"This has been my go-to hotel in Hong Kong for years. It's located inside The Mira Place shopping mall on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, less than a 10-minute walk to Harbour City, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden, but as soon as you approach, someone will open the door for you. Even at 3 PM, you might not get a clean room right away, which shows how popular it is. The only thing missing is a bit of warmth in the service. The rooms come with complimentary bottled water, though they're a bit stingy with tissues. Aside from the pillows being just okay, everything else is quite comfortable. If you're an early riser, you can head down to B3 for the gym and pool. The facilities are very well-maintained."

"This hotel, with its 852 rooms, certainly doesn't lack individual travelers from Ctrip! Indeed, it hosts many tour groups! Over 8000 reviews attest to guests' fondness for this hotel! However, a look at the negative reviews is quite telling! A 4.1 rating is considered high for a hotel in Hong Kong... One particularly memorable 1.5-star review mentioned a smoke smell in the room! After seeing a fan meet-up, I temporarily chose this hotel (mentally prepared). Upon arrival, it was nearly midnight. The front desk staff immediately asked for 'ID' without any greeting or polite language. She was very terse with her words. I could tell she was tired and eager to finish her shift by midnight... We were also very tired! Sticking to the principle of avoiding trouble when possible, I *did not* file a complaint. After showering, I discovered black marks on the bedsheets... The hotel sent a housekeeper to check. At that moment, I asked to speak with the duty manager! During the conversation, the person surprisingly said, 'The manager won't come to the room, the manager is very busy, and requesting a room change (without asking for an upgrade) is impossible today because the hotel is full. We can only change the sheets and duvet covers. And even if the manager came, she would be the one changing the sheets!' She also confirmed that the person who called the room was just the front desk staff, not the manager! That feeling of being coerced was truly speechless! It felt like a common occurrence! You shouldn't put bedsheets with obvious black stains on the bed when making it up (she then said that when housekeeping is busy, they can't pay attention). She also claimed their laundry facility is a major one... A major facility produces these results?? Previous comments in the review section mentioned 'bedding looking unwashed...' It seems this isn't an isolated incident, and this issue is a recurring one! As everyone knows, after housekeeping completes their work, the housekeeping department has a review process and even spot checks! We guests understand and appreciate the busyness and hard work of your housekeeping staff! But have you ever considered how a guest feels when they pull back the bedding to reveal glaring black marks on pristine white sheets? 💢💢💢 You are also an excellent and experienced hotel professional (evident from your professional bed-making skills). At that moment, I truly wanted to contact Ctrip concierge to cancel and switch hotels... If it weren't for a certain other hotel being closed for renovation... I wouldn't have bothered coming all the way to this hotel at this late hour to endure such frustration! Just then, the night duty manager of the hotel arrived in the room... He said a room was already prepared (actually, we no longer wanted to move). He then insisted we go check out the room, and his attitude was incredibly sincere! What was completely unexpected was — the new room was a sea-view room! I never thought the duty manager's solution would be an upgrade (I wonder if he was the same thin, arrogant man in a suit uniform mentioned by the guest who complained about the smoke smell). I also informed the manager about the check-in situation (*without filing a formal complaint*). The manager didn't side with the hotel staff but also skillfully upheld the hotel's image, saying he would verify... Anyway, there are surveillance cameras. Guests have no need to flatter or disparage; we are all just passing through, minding our own business, and simply reporting the facts... I'm writing this honest review for everyone's reference. My experience during this stay showed that the night duty manager at this hotel is very professional in his work! His words were very appropriate! His attitude was very sincere! He effectively maintained the hotel's image and reputation! He was a young, slender man in a short-sleeved shirt uniform, wearing glasses! The hotel's sea view is indeed good... Different from the Peninsula's direct Victoria Harbour view... Changing positions to see Victoria Harbour also offers a unique scenic beauty! The room facilities are very new (the green plastic chairs are a bit crude, though) and there were no issues of outdated or aging facilities as rumored! The room decor is simple and stylish! The room size at 18 square meters is indeed much larger than comparable 4-star hotels in Yau Tsim Mong which are typically 13 square meters! If you're looking for an affordable stay near Kwun Tong, the value for money is quite good! Of course, on the day of my stay, I also saw prices like 1300 as mentioned in previous reviews! This hotel's sea view and hardware are both good! As for the service, that depends on who you encounter... Checking into a hotel is always like opening a blind box! The hotel's night duty manager perfectly resolved the issue! I also did not take the compensation offered by Ctrip! Ctrip has always been very useful! Ctrip concierge has also always provided excellent service! Thank you, Ctrip, for providing this platform for guests to honestly share their real experiences! 'There's no such thing as pure gold; no one is perfect.' A hotel that addresses problems without shirking responsibility is a good hotel in the eyes of guests. The hotel's night duty manager deserves a 5.0-star rating! Before I left the room that night, he repeatedly said to call him if I had any issues... I would like to express my gratitude to the night duty manager for his coordination that night! It was almost 1 AM, so I didn't get a chance to say 'Ng goi saai' (thank you very much) to him! He would be off work in the morning, and I would check out at noon, so I wouldn't see him again... I look forward to meeting him next time!!"

"The room exceeded my expectations; it's rare to find such great value for money in Hong Kong. The hotel is located inside a mall, making shopping and dining very convenient. During peak check-in times, you might have to queue at the front desk, and the efficiency is a bit slower compared to mainland China. The self-service breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, mainly Hong Kong-style. Overall, I highly recommend it! My only minor complaint is regarding the bedding hygiene; perhaps because we have sensitive skin, we felt a bit itchy while sleeping, so I'm questioning the cleanliness of the linens. BTW, the gym facilities are limited, with only one power rack. The outdoor pool is on the 21st floor, and it can get quite sunny when the weather is good."

"I've stayed at this hotel several times. Whenever I came to Hong Kong for business trips before, I always stayed at this one on Hong Kong Island. The hotel's transportation is very convenient; there's a bus stop downstairs, and it's just a 100-meter walk across the pedestrian bridge from Exit C of the Quarry Bay MTR station. It's only one stop away from Taikoo Shing Cityplaza. Although I experienced a typhoon, I slept soundly in the hotel room. Downstairs is Yat Lung Heen, and both the dim sum/dining service and the taste are excellent. The staff are all very warm and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! 💁‍♀️"

I've stayed here many times, and I'm always very satisfied. The location is great, the front desk staff speak fluent Mandarin, and the service is excellent. Although the policy states that disposable toiletries are not provided, you can pick them up at the front desk upon check-in. It's incredibly good value for money! Highly recommended!
