This hotel is amazing! I stayed for two days and didn't want to leave. It's absolutely great value for money. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. It's right downstairs from Hongyadong, and best of all: it's a scenic room with a beautiful view as soon as you open the window.

This place is seriously awesome for anyone traveling alone, and it's got all the stuff you could possibly need! Big thumbs up for the gym, clothes dryer, and even a shoe washing machine – how cool is that? Plus, you can walk to tons of places from here. Oh, and here's a tip: you can totally ask the receptionist to stash your yogurt, fruit, and cake in their fridge. And get this, they'll even hold onto your luggage for a few days after you check out for free (it's only 3 RMB a day after that). Sweet deal!

This hotel is located near Jiefangbei and is very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are many attractions nearby, so it's easy to go wherever you want. The hotel facilities are very new, and it's kept clean with daily housekeeping. I stayed here for several days while in Chongqing, and the front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning ladies were also very responsible. It's a great choice for a stay in Chongqing.

My time at this hotel was amazing. chen jia-le at the reception upgraded my room and makesure that everything was all good for the 4 nights i was here. the views onto the city was impeccable. I would definitely recommend to any travellers visiting chongqing.

We only had a short 1 night stay but it was an amazing stay with the hotel being in a great location for tourist since there are plenty of attractions within walking distance or taxi distance and plenty of food and shopping nearby. We only stayed 1 night cause we were going on the Three Gorges cruise on the 2nd night at Chongqing and we were very happy that the hotel provided luggage lockers to let us store our luggage as we checked out early at 8am to go for a 1 day Chongqing tour before returning at 5pm to collect our luggage and go on our cruise. The staff was fantastic as well being very friendly and easy to communicate with. The best was when I accidentally left my earphones in my room when i checked out and only remembered when i got on my cruise and when i asked the staff about it, she said that she saw the earphones and actually put it in 1 of the side pockets of our luggage which i found and was so grateful to them after believing i might have lost my earphones.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Jiefangbei. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall, and plenty of snack streets and shops, making it super convenient for food and shopping. After exploring Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, you don't have to worry about taking a taxi back – it's just a few minutes' walk, which is really great.

This hotel was perfect for my trip. It was conveniently located, clean, and the service was excellent. The family room was spacious, quiet at night, and fully smart. I was very satisfied with everything.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's super close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, both less than 1 kilometer away. The Xiaoshizi subway station is right downstairs. The view from the window is also great; you can see landmark buildings. When the window is closed, it's very quiet and not noisy at all. During the day, opening the window gives you a wonderful feel of the bustling city streets. Full marks! 💯

This time I was in Chongqing for a business trip, which happened to coincide with the May Day holiday, so I took the opportunity to explore Chongqing for two days. It was my first solo trip, my first time in Chongqing, and my first time staying in a hostel. During check-in, a staff member showed me around the common areas like the restaurant, activity zone, restrooms, and laundry room, and explained some important details. The hostel's environment and atmosphere are fantastic, and there are even cats you can pet! Social butterflies can spontaneously organize games like Werewolf, or join in the hostel's planned activities. However, I'm not a very social person, and I spent most of my days out exploring, so I was rarely at the hostel except for sleeping at night. The common areas also feature a bar and a restaurant. I don't drink, and I wanted to try local Chongqing cuisine, so I barely ate at the hostel either. The dormitory rooms offer great privacy. There are lockers for valuables, and the bed curtains are blackout, providing complete darkness. Each bed also has its own light switch and power outlet, which is very convenient. The mattress and pillow were both very comfortable, and I slept soundly every night. Overall, the hostel has a wonderful atmosphere, and my stay was excellent. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose to stay at '吃山' again.
