"The hotel is in a good location, but the room smells a bit musty. Rooms that will not be occupied for a long time are reserved for orders from Ctrip. The restaurant is very good, the food and service are good, and the price is very reasonable. It is good to stay here when traveling to Kangaroo Island."

"The hotel is very beautiful, same as the room. However, we run into a few issues. The air conditioning of room 11 is extremely loud. We had to turn it off in order to sleep. Secondly, there is zero hanger in the room. Thirdly and most importantly, there is no staff on site at all. Only a number to call. We needed help at one point and dialed the number, but it didn’t work. We added 0, 08 in the front, and also the number itself. Nothing worked. If these issues were resolved, the hotel would have been perfect."

"The hotel is very dated and my shower floor leaked into the bedroom and made the room smell damp
This let to me having to run a fan all the time to stop the room smelling
Tuti the cleaning lady was very good and always made a refreshing change
They were down to one elevator so it was getting to be a pain to use
No bar for the night time and no hot food for breakfast this lead to eating out everyday
Parking was good and worked well
Case storage is available if you ask the right person I was at first told no but when checking out given the opportunity to do this
Hotel is right on the train station and can be easy access for trips away
Summing up my stay it worked ok bit dated and a leaking shower ment I went out every day and never stayed in
The tv was also not very good channels never worked and stopped and started all the time"

Breakfast is served at an excellent restaurant next door... honestly, everything about this hotel is perfect. "We are a family of 5 and we booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. The hotel did not give us rooms on the same floor. They said they had no idea that we were traveling together as I did not tell them we were traveling together. I answered the reservation of the 3 rooms was made under ONE booking, does it tell you we are traveling together or I was just booking the other 2 rooms for strangers .....The receptionist was speechless then, but nothing she could do as the hotel was fully booked she said.
We showed up after the check in time of 2pm, but one of the rooms was not cleaned up yet and hence not ready, the other room had AC problem and also not ready. We spent 30 minutes in the reception trying to check in....
The room was noisy, after midnight bid noise came from the main door and toilet area basically every hour, waking us up in the middle of the night a few times. First I thought it was someone banging at the door, or a cleaner cleaning in the lift lobby. I opened the door but found nobody. The noise was consistent for the whole 3 nights.
Other than the above, the hotel is well located and the price is reasonable. The staff at the reception are basically nice and helpful."
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is generally nice And the staff members are super friendly. Facility-wise, it is a bit out-dated, but you can see this staff is trying the best to keep it clean. They also have an interesting buffet offering for 20 dollars, i haven't tried it out, but i heard it quite nice.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay inside the property.
However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest.
If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise.
GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change
GGuest UserThe beach environment is still beautiful, perfect for watching the sunset and also great for kids to play. We happened to be there during Chinese New Year, so there were many activities like lion dances and delicious food. There are lots of restaurants nearby and plenty of spots perfect for photos, including a romantic Ferris wheel. However, we paid an extra AUD 40 a night to upgrade to a sea view room, and the air conditioning in the room was terrible. Despite repeated complaints about the AC not working, they wouldn't move us to another room. After one night, it was so hot that we had to ask for a fan. In the end, the front desk offered some compensation before we checked out. They definitely need to improve the customer experience!
FfslimaiBooked this for my relatives. We drove together from Kangaroo Island for more than two hours to get to the hotel. They also thought this hotel was good and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, they only stayed for one night and left early the next morning.
AAmazingraceIt’s in a good location in a one way road. Car difficult to drive in . So not so convenient if you arrange any pickups.
Comes with basic bkfast which is okay but not so fantastic
Room is adequate for couple.
Nice location and walking distance to the public transport and the malls and market
GGuest UserThis is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b
Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre.
Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.
GGuest UserHighly recommend this apartment! The room was clean and tidy with good natural light and ventilation. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient to use. It's easy to find, and the surrounding area is quiet, not noisy. The attention to detail was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
VVentraseeThe best thing thing about this hotel is that it is located in the heart town. It is a walking distance from the Rundle Mall and Adelaide Convention Centre. It also has great spa and decent size pool; breakfast buffet and bar with happy hour daily. I highly recommend this place!.
NNLK90Stayed here over Christmas.
Room had a kitchen - dishwasher, oven + microwave + washer dryer + balcony over looking convention centre.
Lovely stay, comfy bed, quiet'ish - the toilet sounds like a water pump everytime it fills up. Bathroom/shower is a little dated but functional.
Parking is 30$ per day (reasonably priced - unlimited entry during the stay)
Overall a great stay!! Will definitely comeback!!!
