Beach Hotels in Chon Buri Province, Thailand

We stayed at this hotel for five days in September. We booked a more expensive superior room and requested a king-size bed for adult comfort, which we also specifically emailed about. Our request was fulfilled, and they even provided an extra bed for a third person free of charge! As a complimentary gesture, they allowed us to check out at 2 PM instead of 12 PM. For customer orientation, it's a solid 100/10! The room was good, located in the old building, with a view of other hotels. There was construction, but we didn't hear any noise from it. The room had a kitchen, a large fridge, and a microwave, plus pool towels and bathrobes. The food was excellent, with a very wide selection of dishes that changed daily! The only minor thing was a lack of sweet options; only pancakes were available every day. For fruits, there was watermelon, pineapple, and papaya. As for downsides, I'd note the weak Wi-Fi, which constantly disconnected, especially around the pool/restaurant area where we had breakfast. The biggest drawback, though not the hotel's fault, was the dirty beach and sea! We're not particularly picky and always swim in Pattaya, but here it was just disgusting. Perhaps it was the off-season... Only once, at 8 AM, was it pleasant to swim. The rest of the time, all sorts of things were floating in the sea and on the beach, even when we walked left towards the night market and right towards Dongtan beach. The largest fruit market is a 25-minute walk away, and the night market is 15 minutes. There are currency exchange offices, massage parlors, and cafes nearby. Overall, it's a solid hotel with a pool, and the street is quite quiet.

I didn't have high expectations for a hotel priced at around 200 baht, as I was planning a trip to Koh Larn and just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. However, I was incredibly satisfied! It offered excellent value for money! The room decor was a bit older and darker (I could only book a twin room on the 3rd floor at the time; other room types might be brighter). But, it was cleaned neatly and tidily every day, and a special shout-out to the male attendant on the 3rd floor, room 8. He was always enthusiastic, proactive in offering help, and very meticulous with the cleaning. The lady at the front desk for breakfast was also very friendly, and there was a good variety of breakfast options. For this price, it was truly unexpected. The pools were large and plentiful, the beach was right outside, there's a 7-Eleven nearby, and Jomtien Night Market is just a few minutes' walk away. The atmosphere along the beach road outside was also great!

5-Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure guests were comfortable. The location was excellent, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, a fantastic location, and a great breakfast made for an excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Our recent stay at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya was fantastic, and the connecting rooms were perfect for friends traveling together! One room had twin beds (1.5m), and the other a king-size bed (2m). With both rooms connected, there was plenty of space, allowing us to stay together while still having our own private areas. It's definitely the top choice for group trips and gatherings. The hotel's water park is truly a highlight, with slides and play areas for everyone. You can have a blast splashing around right at the hotel, spending an entire day without even leaving the premises. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the food was delicious. The most pleasant surprise was the freshly made Thai milk tea – authentic and incredibly tasty. The hotel also offered a durian fruit mountain; you just had to ask a staff member to get some. The fruit was fresh, making the experience even better. The overall environment was comfortable, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend it for friends traveling together or family vacations. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Pattaya!

Great location and reasonable price! It's right by the seafront, which makes it easy to get around. Plus, it's super convenient to catch the coastal songthaew. The room is spacious, and the AC works wonderfully, keeping it nice and cool. If you're a light sleeper, the music from the nearby entertainment area might bother you, but then again, isn't that part of the Pattaya experience? You probably have to consider both the hotel's location and Pattaya's overall vibe. As a heavy sleeper myself, I slept like a baby! They take a 1000 baht cash deposit which is returned upon check-out. There are 7-Elevens everywhere – front, side, and back – making it easy to grab anything you need. Thanks to this place, I had a fantastic time in Pattaya. I'll definitely be back! 🤗

The hotel is very conveniently located near Terminal 21. The grounds are well-maintained, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are very spacious, with only minor imperfections, and the linens are spotless. Breakfast deserves its own special mention: there's something for everyone. Cheese, cold cuts, three types of yogurt, various nuts, pastries, flatbreads, cakes, chips, rolls, fruits, ice cream, meat... the list goes on. There are pools of different depths, including a slide. The sea view is lovely. There are plenty of sun loungers for everyone, a gym, and a kids' club. There's also a club card available, but we didn't purchase it. We received a complimentary room upgrade to the 8th floor, which had a sea view, a very large room, and a sofa. The balcony even had two sun loungers, a table, and a shower.

The room was fantastic, right opposite the sea, and very affordable. The pool was also beautiful, and breakfast was decent. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning was a bit loud at night, but I was so tired each day that I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. The beach across from the hotel was perfect for a relaxing evening stroll.

A beautiful, modern hotel where we only found positives. Daily wet cleaning of the rooms with towel changes, very thorough cleaning, which is important for us. The room is modern, spacious, cozy, the plumbing is good and clearly maintained, everything works. Excellent air conditioning system and a spacious balcony. On the 4th floor of the hotel there is a pool area: also very spacious, the pool is moderately deep, large and clean, with sun loungers and a bar nearby; there is a separate cool play area for children (even we adults found it interesting and fun to be there) 😁 The reception is open 24/7, the staff speaks good English, and it's also a nice touch that a separate employee greets you and escorts you to a taxi with your luggage. A huge selection of dishes for breakfast - everything is very tasty and varied. Everything you need is near the hotel: Jomtien Beach itself, many massage parlors, cafes, a 24-hour laundry, and a small market and exchange office within a 10-minute walk.

📍Pattaya Modus Beachfront Resort This trip, we chose to stay in a King Deluxe Ocean View room, including breakfast. Booking through Trip.com gave us the best price. I was impressed with everything at Pattaya Modus Beachfront Resort. The room matched the photos perfectly, the ambiance was great, the room was beautiful, clean, and luxurious, with a bathtub and complete amenities. The ocean view balcony was very spacious! I absolutely loved the sea view and the beautiful room. The common areas include a swimming pool, a swim-up cocktail bar, and a private beach area for safe swimming in the sea, with lifeguards on duty constantly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices at the restaurant on the 3rd floor. I'm so glad we chose to stay here! I highly recommend this hotel as my go-to whenever I visit Pattaya. I'm truly proud to suggest it!

The hotel has a great atmosphere; the room was entirely wood-paneled and spotlessly clean – excellent! The mattress was firm. Breakfast was a bit monotonous, and often there weren't enough cups for tea and cappuccino, but everything tasted good. The pool area is lush with greenery, and every day we'd find staff scooping out leaves and cleaning it, though it's impossible to get every single one. I especially want to point out the hotel's policy that you can't bring your own drinks to the pool; you have to order from their bar, which is, of course, more expensive than a store. Staff walk around and tell you off if they see you with your own drinks. However, guests on the ground floor with direct pool access are allowed to, on the basis that they are 'on their own balcony.' Sun loungers aren't reserved for them, though, and you still can't have your own drinks or food on a sun lounger. They also add a service charge for pool service, just so you know (I don't think it was mentioned on the menu). When checking out, they tried to charge us for a Coke from the mini-bar that we hadn't touched. After a couple more checks, the Coke was found without much trouble. Overall, the stay was pleasant. I forgot to mention the sea: it's literally a minute across the road. But swimming there was impossible; it was incredibly, incredibly dirty. I've never seen such filth, there was even a dead fish floating around. And the sand was incredibly prickly; even a single grain in your shoe would make you suffer! 😄
