please help me to write a hotel review. The hotel is nice, its have supermarket nearby. But parking also nice just the space a little bit small for you to park your car. but it is very convenient to bring your luggage direct to your room. the room is clean and tidy, just the light is quite dim. and the car from outside the road is quite bising since the room is at the corner near to the vamp. The swimming pool is nice but dont have the children pool. The breakfast is okay and have many delicacies which like malaysia also. Maybe ,next time i will consider to stay here again . thank for the stay.
Here’s a smoother, more natural version of your hotel review:
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket nearby, which made it easy to get anything we needed. The parking is available and convenient, although the spaces are a bit small, so it might be slightly challenging for larger cars. However, I really liked that it was easy to bring luggage directly from the parking area to the room.
The room itself was clean and tidy, which I appreciated. The only downside was that the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel a bit less bright than expected. Also, since our room was located at the corner near the ramp, there was some noise from cars on the road, especially at night.
The swimming pool was nice and well-maintained, but it would be even better if there were a separate pool for children. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of dishes, many of which are similar to Malaysian cuisine, so it felt quite familiar.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality!
Great hotel, close to the mosque and night market. The only downside is that getting to both the mosque and the night market is quite inconvenient as there are no pedestrian crossings, so you have to dash across the roads.
The rooms are modern and packed with electronics.
The hotel staff were incredibly helpful; they'd call taxis for us through the Dart app via WhatsApp whenever we asked.
The room itself was large and clean. There's a really good coffee shop right next to the hotel, and a supermarket nearby as well.
The hotel room (deluxe twin) was very ample and comfortable. It has enough amenities and the housekeeping team is very attentive and taking care of all details.
The receptionist are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeably regarding what to visit and see in Bandar.
The restaurant staff is also super friendly and willing to provide a great service.
The best os thus hotel is indeed most of the staff team who made out stay memorable.
The hotel has, in my opinion, one problem which is the noise. If you are sensitive to noise at night, it will be hard to sleep untless you use ear plugs. The rooms in one size are facing the main road which is noisy at all times and the rooms in the other side are facibg lots of outdoor AC units.
The location is fantastic. Even during Ramadan, they prepared breakfast for us. And not just in the room, but we could eat as much as we wanted at the 7th-floor buffet. Thank you! The room is spacious. There are so many light switches that it's hard to figure out which one controls what. There was a kitchen, but it wasn't usable – no pots, pans, plates, or spoons. There's an electric kettle, two complimentary bottles of water, and a fridge. The staff are very kind. I appreciate having a bathtub, and the hot water works. My biggest complaint is that even with the AC turned off, it was still cold. Maintenance came to the room multiple times, but it remained chilly. The pool is a good size, and there's a gym too. A supermarket is conveniently connected next door, along with cafes. Across the road is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and it seems to be owned by the same group. Postcards can be found at the Ritz-Carlton gift shop. The hotel front desk offered a service where, for $1 per card, they would go to the post office, buy stamps, and mail them for you – very helpful! A ride to the airport was about $10 via a ride-hailing app. The place has a retro vibe. There were koi fish in the lobby. The biggest issue is the no-smoking policy; you can't smoke outside, in your room, or anywhere on the premises. Apparently, this isn't due to Ramadan but is a Brunei rule.
Pros: Great location, low price, free airport shuttle, and a wonderful coffee shop open from 7 AM to 11 PM in the building next door. Cons: The hotel is very old, everything in the room is outdated: the furniture, carpet, sofa, and bathtub. Everything is ancient. The water from the tap is yellow, and there's absolutely no water pressure in the shower.
Early Check In before 12pm, few times stay here but this time doesnt need to put deposit ($200) like before. Staff is a boy (frgt to ask the name) is very friendly. Check in process is easy & fast.
This time no outside parking coz many events in the hotel, so I park my car in the basement which is free parking till I checked out. Just gv the receiption our car plate no.
Satisfied with dis room (529) clean & big room worth the money with free breakfast for 2pax.
Capital Residence Suites, Brunei
I had a generally pleasant stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the place felt quiet and calm, which was nice after a long day out. The bed was comfortable and the room was well maintained.
Breakfast was provided and was simple but sufficient to start the day. Nothing fancy, but acceptable. A good highlight is the free city tour organized by the hotel. During the tour, I managed to visit Energy Hub, Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien, Istana Nurul Iman, Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Gadong Mall, and Masjid Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, which was very convenient for first-time visitors. Also the big plus is free airport pick-up and drop-off (reservation required)
Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it offers decent value for money and is suitable for a short stay, especially if you want an easy way to explore Bandar Seri Begawan.
We enjoyed our one-night stay with my friends. We stayed there for our hiking trip. They granted us a late check-out until 1:00 PM.
Breakfast was alright. I wish they had soup options like corn or mushroom, and more fruit selections—there was only watermelon (not sweet) However, the main courses were delicious.
Wi-Fi on Level 5 was not stable. The swimming pool was closed for some reason. We called the reception 3x, but no one picked up.
Other than that, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it.
To be honest, there were a couple of issues. The air conditioning was too cold, and after opening the window, the bathroom ventilation wasn't great. This led to the ceiling being covered in condensation when I woke up. The hotel definitely has some ventilation problems, as the hot air wasn't being extracted properly. However, apart from that, everything else was good! I was especially happy because the buffet had Ambuyat, a Bruneian staple that I surprisingly couldn't find at the Gadong Night Market, haha!
Conveniently located, there are many restaurants and supermarkets. It can be reached within 5-10 minutes on foot. There is also a sporting goods store next to the hotel and a bakery diagonally in front. There is a pier not far from the hotel, which is convenient for sightseeing. Friendly service staff, helping to solve problems. Breakfast varies slightly every day, and most special foods can be tasted. The hotel also provides travel itineraries for your convenience.

Great
BBingBaiThis five-star hotel feels more like an upscale local resort. Upon check-in, they told us they'd double-upgraded us to the main building, which was great as the pool was just downstairs.
The lobby layout isn't grand, and the overall feel is a bit dated, but I was pleasantly surprised by how new the room facilities were and how impeccably clean everything was. The minibar had 8 different drinks, two of each, all complimentary.
There are three outdoor pools and one indoor pool. None of the pools are particularly large, and the staff service was quite poor; they wouldn't help lay out towels, nor would they let us take extra towels ourselves. The pool bar service was decent, but the coffee was terrible.
Breakfast was okay. We went to the Western restaurant on the 6th floor for dinner, and the service there was excellent, with reasonable prices.
Overall, I found the stay experience to be very good, but the service in the public areas was just average, and the buggy staff's attitude wasn't great either. There's no valet parking at the entrance. Compared to the 'seven-star' hotel everyone talks about, I'd say this is more like a high-end resort, suitable for locals looking for a staycation. Tourists don't need to make a special trip here.

GGuest UserThe hotel provides complimentary airport transfer which is very convenient! Also located near to JP theme park and food court! Food is quite yummy , very affordable price even for room service. Overall, a pleasant stay. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool!

GGuest UserHonestly, in my opinion, this is one of the best places to stay in Brunei. It’s away from the general hustle and noise. Yes, you’ll need to order a taxi to get to the city center — Brunei doesn’t seem to have many proper pedestrian paths — but taxis arrive quickly and it’s not an issue.
The location right by the water is beautiful. The hosts are wonderful. The common area is very cozy, with plenty of games and books, and the breakfasts are delicious. The best part — the lady of the house prepares a different breakfast every single morning.
Everyone is attentive and thoughtful. Before I arrived, they even asked whether I had any allergies, dietary restrictions, religious considerations, or food preferences. You rarely find such a personal approach.
The room was clean and, most importantly, very quiet. And forgive me for mentioning this — but there are no mosques nearby, so you won’t be woken up by early morning prayers at 5 a.m. It’s truly peaceful. My sleep tracker showed 97%, which says a lot.
I highly recommend this place for your stay.
