I rarely write reviews, but this time I really have to, because I'm so incredibly touched. I absolutely must thank Manager Lily for making our trip such a perfect experience. We were truly overjoyed, and because of that, my impression of this hotel is fantastic 👍: This trip was with my two elderly parents and a 4-year-old child, and I was genuinely nervous. Could I take good care of everyone? Would the journey go smoothly? Then, right at the hotel entrance, we met Manager Lily. With a radiant smile, she immediately offered to carry two large suitcases for me. She chatted with us all the way to our room, asking how we were, and once inside, she meticulously explained how to use all the lights and appliances. She even reminded us to close the balcony screen door to keep out mosquitoes. I was so happy and felt so warmly cared for – it was like drinking ice-cold spring water when you're parched, and the fatigue from traveling instantly vanished. After resting a bit, we were ready to explore the ancient town. It was our first time in Fenghuang, and we had no idea where to start. Luckily, on the first floor, Manager Lily had arranged maps and gave us a detailed explanation of a sightseeing route. She even arranged for the hotel car to drop us off at the entrance of the ancient town. And after we finished exploring, Manager Lily again arranged for a car to pick us up from the ancient town and bring us back to the hotel. With both elderly family members and a child, this trip was truly effortless and delightful. All my previous worries were gone, and the journey was completed perfectly. That's why I'm seriously writing this review. This trip gave me an insight: Beautiful scenery is certainly appealing, and hotels with elegant environments make you comfortable, but what truly touches people's hearts and makes them cherish memories is undoubtedly the most sincere service and the most thoughtful arrangements, making you want to stay forever 👍. Thank you, Manager Lily! I've already made plans with her to stay again in October 🌹

My stay at Grand Hyatt Changsha truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely perfect; right downstairs, you'll find Wenheyou and Pozi Street, making dining, drinking, and shopping incredibly convenient. From my room, I could see both Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, and the high-altitude river view was breathtaking. Taking a bath while enjoying the night view from the tub was pure bliss. The freshly made rice noodles for breakfast were incredibly authentic, and the roast duck and chopped chili fish head at Xiangjiang 36 are definitely worth a special trip. The amenities, like Balmain toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer, showed great attention to detail. The service was also very thoughtful; I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout my stay. The front desk and concierge service were excellent; everyone was smiling, enthusiastic, and professional, making me feel truly at home. If you're coming to Changsha, this is the only place you need to stay. I'll definitely be back!

Hotel near Tianmenshan Cableway/Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park,Zhangjiajie 58.9% of visitors choose this area
GGuest User 2026.05.01
A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

The hotel room was exceptionally spacious with a classic decor, and the bedding was of very high quality and incredibly comfortable. The butler service exceeded my expectations and truly impressed me. Before check-in, the butler, Grace, proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs. Throughout my stay, whatever I required, the butler responded promptly and resolved my issues, making me feel exceptionally cared for. The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options, with a diverse breakfast selection and a pleasant restaurant ambiance. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement... Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient. Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich.

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the confluence of the Xiangjiang and Liuyang rivers. Our room had a northern view, overlooking the Changsha Museum, Library, and Music Center, offering a broad and open panorama of the city's relaxed and comfortable vibe. The room layout was well-designed, with a smooth flow, making all functional areas convenient to use. The lounge's snacks were quite good, and the cocktail making was self-service. Downstairs, one side leads directly to the Beichenhui commercial complex, while the other opens to the riverside greenway, making shopping and strolling very convenient. There's also a small sports center nearby where you can play tennis, squash, badminton, etc., making it a very comfortable choice for a vacation. Finally, a big thank you to rarity and Sera for their enthusiastic assistance; the service was excellent and very personalized.

What truly stood out during this stay was the thoughtful care from our service manager. Before we even arrived, she sent detailed directions and location info, even marking landmarks because she was worried we might get lost. She patiently answered all our questions during our communication, never once being perfunctory. The hotel facilities are very new, the room was spotless, the bathroom had no odors, and the public areas were clean and bright. For this price, the environment and service offer incredible value for money. When checking out, I happened to catch her on duty. She smiled, said goodbye, and even reminded me to watch my luggage, which instantly gave me a feeling of warmth, like family. I've stayed in many hotels, and such meticulous and considerate service is truly rare. I highly recommend it; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

This hotel on Fenghuang Ancient Town mountain offered an amazing experience! The misty mountain air was so fresh and humid, making me feel incredibly relaxed. The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The huge bathtub was a dream for a relaxing soak. The balcony views of the mountains are enchanting. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best of all, it's far from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a tranquil and quiet atmosphere – the vibe was just perfect. It was a truly comfortable and perfect stay. Our whole family traveled together, booking three standard rooms and one king room. Both the adults and children were very satisfied, and the hot springs were wonderfully relaxing. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all highly professional and enthusiastic, always promptly addressing any requests. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit! ❤️❤️❤️

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. I especially want to commend Ms. Qu Xianlin, a server in the restaurant, for her exceptionally thoughtful and enthusiastic service. GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.' The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear. The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits. At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful. The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect. Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back. Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.

GGuest UserAmazing, amazing, amazing! Ugh, I knew it was going to rain today, I shouldn't have come out. But this hotel? Highly, highly, highly recommended! The ambiance is 1000/10, service is 1000/10, and the facilities are advanced and excellent, 1000/10. And the toothbrush set wins the championship: the toothbrush is so good that even Universal NOAH Hotel would have to bow down – is this even fair?! (No, it's not!) The toiletries are also super, super, super great! So good I wanted to steal them all, steal them, steal them all! And the slippers actually have soles, like real shoes! I forgot to snag them, darn it! (Just kidding, tee hee!) Ugh, the most thoughtful amenity award goes to: the disposable bathtub liner + bath salts! Other hotels always make me buy my own, but here they had everything ready! (But I came back too late and didn't get to use them, ugh, oh my god! Such a huge regret meow!!!) A big shout-out to the front desk guy for upgrading my room, arranging transportation, and giving me an even better view – truly, truly, truly an angel meow~ Finally, I want to sing 'Too Much Grievance' to the bathtub~ 🎤 Ugh, 'This is the most, most, most, most, most, most, most, most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed in!'

RRachchelloThis hostel is 40min drive away from the high speed rail station but conveniently located 5 min drive away from the west gate, which allows one to escape from the queues. We were here during the Easter holidays and even then, didn’t have to queue up for the cable cars or eco buses. Most tourists entered via the East/South Gates thus we traveled from a counter direction. There isn’t much around the hostel so be prepared to fully immerse into the quietude of village life and the songs of roosters and birds. The nearest “town” (a few supermarkets and maybe two village restaurants)is also 5min drive away and Xiaozhao nicely offered us a drive on the Buggy. There isn’t any taxi around. The ride from here to downtown ZZJ or the high speed rail station would cost around RMB200. I like most the scenery from our spacious veranda, with a view to some classical zhangjiajie landforms, and equipped with a huge tea table and a jacuzzi. It was raining often, but I had fully enjoyed my waiting time till the sky cleared up. Xiaozhao took meticulous care of us - he quickly tended to any requests and offered great recommendations on travel routes. The compound is deeply surrounded by trees and offered good privacy. Food is a little overpriced but taste is good. Drawbacks…as they position as a high-end boutique hotel, the facilities and decors are a bit aged. TV screen was small by current standard and they can do better with the coffee.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for four nights, and my overall experience was fantastic; I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The room facilities were comprehensive, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The room also featured smart controls, which were convenient and sophisticated to use. The complimentary toiletries were high-quality and very pleasant to use. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the taste was excellent. All the staff members were exceptionally polite; they would greet me warmly and proactively whenever we met, making their service incredibly heartwarming. There's a self-service laundry room, and in the evenings, staff even deliver items to your room. The hotel's location is very close to the East Gate. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel's attention to detail was particularly thoughtful; each room was stocked with four bottles of drinking water daily, and the lobby offered complimentary cold drinks and various beverages. Every detail showed great care. My overall stay was impeccable, and the value for money was outstanding. Next time I visit Zhangjiajie, I will definitely choose this hotel again!
