This was my second time staying at Hotel Dormani in Kuching, and it had its ups and downs. We were fortunate to secure a room with two single beds for less than RM80, which was quite a steal given its proximity to Masjid Bandaraya Kuching. The main reason we chose this hotel was its convenient walking distance to the mosque, allowing us to easily attend Eid Adha prayers. However, our room was not without its issues. The bed linens were disappointingly dirty, with noticeable blood stains in several places. The window frame was dusty, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Moreover, one of the towels provided was torn, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the staff at Hotel Dormani were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. They were quick to address our concerns and tried their best to make our experience comfortable despite the shortcomings. In conclusion, while this hotel offers excellent value and convenience for those visiting Kuching, improvements are needed in maintaining cleanliness and the condition of amenities.

Je suis étonnée de voir que notre séjour n’a pas eu la même résonance que d’autres clients (commentaires précédents). Cependant je note que nous avons résidé dans les chambres face à la piscine avec terrasse, ce qui doit complètement changer le niveau des divers sons notamment de rue. Pour notre part, nous avons trouvé le personnel très sympathique, notre chambre était très propre et joliment aménagée, nettoyée et réapprovisionnée chaque jour. La piscine était toujours très propre. Et l’hôtel a un charme indéniable que nous avons beaucoup apprécié, au calme en plein centre ville ! Un petit havre de paix et de nature à proximité de tout. Nous recommandons cet hôtel, avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous sommes restés 3 jours, très satisfaits comparé aux autres hôtels où nous avons séjourné au Sarawak qui étaient très chers et médiocres.. Ils ont juste en bas un excellent restaurant que je recommande très fortement ! (Kantin at the Granary) Excellent. Foncez !

I choose this hotel as proposal place. My right decision to choose this hotel. Price very reasonable. This hotel very clean and quiet. It near to bar and dining place, there got a mini mart beside the hotel, very convenient. Car park provided. 24 hour front counter. if wanna have a breakfast around 8-9 am , I suggest ”Shan City” with delicious pan mee.

This little hotel served my purpose very well...initially booked 2 nights just to try it out but was satisfied with everything hence extended to 2 weeks stay lol (travel restriction due to COVID). Strategically located at Jalan Brooke, very easy to spot. Have their own convenient store at the lobby. Otherwise other 24hr mini mart also available behind the hotel. Places to eat & shop within 10 mins of walking distance. Single room is spacious compared to other inns/hotels within the same league. Daily housekeeping provided (cleanliness assured). Floor to ceiling windows provided natural lighting (very important otherwise it would be depressing). Internet connection most of the time quite fast, sometimes lag especially during night time. This is now my new port in Miri.
