Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

We spent out last night of our trip at Kempinski Taiyuan, and it did not disappoint. The receptionist upgraded up to a room on a high floor with a view of the city. They also gave us fresh fruits and free minibar. They had everything you would expect of a five star hotel, and the location is in a bustling part of the city. Would definitely come back.

If I were to rate the room alone, this guesthouse exceeded my expectations. Even though I booked a special offer room in the basement, there were absolutely no issues with ventilation or natural light. On the contrary, on a warm winter day, bathed in the soft glow of the lights, it felt like my own cozy little haven. If I visit again, I'd still choose this place. (The lady at the front desk was beautiful and kind-hearted, always willing to help and answered every question with a smile, which truly warmed my heart.) Now for the downsides: breakfast was served about a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse, which isn't a huge deal. However, the breakfast service was a world apart from the guesthouse's excellent service. The staff didn't even lift their heads when we entered or left, completely engrossed in their TV show. And they didn't provide Wi-Fi, which I consider a very basic service, right? Also, could you please avoid serving rotten fruit to guests? The breakfast quality was more about presentation than substance; it looked good for photos, but the taste left much to be desired.

This hotel is a courtyard-style hotel, and the room is as pictured. The room was fully equipped with a minibar and was very comfortable, perfectly worth the location and price. It's even better off during the off-season! 🤣 The fan was a little awkward, located directly above the bed (perhaps it was unique to our room), making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep with. The service was excellent. The front desk lady, Keke, was very attentive. If we were out for a long time that day, she would notice and ask if we wanted a foot bath. She also recommended the delicious jelly we had at the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. It was truly delicious! Even better than Shunyi! In the evening, it was so relaxing to sit in the rocking chair in the courtyard, listen to some music, and have a drink.

This is a great hotel! The rooms are very spacious, bright, and well-lit, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The front desk service was excellent; Duty Manager Yoyo was particularly warm and attentive, ensuring all our needs were promptly met, which was truly heartwarming. There's free parking available, and the location is very convenient – a direct passage on the first floor leads straight to the shopping mall, which was super handy. Highly recommend it! The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of healthy and delicious options. The Chaoshan cuisine at the Chinese restaurant on the 5th floor was incredibly authentic; my husband even said it tasted just like his mom's cooking! The restaurant staff were also very welcoming and enthusiastic. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Taiyuan.

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean, spacious and had a spectacular view from the 9th floor. Reception was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was not bad, although it ends relatively early at 0930H. I would consider staying here again.

A very cosy homestay in the heart of the very charming Datong old town. There's underground parking that goes straight to the doorstep of the B&B which is a lifesaver during winter. Absolutely loved the tasteful design and the little artistic trinkets placed all around the house. There's also a free laundry service which was very much appreciated. Master of the house is a very friendly gentleman who gave us great tips especially on the hidden gems restaurants (ask him about the awesome copper hotpot outside the city beside President Hotel). It's walking distance to the food and nightspot street across the road, and is also beside the Southern City Wall as well as the (in my opinion criminally underrated) Shanhua Temple 善化寺 which is quiet, dignified and zen, housing some of the oldest Liao and Jin Dynasty architecture and sculptures.

I specially booked a small courtyard room with private soup. I didn't expect this temporary intention to become the most unexpected success of the journey. As soon as I arrived at the door, I was poked: the blue stone road led to the inside, first around the small pond of the brocade, and the corner also hit the book on the ladder. The moment I opened the small courtyard, I couldn't help but ”wow”: There are a few green bamboos planted in the courtyard. There is a private soup pool in the room with a thick bed of yarn. There is also a small coffee table on the tatami next to it. Just think about sitting here drinking tea after making the soup, I feel comfortable in the bone. The warmer thing is that the waiter at the front desk ﹣﹣ watched me carry my luggage. The little brother immediately greeted me and said before I asked, ”The small courtyard you booked is in the innermost, we will send you there, how to operate from the private soup along the way, do you want to add thickness to the bedding, which sheep soup in the ancient city is the most authentic, The night light is the best photo point, said in detail, more worry-free than doing a strategy. This small world in the ancient city of Zhangzhou, with the elegance and comfort of the pavilions and flowing water, and full of sincere enthusiasm, added a warm ending to this blessing trip. It turns out that sometimes I don't go as planned, but I can meet unexpected beauty!

It started and ended with descending the mountain. The aroma wafted from the entrance, instantly creating a positive impression. The facilities are absolutely top-notch, and the amenities are of very high quality. Turndown service and snacks/fruits were provided every night upon return; I was thoroughly taken care of. Service Team: I believe guests choosing this resort hotel have high expectations. The management team is mature and decisive in handling issues. Breakfast and rooms are good, and the rooms are very clean. I took the time to try the fitness center, which was fantastic. It would be perfect if the shower lighting could be adjusted. The front desk team is relatively young and responsive, handling issues in a standard way, but they need to improve their smart talk skills, as they directly address various guest questions. Other: - Some rooms still had a noticeable smell of paint or renovation (I thought that after years of preparation, this wouldn't be a problem). For those sensitive to odors, it's recommended to communicate this before check-in; - Due to the relatively high price of the lobby bar, it's suggested that some self-service tea and snacks be provided in the public area to add a touch of resort-style social interaction; - The handheld iron in the wardrobe is convenient. The sofa and wooden coffee table next to the bed could perhaps be better arranged. Thanks to the resort hotel for adjusting the check-out time according to our needs, ensuring a worry-free trip. The hotel has a great location, close to the high-speed rail station. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic; they greeted us as soon as we entered and helped us with the elevator. The room was clean, and we got complimentary mini-bar drinks every day. For two evenings, we craved rice, so we dined at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The dishes were reasonably priced, and the rice was delicious. Chef No. 2's 'Guo You Rou' (fried pork in sauce) was exceptionally good, even better than the signature 'Guo You Rou' we had elsewhere in Shanxi later on – the flavor was just perfect. On the second night, Chef No. 3's 'Hui Cai' (stew) was also delicious and came in a large portion. Many thanks to both! If you're coming to Yuncheng, stay at Novotel; it's genuinely excellent. (The hotel doesn't ask guests for good reviews, which is great and shows their confidence in their service.)
