3-Star Hotels in Shanghai, China

After landing at Pudong International Airport last night around 10 PM, it was too late to go home, so we opted for a nearby hotel that offered airport shuttle service. We hurried to catch the 11 PM shuttle. In the morning, shuttles depart for the international airport every 50 minutes past the hour. The shuttle service was quite good. However, the hotel's facilities were really subpar. We were initially given a standard room, but the shower drain was clogged. The staff kindly upgraded us to a family room. Unfortunately, the sink in the family room's bathroom caused my right thumb to bleed quite a bit because the drain stopper was so stiff and wouldn't budge. The entire room felt quite stuffy, and the hotel itself seemed old and rundown. Even the new room we were given had drainage issues... Its convenient location is a plus, and for just one night, my expectations weren't high, so the price was acceptable. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up. A warm bowl of congee was a nice touch too.

I booked this hotel online specifically for my Disneyland trip. Given the low price, I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was! It's clean, hygienic, and the service was good. They even upgraded my room to one with a window, which was lovely. The facilities are complete, and the environment is nice. It's also super close to the subway station, just a seven or eight-minute walk, and near Disneyland. Overall, it's excellent, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next Disney visit!

Everything was wonderful. Great location, although it took me a minute to realise that I needed to get an elevator up from the middle of the hall. there were no clear signs and I kept wondering around, exhausted. airport workers tried to help, but the language barrier was in the way. A pricy, but clean, comfortable and quiet place to get some sleep between flights.

The shuttle bus to the airport was packed; the whole bus was full, so I recommend going a bit early, or you might have to find your own way there. The airport pick-up runs every hour on the dot, and check-in is handled alongside the Jinjiang Inn next door. The shuttle service was good. When we checked in during the afternoon, there were many empty rooms on our floor, but they still gave us a room at the very end of the hallway! Apart from anything else, it was really far from the elevator! After dragging our luggage all the way there, we were too tired to ask for a room change. Deliveries couldn't even reach our room. The bathroom was fairly clean, but the bedding wasn't exceptionally clean. The overall environment was just okay for a layover – a place to get by for a night. It doesn't stand up to close inspection, but it wasn't the 'guesthouse vibe' that some reviews mentioned. All of the above was somewhat acceptable, but the worst part was that there's ongoing renovation work outside, making it so loud it felt like sleeping on a construction site! I couldn't rest at all in the afternoon because of the constant banging and clanging from all directions – windows, ceiling, everywhere! It was a real headache! The video I recorded was just a short clip; it was much louder at other times. If you need to rest during the day, I definitely don't recommend staying here anytime soon!!

The hotel experience was excellent! The bed was super comfortable, and everything was very clean. There's a subway station about a kilometer away, so transportation is convenient. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai.

Overall, my stay was quite good and exceeded my expectations. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness; there was no strange smell in the room, and the bathroom was meticulously cleaned, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The hotel staff were all very polite, actively greeting guests, which made me feel welcome and friendly. Although the room facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and all worked perfectly. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the food was tasty and satisfying. If I visit this city again, I would likely choose to stay here.

Youli Hotel has a very convenient and excellent location. There are many food options just beside and opposite the hotel, making it very easy to find meals at any time of the day. The main shopping area is only about a 10-minute walk away, and even the main attraction, 上海外滩 (The Bund), is within walking distance, which makes getting around extremely convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and considering the price and location, it is definitely very good value for money. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. They took the time to guide us on where to walk and how to get around, which was very helpful for first-time visitors. They also assisted us with booking a car to the airport, making our departure smooth and worry-free. Overall, this is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, well-located hotel at a reasonable price, with helpful and attentive staff. We would definitely recommend Youli Hotel to others and would consider staying here again in the future 😊

Booked this for a friend who was stopping over in Shanghai after returning from Japan, and needed a place to rest for a night. I looked at a few hotels and ultimately chose this one. The location is excellent, and the breakfast included was fantastic value for money. Definitely worth staying here again!

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow! **Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs. **Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow! **Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room. **Cleanliness:** Relatively clean. **Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly. **Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us. **Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

The staff are very accommodating , the rooms are clean and comfortable , and the breakfast are delicious and at affordable price. It is convenient place to go The Bund! We have great stay overall , and strongly recommend it.🎉🎉👏👏❤️❤️
