2-Star Hotels in Chongqing, China

The hotel is located at rooftop. It has the paranomic view and can take nice video in the city view. However, there is a setback - the lift stop at 29th Floor. Have to climb up to 30th floor. My advice is for those who have heavy luggage might be a bit difficult to handle. However, the hotel staffs are very friendly, they are always willing to help to carry the luggage for you. As an overall, still recommend to stay for a 2 to 3 days, because it is near to all the place of interests.

honestly would only recommend to come here because of the location . if you're expecting a ”hotel” like environment, feel free to the book the one next door at raffles city . this place is located in a extremely run down apartment complex, 3 lifts and 2 are forever broken — waited for at least 10mins for every single lift ride up/down throughout the 4 nights we stayed . not sure if it's just the room we were in but we were staying in the first room right at the main door and the noise you hear every morning and night because of construction or people slamming the main door? ridiculous !!!!! the toilet was also constantly flooding and we couldnt even take showers that lasted longer than 10mins or the whole toilet and room would flood . the cleanliness of the place? prob a 4/10 — could be better but still quite sus .

I had a wonderful stay at IDLE Vacation Hotel in Chongqing! The location is excellent—just a short walk to both Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. The surrounding area is full of great food and local attractions. The room design is super futuristic and stylish, especially the hanging chair and ambient lighting—perfect for photos! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the details really impressed me. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. Great value for the price, especially since we got a special discount. Truly worth it! I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Chongqing.

The main thing is that the front desk service is good, and the washing machine is very powerful. It is so close to the snack street, just a few minutes walk. The linens are also very clean, the air conditioning is effective, and there is enough hot water for bathing. If there is a downside, it is that the elevator is crowded and you have to wait...

youth hostel with positive vibes. warm and cozy music playlist make you feel at home. staff all are young and dynamic ppl. its a one floor property so you can experience all activities, music, coffee corner, working desk, meal corner, from the momment you walk in . it is inside a building, you would need take public lift to get the hotel. building lobby a bit sketchy but dun worry its safe . for me , everything okay, just the bed is too old. its not sunken but it is so hard and i can feel the spring . i asked additional duvet to layer the mattress, the young boy gave it to me and asked me to settle my self bcs its not their or aunt's job. hehe . anyway, i recommend and would like stay here again .

We had a very nice stay at the apartment. The location is very convenient, right next to the metro and in a lively neighborhood with shops, restaurants and markets working 24h. The view of the room was spectacular! The host was nice and very responsive. The room was spacious and had all listed amenities. Only thing that could be improved a bit is cleanness.

Very well located apartment and the apartment was clean and spacious enough for 2 persons. There was hot water available at the shower throughout our 7 nights stay. 18 Ladder (18 ti) is just 200 m away and can be seen from the window clearly on the 38th floor. Beautiful view of the Yangtze. Highly recommended.

Metro Exit 1 is a min walk across road at side alley to get to hotel, very near Northgate for shopping/food. Hotel bed is comfortable, clean room, near airport for early flight inclusive transport to airport.

Advantages: 1. The front desk lady is very gentle, the cleaning lady is very warm and kind, the superior bed is upgraded to a business bed for free, the hotel also has umbrellas for free use, and the comfort level is extremely high 2. Although it is on the roadside, it is not noisy at all. The curtains are 100% light-proof. The quality of the guests staying here is very high. I didn't hear any loud noises during my four-day stay. 3. Although the room is not big, it has complete facilities. The shampoo is smooth without shower gel. The hair dryer is very fast. There are plenty of hangers and the sofa is clean. 4. The bedding is comfortable and Huazhu Club is a guarantee. I, a clean freak, really can't stand living in a dirty and messy building. Areas that can be improved: 1. The room needs to be cleaned. There is no room button to remind you like other hotels. It needs to be cleaned manually. 2. There is no hotel-exclusive elevator, so it will be crowded during peak hours and you will need to wait 3. If you stay for multiple days, you need to activate the room card every day. Sometimes you forget to go downstairs and swipe it again. But the overall experience is still perfect. The location is good, taxis are not expensive and there is no traffic jam anywhere. However, there are not many famous restaurants nearby, and there are not many takeout options. The washing machine and dryer are very useful though.
