Prime Location: Just a 3-5 minute walk to Toyama Station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's also easy to get to Canal Park and Toyama Castle. Some guests even receive complimentary rail tickets.
Modern and Spacious Facilities: At around 25㎡, the rooms are quite generous by Japanese standards. They feature separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, a bidet, a capsule coffee machine, and complimentary Toyama natural water. The decor is modern and minimalist, and the overall cleanliness is excellent.
The hotel is unforgettable. One berth and two food choices should be the most common set meal, but it is still amazing. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoy the breakfast in the courtyard snow scene, regardless of the tip of the tongue or the eyes, you have the ultimate enjoyment. Bibimbap snacks for breakfast have a variety of tricks, and Toyama famous things are worth trying. The exquisite presentation makes people unable to bear to eat, everything is ingenious. We did not book a private soup, because the scenery of the public soup is more beautiful! There are very few guests staying, and the hot spring in the snow is worth a try! As a paradise-like existence, you must accept the store's limited English output. Remember to bring your mobile phone translation software. Everything is not a problem. The store will be very active to help solve the problem! If you come to Zhuangchuanxia cruise ship, don't miss this hotel~
The hotel service was excellent. We easily obtained free tram passes from the front desk, which were very convenient for getting around. They also offer bicycles for guests to borrow. The only minor drawback is that the facilities are a bit dated. However, everything else was great, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.
Very satisfied with my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama. The hotel was kind enough to allow a flexible and early check-in, which made a big difference after travelling.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything I needed, especially in assisting my 72-year-old mum — their care and attentiveness really stood out.
The location is only a stone’s throw away from Toyama Station, making it very convenient for getting around.
The pyjamas were also surprisingly comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I was very happy with the experience and will definitely stay here again if I visit Toyama in the future.
Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.
The Isohanabi provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Isohanabi offers a pleasant stay in Takaoka for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from Amaharashi Station and 37km from Toyama Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Koshinoniwa, Woman Rock. and Sakuradani Ancient Mounds all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
Due to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning.
Very good hotel and the staff are very kind and helpful. It may mainly target local customers, so the general foreign language skills are not very good.
The smell of tatami mats was very good (^^)
It was a spacious and beautiful room that was too large to stay alone.
I was a little worried that some hair had fallen in the corner of the room because it was too beautiful.
It was good that the large communal bath was also wide 々.
Open air Lu も Maximum でした (≧∀≦)
I was happy to choose my favorite yukata.
Breakfast was delicious and I was able to eat a lot!
Miso soup was the best (^^)
The view from the room was immaculate, but the night view from the corridor was the best (* ^ o ^ *)
It is a hotel that I want to stay again.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from Unazuki Station. Since there was a heavy storm that day,
It was raining, so it was a bit awkward dragging my suitcase to the hotel. It was just renovated in 2023. There is a little smell in the room and the hot spring is very good! I paid extra to book a private bath. The water quality is so comfortable! The accommodation included dinner and breakfast the next day. The dinner was delicious. A male waiter could speak simple Chinese and had been to Shanghai. Basic communication was no problem. Breakfast the next day was still delicious. This hot spring area is relatively unpopular and there are not many online introductions, but it can avoid the crowds.
