Hotel seems to be nice , the food was ok you could always find something so you didn’t end up hungry
Service not great very slow , I was asking twice for the coffee while having a breakfast and I never got one
I was very disappointed as we looked forward for a daily activities like Spanish lesson , bingo etc..and there was not entertainment at all
I have even taken the photos of daily program to know what’s meant to be on and when I asked the animator why there is none of those happening they just looked at me and smiled
Very disappointing
Overall it was a good stay , lovely beach, lovely coffee bar
Excellent hotel for the conditions of the beautiful country of Cuba, good facilities, excellent service from the people who run the bars and buffet, but above all the entertainment team, which makes it a very entertaining stay. This time they surprised me with the beach party, which was an excellent time. I have been 6 times and always to the same Arenas Blancas hotel
The room facilities are old and the sanitary conditions are average, which is equivalent to the domestic 2 to 3 star standard, to be exact 2.5 stars. The publicity photos are lowered by one brightness to show the real situation.
Advantages: All meals are included and the taste is not bad. I stayed for 7 days, and compared with the food in Cuba, it is not bad. Of course, the best thing is definitely the unbeatable sea view, which is indeed unbeatable
A good, solid chain hotel, with good food and an excellent beach. I booked and received a bungalow - spacious and cozy, with a terrace and in a picturesque corner of the hotel complex. I don’t give the highest ratings due to the fact that everything is a little worn out, and there are problems with the operation of the equipment in the room; not everything worked perfectly and correctly (hair dryer, air conditioning control panel and a couple of light bulbs were not on). But overall, a very solid four!
The facility itself is a bit outdated, but everyone is satisfied except for the advantages! All the staff are friendly and the swimming pool and private beach are very good. Food tastes edible rather than delicious. I am satisfied with the price range :)
Diarrhea + bed bug bites = highly not recommended! ! !
Remember to bring insect repellent spray, as there is still a risk of dengue fever if bitten by local black mosquitoes! !
The hotel socket is European standard 220V, but a converter is required!
The tour guide only recommends the Meliá Group because it is the only one managed by foreign investors!
According to local standards in Cuba, the IBEROSTAR hotel is considered the best in VARADERO. The Google rating of 4.7 is also very good, but personal experience: 1️⃣The best is the beach (fine sand, warm and clear sea water) 2️⃣No service provided Tips are also considered appropriate (tips are even better) 3️⃣ Also, the hotel is small and has three floors. The overall environment is quiet and green (so the second picture is a sea view room on the second floor. In fact, there is no sea view unless it is on the third floor)
But none of this can change the problems of hotel towels and bedsheets being worn, cold snack fruits deteriorating, and bedbug bites! If you like Meimeibu Hotel, don’t come here. If you really want to come, I suggest staying for 2/3 nights is enough.
The room is big and clean. Three meals a day. The service staff is very friendly. There are various small performances. The room is well air-conditioned. Drinks are available all the time. The beach is very good. The sea water is very warm. Whether it is morning or afternoon, the sea water is not cold at all.
The facilities were good enough for what you pay. I should not complain about the food since given the circumstances they did their best to keep us fed at all times. In fact, they offered a large variety of meat and veggies, desserts, etc.
On the other hand, for heavy drinkers, this place should be an oasis since you can have access to all the alcohol you want at all times. My husband certainly loved that fact.
Regarding the entertainment, the first night with dance performers was good, however, the second one with singers was not. I think they should work harder on this issue. If you want a get away from Havana, this is definetely the place to stay.
A very relaxing, enjoyable spot for honey mooners or loners who simply want to have time on their own.
It is impossible to find beach towels. Due to the low flow of water, the toilet bowl was filling in 1 hour. The food was good. Especially in the à la carte restaurant. The staff were very pleasant. They helped in times of need. The hotel location is a half hour walk from the center. Thanks for everything.
