I have no complaints about the hotel. We liked the interruption at your place. Very friendly, kind staff. The rooms are clean and everything is functional. You even asked during the cleaning of the room, usually in other hotels the cleaning comes by itself and knocks on the door, while the guests sleep. Your hotel respects the rest of guests and it's nice! Lunch tea and other bonuses for guests are also pleasant. We put the fruit in the room and changed the refrigerator on time. There were queues in the canteen in the morning, but now there are holidays and there are a lot of people in the hotel, it's understandable. There is a lot of food in the dining room, in most cases it is Chinese, but foreigners can also find something to eat for themselves. Thank you for your care and good rest🙏🏻💞

This is an absolute gem among all the hotels I've stayed in over 15 years of traveling across 40 countries.
The design of the rooms, corridors, and common areas is stunning and truly unique. There’s an arcade machine in the room with Nintendo games from my childhood… It feels like the hotel owner's personal signature style - and it's the most amazing highlight of this place!
A special afternoon tea with fantastic cookies is a wonderful service.
Breakfast is usually a buffet, as far as I understand, but on the day of my stay, there was no buffet, and breakfast was served individually for each guest. Still, it was very good and filling.
The location is excellent - right next to the bus station. That means you can check in immediately after arriving from the airport by airport bus, or leave your luggage if you arrive early. Getting anywhere in the city is also easy, quick and cheap by local buses.
The room was very comfortable: quiet and very warm (I stayed during the cold season), exceptionally clean, with a great bathroom, and everything was in perfect condition. The bed was very comfortable with amazingly soft pillows worthy of a high-end hotel - and they even provide several pillows with different levels of softness!
The staff's attitude toward guests is excellent: I'm a light sleeper, and quietness is important to me, but in Asia this is often a problem even in expensive hotels. So when booking, I requested a quiet room on a high floor and away from the elevator - and my wishes were fulfilled perfectly.
And for all of this, the price is simply incredible. This hotel is worth traveling to Yantai just to stay here!
Overall, it's a masterpiece. The only places I've seen that are better are classic five-star hotels, but even they don't have such outstanding interior design and arcade machines. 😊 And if you were born in the 1980s, you absolutely have to stay at this hotel to play the games of your childhood on a real arcade machine right in your room. 😊

We were dubious about booking this room for our 4 night stay as a foreign family in Qingdao but to our surprise it was quite pleasant. We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment instead of 2 bedroom, which wasn't necessary and it was unused but the sentiment was appreciated.
The two bedrooms are just as pictured -very comfortable - absolutely perfect.
The kitchen countertop is high so tall people like us felt comfortable using it. The fridge and washing machine were useful to have. The unit has 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet at the entrance (convenient for guests visiting).
The views are great from the living room and main bedroom.
🚨The ONLY NEGATIVE was that the living room was NOT COMFORTABLE at all😱😖 and this was a huge problem for us, as 3 larger westerners - the sofa is extremely hard, narrow bum area, and 90° angle back, making it super uncomfortable to sit ! ☹️ I'd urge management to rectify this immediately! There was also not enough seating so we had to move the chair from the bedroom to the living room.
We would have extended our stay by two or three extra days if the sofa was comfortable!
We would have given 5 stars instead of 3 if the living room was comfortable for sitting and enjoying the view all day which is WHY we booked this place for my elderly parents and brother.
If you have a TV box and cables I recommended you bring it with if you want to watch English TV (using a vpn of course) which we did (remember all cords and remote).
The staff came daily to clean -they were so friendly and just amazing!
By the way we did ask if we could change to a room with a more comfortable sofa, but they said all of their rooms have the same uncomfortable grey sofa 😖😵🫤 super disappointing.
all that being said - the value for the view, service, cleanliness and location -it's extremely good!
Thanks Haiyi!
We will come again ONLY if you change the sofas!

The Yantai Marriott Hotel boasts stunning, first-line sea views and a superb environment. The lobby is spacious and airy, and the rooms are expansive with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking Golden Beach. The private garden offers direct access to the sea, creating a tranquil and rejuvenating atmosphere. Kevin and Rose provide excellent, family-friendly service online. The hotel is incredibly convenient for families with kids, offering a fully equipped children's play area, swimming pool, and even sand-digging tools. They also provide children's amenities. You can head straight down to the beach for tide pooling and sand play, making it a hassle-free, one-stop destination for entertaining your little ones.

I absolutely have to give the Weihai Jinshatan Xuefu Hotel a five-star rating! My stay here far exceeded my expectations, with pleasant surprises from booking all the way to checkout.
The location is simply unbeatable. The hotel is right next to Weihai International Bathing Beach, and it's a mere 3-minute walk to Jinshatan. You truly get 'ocean views from your window, and waves at your doorstep.' It's also conveniently close to Shandong University (Weihai Campus), creating a wonderful cultural atmosphere that perfectly blends seaside romance with academic tranquility.
The room experience was flawless. We stayed in a high-floor sea-view king room, and the unobstructed 180-degree ocean view was breathtaking. We could watch the sunrise from bed in the morning and enjoy stunning ocean sunsets from our room in the evening. The room itself was modern and minimalist, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had a great dry/wet separation, excellent water pressure, and hot water came on instantly.
Service was attentive and thoughtful. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. The hotel even provided us with a tide schedule, which was incredibly useful for anyone planning to collect seashells or seafood. Housekeeping was quick to respond, and on a rainy day, they thoughtfully brought us ginger tea, which was a very warm touch.
The value for money is outstanding. The sea-view room cost about half the price of surrounding five-star hotels, and they offer complimentary parking, charging stations, a laundry room, and a dryer. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice. I've already saved it and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Weihai!

The location is absolutely unbeatable! You can have fun right outside the door, and it's just a short walk to the sea. You can even see the sea from the elevator. The room was comfortable, and it even snowed that day, so we got to play in the snow right outside for ages. The geographical location is superb, and we had a very comfortable stay. The location is just to the left of picture five. Honestly, the location is the best part! It's fantastic!

Beer Time Hotel in the off-season? What an amazing value, seriously! The super long beach and coastline were practically deserted. The highlight, of course, was the unlimited beer – I was drinking from the moment I woke up! 😋 The quality of the toiletries, razor, and hand-crank coffee maker in the room were all top-notch. Everyone, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, was incredibly warm and attentive. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance. And the bartender? Super charming and personable! 👍

The hotel service was good. The day before, due to a meeting, I missed a call from the hotel regarding my check-in preferences. During check-in, the front desk staff helped store the sauces and steamed buns I brought from Qingdao. They arranged our two rooms on the 12th and 13th floors, close to each other, and activated elevator access for both room cards. The hotel has an underground parking lot, which was great because even though it snowed on the 7th, I didn't have to clear snow from the car. On the way back to the hotel from Yangma Island with my friend, we saw many 'Love Together Route 17' buses – Yantai is incredibly romantic!
This was the last stop of my younger brother's study tour from 'Beijing-Qingdao-Hangzhou-Nanjing-Qingdao-Yantai-Qingdao-Yinchuan.' I really liked Yantai and hope to visit again.
The Yumancang restaurant behind the hotel is also fantastic, truly representing Yantai and welcoming the world.

To fulfill my child's wish of seeing the sea in winter, I specifically booked the Sheraton Golden Beach, where we had stayed before. I must commend Ricardo Li at the front desk for his exceptional service [strong emoji]! He proactively contacted me to confirm our check-in details and even provided a complimentary room upgrade. Upon arrival, there was a minor issue with the room, but it was promptly resolved and swapped, very efficient and considerate! Mr. Zhang, the duty manager at the front desk, was also very thoughtful. He helped us with a late check-out and even gave us a small gift, truly going above and beyond! The service was definitely five-star!

This was our second stay at the Hyatt, and the kids absolutely loved it! They had a blast playing indoors, and it was great that they could dig in the sand right outside. The indoor pool has a small hot spring area that wasn't crowded, perfect for toddlers to splash around in. Breakfast has improved a lot, with a wide variety of options. We also had a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner at the '88' restaurant; the food was delicious.

XXiaowanzidexiaotaoziFirst of all, the service is really good. The uncle outside the door is very enthusiastic to help direct the parking space. The doorman Xiao Gao took the initiative to accompany the luggage to the room. The front desk smiled and had a very good service attitude. Seeing that there were children with children, they helped to apply for an extra breakfast, and took the initiative to send a set of toiletries and slippers 🩴. In the evening, they also sent an extra quilt. Fruits, water, and yogurt were constantly delivered. When I left, they also sent a special one for the road. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Although there are many guests, the breakfast is updated quickly, and the guests are also sent to wait for meals. In short, although it is an old hotel with some old facilities and some parts are not very easy to use, it wins in service and has a good location. Basically, you can go shopping (Zhenhua, Joy City, Wanda are all nearby) and go to the main street attractions by walking. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to take a taxi for a slightly farther distance. There is a bus at the door 🚌, which is very convenient. Liu Yunxia, Xiao Du, Xiao Zhang, the service is very good👍

Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience .
The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 .
🌞 What stood out:
• Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept .
• The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches .
• The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day ().
💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10
• Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay.
📍 Location: 8.9/10
• Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving.
🤝 Service: 8.9/10
• Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless.
🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10
• Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool .
⸻
✅ Quick tips:
• Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅.
• It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre.
• No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉.
• No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖.
⸻
Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

Jjoejoe_lohHere's what I loved most: the price, location, view, and gym.
**Price:** For those looking for the best of both worlds, traveling during the off-season is definitely the way to go. Fewer crowds, significantly lower hotel prices, and naturally, more patient and attentive service.
**Location:** Couldn't be better! I walked straight from the Third Bathing Beach all the way through the entire Badaguan scenic area. It's right next to all sorts of malls, and if you venture a bit further in, there's a residential area where you can experience local daily life.
**View:** The moment I opened the door, I was absolutely spoiled by the panoramic sea view!
**Gym:** It's absolutely top-notch! They have every piece of equipment you could ask for, and it's spacious and clean. I'd go so far as to say this is almost certainly one of the best-equipped hotel gyms out there.
Big thanks also to Andy and Didi, among others, for their help during my stay. Room service was prompt, and they were quick and effective in resolving any issues.

8852 Serendipitous LifeOverall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained.
To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language.
The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads.
There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you.
Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute
The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year.
For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

TTianjinwolongxianshengThis hotel boasts a central location with excellent transportation links – the subway and bus stops are right downstairs. The staff are warm and friendly. While the hotel has a classic, older feel, it's very well-maintained. The rooms are great, and the winter pricing was a real bargain. The housekeeping staff are also very diligent. SSunnyAmyMy child was participating in a music festival here, and we came along to watch the performances. This hotel was the closest option. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from here to Golden Beach and the Phoenix Grand Theatre across the way, by cutting through the back exit and following the signs. It's quite a distance from the city center; it took us an hour to drive from the airport. Today, we took the Jiaozhou Bay Tunnel on our way out, which was significantly faster than the other free road. The hotel is a bit old; the showerhead was quite dated, and the water pressure wasn't great. However, I liked that the toilet and shower were separate. The front desk even upgraded my room to the 11th floor, which I appreciate. We ordered a few dishes at the 2nd-floor Chinese restaurant on our first day. The staff were very friendly, but the food was incredibly salty.

YYouki01Our stay was excellent and truly exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and parking was incredibly convenient. A special mention goes to Elaine for her wonderfully enthusiastic and top-notch service – highly recommended! We also caught the circus performance, which was great. The hotel itself is quite large; despite being an older property, it's clear the original decor was impressive and it has been diligently maintained. You can walk from the hotel's backyard directly to the beach, and our room balcony even offered lovely sea views, perfect for watching the sunrise.
However, there were a few areas for improvement. The breakfast restaurant felt excessively large, and its various sections weren't clearly signposted, leading to a lot of wandering around. Moreover, the trolleys used for clearing tables often obstructed the aisles, which negatively impacted the dining experience. Additionally, the beverage selection was quite limited, and to our surprise, there was no coffee machine – something quite unexpected and frankly below the standards one anticipates from a Crowne Plaza. I'd strongly suggest adding at least two fresh coffee machines, perhaps one near the bread station and another by the drink counter. This small investment would significantly enhance the guest experience without a high cost.
On a positive note, the small restaurant next to the circus had absolutely delicious and affordable food. It's definitely worth a visit after the show!

GGuest UserThis hotel has my favorite coffee, and it's a great sea-view hotel with excellent facilities. They also serve my favorite breakfast, which is delicious! The staff are very friendly and everything here is super clean. Compared to nearby hotels like Shangri-La and Haitian Hotel, which start at 1000 yuan, this place is significantly cheaper, and they even offer 20% off. You're also very close to the square, and just a few steps away from the beach, where there's plenty to do. The towels here are individually wrapped, which is better and cleaner than other hotels. What's advertised on the elevator is exactly what you get – the cleaning staff don't mix up their rags when cleaning. Plus, it's quite close to popular influencer spots.
