I really appreciated. They also have a swimming pool, which I enjoyed using. The water was incredibly clean, and it seemed like they cleaned it constantly after each use. The pool area itself was well-maintained and beautiful. I genuinely recommend this place; it's absolutely fantastic. I would definitely come back and book a stay here again if I have the opportunity. Highly, highly recommended!

We found this hotel to be an exceptional value. The stunning view of the beach provides a perfect backdrop for a truly quiet and relaxing stay. We never had trouble finding a spot by the pool, as there were always plenty of comfortable sun loungers available. The staff's service was fantastic, and while the breakfast was simple, it was delicious and more than enough to start our day. The hotel's location is also a major plus—everything you need, from restaurants and a night market to shopping and convenience stores, is just a short walk away. Plus, it’s a quick and easy 15-20 minute taxi ride to Patong beach.

This hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from the beach, yet it remains pleasantly quiet, which made my stay very comfortable. The greatest strength of the property is its staff — always attentive, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to interact with.
While the furniture and fittings are slightly dated, the overall cleanliness was excellent, which I value the most. The hotel offers a spacious swimming pool, delicious breakfast options, and convenient room service. I ordered food to my room, and they even included a complimentary dish, which was a lovely gesture.
Additional services such as excursions, taxi bookings, and an on-site currency exchange machine make the stay even more convenient. I also visited the spa, which provided a very positive and relaxing experience.
Overall, a comfortable and welcoming hotel with excellent service.

The room was very clean. Everyone was very helpful. It wasn’t really close to anything, but a few restaurants no beach accessible. Unless you wanted to go swim with a bunch of boats. Laundry was very easy. It was right by the front desk. The pool was kept very clean a pretty nice relaxing area. I loved my balcony. I was on it all the time. I was in the older building. The newer building seemed a little nicer. I would stay again.
Very large hotel. I recommend booking a villa or room with access to the pool. The hotel has 4 very nice pools. The facilities are very clean. They let me in before the cheking and leave 2 hours later. The area is great there are many places to eat on the beach, good atmosphere, hams on the beach for only 100b and a seven eleven at the door.

I first discovered Sawasdee Village by chance while walking around in the evening, and the atmosphere absolutely amazed me. It felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of the tourist chaos, so I decided to plan my next trip around staying here.
The room itself was small but cozy and very clean, although a bit old and in need of some renovation. I had read about this in reviews beforehand, so I was prepared for it and booked only one night. Honestly, if the rooms were more modern, I would have gladly stayed for a week or longer. On the positive side, everything worked well: Wi-Fi was stable, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I loved the canopy and the ceiling with glowing stars. The view from my window overlooked the beautiful garden, and the room even had a humidifier with essential oils, which made it smell wonderful.
The property is simply stunning — two pools, a spa, a restaurant, water bars, billiards and table football, as well as plenty of cozy corners to relax in. It was a delight to stroll through the lush garden, sit by the fountains, and swing on the hammocks. Breakfast was included and offered a generous buffet with many choices. In the room I also had a capsule coffee machine, bottled water, tea, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, insect repellent, cookies, and even a flashlight — such thoughtful details.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. They helped with my luggage and allowed me to check in 1.5 hours earlier since my room was ready. The location is also convenient, close to the beach and shops, and I loved the little foot shower at the entrance to wash off sand before entering the hotel.
As for value — it’s a bit mixed. On the one hand, the unique atmosphere and privacy are worth the price. On the other hand, I noticed that within the same hotel, villas with direct pool access were actually cheaper than the room I booked (although when I reserved my room, the pool villas were more expensive). Still, I think Sawasdee Village is a special place, perfect for a relaxing stay — even for something as romantic as a wedding photoshoot

This hotel is built on a hill, so its interior design is quite rich and layered, making it feel more interesting. The room itself was okay; the decor had a resort-like vibe, but the bathroom and shower lights were dim, and the disposable slippers were incredibly thin. Overall, the room was just average.
However, what truly stood out for me was the hotel's key amenity: the absolutely stunning infinity pool, which offers direct views over Kata Beach. It's incredibly photogenic! The restaurant is on the same floor, so on a nice day, you can enjoy a rooftop breakfast.
The hotel is actually very close to Kata Beach; you can walk down a slope and cut through an alley next to a 7-Eleven. For the low season, the price was quite reasonable.
All the front desk staff were professional and friendly. The resort is a bit old but still very nice. I extended my stay because I liked it. The room was in good condition, and the swimming pool was large. This resort is great for families. There are many food promotions, and you can easily spend the whole day there.I definitely recommend it and would love to come back again.

MMrV12341234LOVED our stay here and would recommend the place to others. See my below pros and cons.
Pros:
-the staff was very friendly. They all worked very hard to make sure the guests are happy.
-The food was delicious (especially the curry’s). Everything is good except maybe some of the western things like the hamburgers. Stick with the Thai dishes. The breakfast buffet was slightly above average.
-The rooms were very clean. No bugs.
-They provided us a very nice crib for our nine month old
-we never once heard our neighbors, or any guests, through the walls.
-The ac worked great.
-There is a free shuttle to old town Phuket each day (but see cons below on this).
You can use the Bolt or Grab app to call a taxi. This is much cheaper than the on site taxi.
-Free ride to and from the local beach (it’s not realistic to walk there because the road is too steep).
-The beach is very quiet compared to most beaches in Phuket. There is a bar at the beach that serves all kinds of drinks.
There are free beach chairs for you. If they are all taken the staff has large picnic mats for you to use (see below for negatives about the beach)
-beach area has a small children’s playground. One of those plastic castle style climb / slide things. There is also two small football (soccer) goals and a volleyball net.
-the beach is really nice in its own way. The sand and water is not as beautiful as other Phuket beaches, especially those on the west side, but the views of the nearby islands make it very serene and something the west side beaches don’t have. If you’re not coming to snorkel and see fish, it’s a good beach. There is also lots of shade if needed.
-you get one free kayak rental per stay
-The sheets in the room were changed every day and were very clean and comfortable
-The hot water was really hot and never ran out.
-our room had a mini fridge that worked great and had a little freezer section.
-The pool is very clean, cool, and relaxing. You can order drinks right in the pool
-The upper pool has an amazing view of the Thai islands. Make sure to get to the pool early (8-9am) and secure a chair or two if you plan to have a pool day.
-speaking of the view, because you’re on the east side, there are many islands in the distance, making the view’s spectacular. The west side beaches you’re looking out into open ocean. Here you see mountains and hills in the distance.
Cons:
-they give your room 2 water bottles each day, but you’re stuck at the resort unless you hire a taxi. So we had to continually buy water from the desk or restaurant until we went out to the 7-11 (I recommend stopping at a convenience store on your taxi ride to the resort and stock up on water, drinks, snacks etc that you enjoy)
-you have to get a taxi everywhere, even to a convenience store.
-There is a small store on site that sells snacks, drinks, souvenirs, cigarettes, etc. but it was never open. We got really frustrated because our 9 month old uses water for his formula and we simply couldn’t get enough water, so we had to repeatedly ask to use the store and then a worker finally came and let us buy some water.
-Our room did not have electric outlets next to the bed (could be a pro for some?). Actually, there was only one outlet in the room that was reasonably accessible to charge phones. (Plug outlets are multi purpose, had USA & Europe holes)
-The snorkeling is terrible at the Supalai beach. Very murky and cloudy water (The tides are rather extreme here, hundreds of feet of shore line exposed), leaving a muddy/marsh like area at the beach each evening. We even did a day trip over to Naka Yai island and Nahka noi island and the snorkeling was also pointless because the water is so cloudy. If you plan to snorkel don’t stay in the east side. But if you just want to side by the shore, relax, and get in for a quick dip… the beach is ok.
-No cloths line In Room to hang wet clothes / beach towels
-the free shuttle into town only seats 11 people so you need to r
LLamKatyNoku hotel can give you a vacation with tranquility and convenience, it is close to most of the family friendly spots like zipline, dolphins show, tiger show, elephant suntuary, Central shopping mall in 20 to 30 mins( by grab)..
hotel staff are nice and warm, the main pool and
architectural design in Japanese modern and zen style are stylish.
Breakfasts were enjoyable with nice food and wonderful and breathtaking view (and not crowded)
Embrace (the only restaurant) serves very high quality of western and Thai food in a reasonable price.
The only negative comment is the pool in the villa is quite small and I am not sure how often they clean it up.
They have kids massges for aged 6 or above, which enables parents to enjoy massages at the same time.
This is a hotel underrated.
UUmbaaWe had a wonderful 4-night stay at Grassland Resort Phuket.
The staff were extremely friendly, the service was convenient, and the room was very clean.
Special thanks to the reception staff for the room upgrade — it made our trip truly unforgettable.
Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI believe it used to be a Six Senses resort. It's located on an island, just a five-minute speedboat ride away. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel truly embraces its natural environment, so be prepared to encounter wildlife like centipedes, insects, snakes, monkeys, and various small birds. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to completely unwind and relax at the property. However, the food variety at the hotel is somewhat limited, and there are virtually no other dining options on the island. Despite these points, it's still a great place overall.
AAnonymous UserRoom is clean, staffs are friendly. However the location to town is quite far and nearby does not have many food options. But overall is pleasant and happy stay for chill days.
EEric Ooi TW⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay!
From the moment we arrived, Hyatt Regency Phuket impressed us with its stunning ocean views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and came with a breathtaking view of the Sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. We also loved the pool area — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sunset.
Special mention to the shuttle service that made getting around Patong and Kamala so convenient. The hotel truly offers a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, relaxing and great service.
We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!
NNIMA101We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The ocean view was breathtaking and the entire place was spotless. We loved the restaurant’s delicious dishes—every meal was a treat—and the swimming pool was just the cherry on top. Every member of the staff was so friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful—it made our stay even more special.
Totally 100% satisfied and already dreaming of our next visit.
__WeChat229187****Overall positive review. The public areas are huge, and the environment is great with lush vegetation and small animals. The pool is beautiful, and you can access the sea directly from the back door.
However, the sea view suite I booked was in building D, not a beachfront property, and it was a bit old. My room key failed twice.
Also, there's no Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk.
NNikitaThe pool and the breakfast are good. We also had a nice town view.
The room is controversial. We had to wait till exactly 14:00 to check in. We couldn't even check in at 13:58. The toilet is a joke. It has a big glass with a frosted part so you can see a silhouette of a person in the shower. The sliding door has a big gap so you can see a person sitting on a toilet through it. So there's no sound proof on the toilet and you can see and hear almost everything happening inside. I had to go to the first floor toilet to do my things. And water pipes are noisy and might start buzzing in the middle of the night. A few times we heard loud music somewhere in the hotel so we had to call the reception to solve the problem otherwise it was impossible to rest in the room. There also was dust somewhere in the room.
I'm not sure I'll stay there again.
AAnonymous UserI really loved the staff in this hotel. If you have problems, they are more than willing to help you 🥰❤️ just like the instance that my phone was left in the taxi. They called the taxi driver and brought it back to me. ❤️
I’ve never been disappointed, it’s really indeed a 5-star hotel experience 🥰🔥🥰
Thank you so much for the whole staff, really enjoyed my entire stay 🤩🤩🤩 keep it up guys ❤️
When I’ll be back in Phuket, I will definitely stay here 🎉
