Beach Hotels in Hawaii, United States

This hotel is definitely good in Hilo, Big Island, with beautiful scenery and a free botanical garden next to it where you can see the Hawaiian state bird, the nēnē goose. It is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The interior decoration of the room is relatively ordinary, with large white walls. There is only a small outdoor swimming pool. The sea view room I booked does face the sea with all windows. It is very beautiful when I open the curtains in the morning. There is another thunder point. This hotel does not clean the room by default for consecutive stays. You need to make an appointment for cleaning in advance or tell them that you need to clean every day when you check in. Otherwise, their room service will not enter the room! The breakfast I booked on Ctrip included three breakfasts, but in fact, their hotel can only book two by default. When I got there, I contacted Ctrip again, and Ctrip refunded me the breakfast fee for one person. Later, when I checked out, I asked the front desk to print out the bill to figure out how they calculated the breakfast. Here I will also introduce it to you: the hotel breakfast is priced at 25 yuan per person. It is not a buffet but a meal. After ordering, it will be posted to the room bill and charged according to the actual fee. But when I checked out, the front desk didn't mention the breakfast bill, and directly calculated the total bill. I found that the settlement email sent to me was the total bill including breakfast. I went back to the front desk and reminded her that I had booked a breakfast-included package. She said, ”Oh, sorry to check it.” Then she said she would refund 25 yuan/day/person (50 yuan/day) to my card. If I hadn't checked it, I would have charged it again without knowing it. So it is recommended that you don't include breakfast in this hotel. The quality of their a la carte breakfast is still good, and you can go to the restaurant to order it directly. In addition, the beverage coupons given in the lobby bar can be used in the lobby bar, but I didn't find out until the last day that it can also be used in the breakfast room. One coupon can be exchanged for a glass of juice or soft drink. Then the hotel also has free hot coffee and hot tea, but it is hidden next to the restaurant. You have to ask to understand. There are also two large cookies given when you check in, and you can ask her for them at any time. The front desk will be happy to give you two. The third hotel in Hawaii was the Marriott at Wailea Beach. I planned to spend my 30th anniversary at the Marriott. I applied for the hotel's benefits and received 2 bottles of sparkling wine and chocolates. The hotel is very beautiful, right by the coastline. I booked three nights and stayed in the hotel. I walked along the beach in the morning, swam and snorkeled in the sea to see fish during the day, and watched the sunset by the pool in the evening. It was very convenient to buy food at the ISLAND GOURMET MARKETS supermarket in the hotel. Parking was expensive, $43.98/day plus tax.

We had such a great time couple days the winds were high, but we didn’t let that spoil our vacation. The sun was out that’s the most important thing in the temperature was in the 70s and 80s and so perfect for people from Seattle Washington rainbows you know it’s a tropical area so the rainbows appear in the sky just so beautiful fireworks on Friday night was outstanding. Looks like all of Waikiki came to look And we stayed in the Tapa building and ocean view just outstanding. The restaurants to Bali was fabulous. The restaurants are on the street level was fantastic and we walked around the city and experience various type of cuisine. This is an outstanding vacation seven days and my wife and I are so glad that we have mobility and at our age so we could really enjoy the beach. Enjoy the catamaran enjoy just walking around the city shopping and so just outstanding. We look forward to another vacation like that. 

The hotel is nice, but it's too noisy. You're forced to get up at 8am, and then you hear the kids crying and the renovations going on outside. You don't feel like you're on vacation, but like a husband in his 40s with three kids, trying his best to stop the kids from making noises while you hear the renovations. At this point, you feel like a failure. If you have money, you'll stay in a better hotel. Also, services? You don't need any services at all. You're just going to sleep.

The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.

We had a brief but really fun stay here at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest staff member, Megumi. She heard that it was our dream one day to stay here and for our 16th anniversary we made it happen, and she surprised us with Leis! It was incredible. The staff here are attentive and kind and so welcoming! Michael with Maui Gold pineapples made sure to tell us all about the resident HUGE fish in the Koi pond, a cousin to the piranha, whose name is “Mitch”. The kids loved the fun facts he shared, as well as offering us some of his delicious Maui Gold Pineapple and some chocolate buckeyes he generously shared with us. The lobby had our complimentary coffee for guests from 6-9am, and a fun flamingo (yes, there are FLAMINGOS!) and koi feeding at 9am. Upon arrival we were also given two complimentary tickets to grab a cocktail or mocktail at their poolside bar. There were other complimentary offerings as well that we did not take advantage of. The kids spent most of their time on the waterslides. Poolside seating can be difficult to find if you arrive later than 10am, but if you’re patient and keep an eye out, a space usually opens up. The location can’t be beat as it’s directly next door to Whalers, which has great shopping and restaurants that are beachfront. Awesome snorkeling at Black Rock is a short 5-7 min beach walk from the hotel. We were really happy with our stay! Our room faced the mountains and we had a gorgeous view of the sunrise. There are private adult only hot tubs (one infinity sand bottom!) and pools as well. Water bottle filling stations are found on the lobby floor. Excellent choice for families. $35 self park fee or $45 valet.

The hotel has complete facilities and the rooms are clean and tidy. Dadao hotels are very stable and good. The breakfast is also good. The hotel is very new. There is everything around and the price is high. Will stay here next time.

This is a deluxe ocean view room for two nights on December 27 and 28. The average room per night is more than 8,500 yuan. :( Very speechless 😓 The hotel explained that standing on the balcony overlooking the sea can see the sea, really, we have to lift our toes.

Next to the beach, there is a breakwater for playing in the sea. The location is very convenient. There is a hot spring pool in the swimming pool, which can be used as a hot spring by the elderly. There is also a free laundry room. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old, the windows cannot be opened, and the fresh air blower and air conditioner are very loud. They must be turned off at night, otherwise it feels like sleeping on an airplane.

The room facilities and scenery can be said to be top-notch in Hawaii, but the hotel service is incredibly bad. The front desk staff was arrogant and rude (I don't know if it was racial discrimination). They did not inform me of the credit card authorization when I checked in, and charged 2 authorizations of 400 and 700 US dollars. The money has not been recovered yet. When I checked out, I needed a shuttle bus to go to the villa to pick up my luggage. I called for 25 minutes but no one answered. Later, I called the room service staff to call the shuttle bus. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel. The service staff in the light meal restaurant is relatively friendly, while the service staff in the formal restaurant is very rude. You have to pour water/wine by yourself. After the appetizers, the champagne was not served. I suggest that babies who can't stand being bullied should not go there, because they will really be bullied by the staff inside. Also, the snacks in the room minibar are expired.
