Extremely satisfied with this hotel! It's super convenient, just a one-minute walk from the Shinkansen station. No need to drag your luggage far! I booked a double room in the North Tower, which was perfect for one person, and the space was decent. They replaced towels, slippers, and coffee daily. My booking included breakfast, and you could choose between Japanese and Western options. The Japanese breakfast even had Kagoshima Kurobuta pork hotpot, which was so filling I didn't need to eat again, allowing me to try more things later! I preferred the Western breakfast; the coffee was good, and the toast was delicious. I ended up having Western breakfast two days in a row, and they also offered takeaway coffee packets and waffles, which was a nice touch! I'll definitely stay here again when I go to Kagoshima and will recommend it to my friends!

It's very clean, and the bedding and toiletries are brand new. On the first floor, the lobby offers a variety of DHC cleansers, toners, and makeup removers, so if you're not too picky, you don't even need to bring any toiletries. It's right next to the Tenmonkan shopping district, which is very convenient, and the 'Woa Ren' restaurant there is delicious. I'll definitely go back again; I really enjoyed the food in Kagoshima, and if I return, I'll stay at this hotel again.

Conveniently close to where you can take a bus to the airport. There is a microwave on the ground floor. My one complaint is that the cedar bath could not used as others had already reserved it for the whole evening and there aren’t any day use onsens close by.

Richmond hotel was located opposite a big department store, with easy access to bus and trams. A combini is just opposite the hotel. They have a wider range of personal amenities to pick at the lobby. They have 3 machines to handle checkout, exchange currency (e.g. 1000¥ to 100¥ coins for laundry machines on 6th floor, or break 10,000¥ to smaller notes). The machines also accept your hotel parking charges. When it was raining, hotel provided full size umbrellas for use, without deposit or giving room numbers, which is very convenient. It has a car park with limited lots, so if you can secure one ,it will be very easy to unload and load your bags. Costs 2400¥ for 2 nights of parking. Main place for food is closer to Tenmonkan area, which is walkable.

The location is great, right in front of the tram stop, and there are many good restaurants nearby. The public bath is also a nice touch for unwinding after a long day. I booked a twin room, and as expected for a Japanese business hotel, it was small. I had to open my suitcase near the entrance as there wasn't a separate luggage rack. On the second floor, there's a reception area where you can enjoy unlimited coffee and other drinks. While the amenities aren't extensive, they are well-stocked at the reception. There's also a gym, and the breakfast restaurant offers a fantastic view, especially for catching the sunrise over Sakurajima in the morning.

Very conveniently located close to the tram (which goes to the location to catch the bus to Kagoshima airport), as well as other places obviously. Also about  ten minute walk to Sakurajima ferry and about a fifteen minute walk to the high speed ferry that goes to Yakushima.   Has laundry and drying that you need to pay for on the first floor. Rooms are typical Japanese business hotel rooms but not ultra small or cramped. I stayed here for several days and enjoyed the view of Sakurajima in the morning and night.  Staff are friendly and prompt.

I booked this hotel on Trip.com for my summer trip to Japan, and my stay was excellent! Self check-in is available from 3 PM. The hotel boasts a convenient location and pleasant surroundings, though its facade is quite unassuming and easy to miss. Our connecting family rooms (two rooms) weren't particularly spacious but were clean and well-equipped, featuring an air purifier and an LG clothes dryer. Guests can also enjoy a public bath on the 12th floor. Located just 1.4 km from Kagoshima-Chuo Station, the area around the hotel offers a plethora of unique dinner options, such as the famous 'Wagaiebi' izakaya, specialty soba noodle shops, and a wide array of other local delicacies. Furthermore, drugstores, bakeries, and supermarkets are all conveniently accessible. While summer prices tend to be a bit higher, the hotel offers very reasonable rates during off-peak seasons.

GGuest UserThe location may be inconvenient, but it's a great place for healing purposes. The food is delicious and the view is amazing. There are many stars in the evening, and in the summer, you can enjoy the pool, which seems even better. The hot springs in the hotel are free, and when there aren't many people, I was alone and took a picture of the bath. It felt like a private bath because I could enjoy it alone. The hot springs while looking at the sea were the best. The hot springs are open from 5 AM to 12 AM. I'm so happy that they operate. And most of all, the staff were really kind. I was impressed that they greeted me from the time I arrived at the hotel until I left.

GGuest UserEveryone is very friendly and it's nice at home. The rice is very good and the beach is nearby, so it is perfect for spending a luxurious time. This room is a wooden house with high ceilings and a touch of woody fragrance. The ceiling fan invites you to travel. Taking a step to the balcony, the stars look very beautiful, and the sounds of various creatures come and go. I feel that I have found something forgotten in my city life. I want to live longer. Thank you very much for picking up from the airport. If you come to Ammei, please be sure to stay, I will recommend it.

GGuest UserEven though this is an old hotel and it shows in its facilities and overall design, the service and amenities you get as a solo traveller is worth thw price you pay for an overnight stay. The room is clean albeit small but sufficient. Some points to take note if you're planning to book: This is close to the central station so it's juat a block away from major shopping and transport options. The hotel closes its front desk and doors at 11 pm to 7 am. Checkin before 11 pm. Going in and out of the hotel at that time is possible if you use your key card to open the front doors. Walls are thin and it's very possible that you would hear your neighbor. There's free coffee and drinks at the lobby.

GGuest UserAs for cleanliness, the hotel is still new, so the room was very clean. One thing that bothered me was, was it a mistake by the cleaning staff? There were tea bags on the shelf in the room, but there was one tea bag on the shelf above it, which was neatly propped up. Are there two per room...? The location is a bit of a walk from Yanigawa (about an 8-minute walk), but it might be good for multiple people! The location is not complicated, so you can find it easily. However, since it is outside the downtown area, there is nothing around...just another hotel or a ******** parlor! It is a bit dark, so it might be a bit scary for a woman to walk there alone. There is no convenience store nearby, so be careful! The necessary facilities and amenities are available. There were separate pajamas for top and bottom. The bath was a type without a bathtub. In terms of service, I had booked a single non-smoking room, but they upgraded me to a double room because there was a vacancy ^ ^

MMrBlueSkyThe accommodation is just opposite the Central Station, only a 2-minute walk away. The hotel is also easy to find and its appearance is very conspicuous. The room is very big and can open 2 suitcases. The room is very clean and sanitary. There is a washing machine in the room and a clothes dryer in the bathroom, which is very useful. Will stay again next time.
